Simple app that makes it easy to look at the ercot system conditions and wholesale energy prices. Keep in mind that Ercot does not operate any power generation facilities and is only able to direct local distribution operators to drop x amount of load during power emergencies.

Utterly useless. Only shows power usage for today. Should show historical usage data over the past days, weeks, months and years so we can put current usage in context. Also should tell us which generating stations are off-line and WHY. ERCOT claims transparency, but this app is carefully constructed opaquenes. I have deleted it.

Horrible! One of the worst apps I have ever used. Why can't I find a schedule for the rolling blackouts? Without a schedule it's impossible to know if power is out because of the rolling blackouts or it's an outage that needs to be reported. The ERCOT website says to download the app, but it doesn't help at all, it's worse than the website.

All the 1 star reviews are people that got mad during the Feb'2021 blackouts. Absolutely nothing to do with the app. The fact that this REALTIME data is available to consumers at all is amazing. Thanks for the great app!

App is bare bones and explains nothing of any value. I'm furious to learn that 90% of my state's power grid is managed by these con artists who don't even live here! Three days of freezing temperatures IN WINTER should not be a surprise large enough to shut down the entire state!

need to do some updates like outlook predictions and need to add MW to the graph so you can actually tell what the curve is showing.

Does not display historical usage information, generating source data, etc. All it does is tell you current usage

Rolling blackouts implies i will have power. 13 hours later with less than 1 hour of actual power isn't "rolling" anything. Fix this.

App says there is an update. Click update now, goes to Play Store, but there is no update.

You updated the app and removed the grid lines? So now it conveys even less information than before. Can we have the grid lines back, please?

Doesn't work... crashes on opening

As people continue to suffer and die, ercot continues to hide in the shadows. Any response is a scripted political statement to redirect blame or hide their ineptitude. I hope the legal system can actually clean this organization up this time around. Leadership needs to be removed and people need to to be held accountable!

Least useful app I have downloaded, shows no significant information

I feel like this app could be so much more informative.

These rolling outages are ridiculous, been without power for over 7 hrs now.

Ercot can eff right off. Their intentionally harmful actions will cost myself, amongst many other Texans, thousands of dollars in home repairs. 6 days later and countless people including myself are still without running water because we're all on an endless wait-list for plumbing repairs. Our pipes burst not because we didn't prepare, but because YOU didn't prepare. You failed our state at the time we needed you the most and are no where to be found in the aftermath.

Would be nice to see next day's view, especially in the PM

Good App but could have more functions

They must have app in Texas. Helps to know when the grid gets loaded down and I'm able to do my part in energy conservation during those peak times.

Doesn't scroll press release pages can only view so much of the press release fix and get higher rating
