"Escape from the Universe" is an action shooter in an outer space with an incredible randomized storyline.

This is just a splendid little game. It's repetitive, of course, as many rougelikes/rougelites but that's what's fun to me with this one.

I finally got a new phone that can handle this game well and it is greaaaaat
There should be a way to change how the ship/character moves. If you're familiar with the game Strikers 1945 or Air force 2014, then you know what I mean. There should be an option to control your ship through dragging anywhere on the screen and NOT following your finger. Asides from that issue I have no complaints at all!
Cant be played.. i got that error message on the title screen.. after repeated uninstall
OK,I give 5 star just because I rarely have trouble playing this game other than it sometimes crashes but that is not such a big deal besides it's pretty rare that the game crashes but I just have one question.Does the story like have an ending because if not what's the point of playing this game that's all for now.I hope they reply.
I love how you can speed up by going to the top of the screen.
Excellent game! I wasn't around for the first updates, but my experience has been solid from the get-go. You are rewarded well for completing quests, allowing for great progress in upgrading the ship. And just as well, the game is fairly punishing if you don't pay attention to your shields. Addictingly simple, and delightfully challenging.
But now having your ship above your finger is incredibly annoying when trying to dodge asteroids etc update: got used to the controls, however achievements don't unlock for me despite completing my main story
Simple makes perfect with this game. dynamic of Its play made it easy fun to spend time in. Ads kinda annoy, but, better than most at this time.
Just started...and already hoping for a sequel and addicted to it. awesome storyline that is appealing to almost everyone(except for some people....) So glad I found this game 😁😁

And then you start getting hit with ads every 30 seconds (pretty much after every round) and the game makes you repeat levels dozens of times to grind the points you need to upgrade, either that or fork over cash (which of course was the developer's actual plan)
The game is amazing, but there is some movement delay. Also, when you get hit the screen turns black and you cant see anything, so you get hit repeatedly. The effect should be removed or reduced to the edges of the screen. Other than that, its a great game. EDIT: It's slowly turning into a slow grind for more credits for upgrades... "Go fast" when you go fast, or even somewhat fast you run into something and die, or die from only being able to shoot from the middle...
This game goes among undertale and doom and destiny in the hall of great indie games.

But how do you expect me to dodge things if the screen turns black when I get hit? This is very annoying because once I get hit once I can't see anything and start to get hit repeatedly.

I really enjoy this game, the graphics are great and the story is fun.
cons: repetitive, controls a bit too lose pros: amazing art style and fun fast paced levels. variety of missions and enemies, as well as interesting lore. would definitely reccomend, at least to try.
