I liked it enough to download #2! HOWEVER I am finding a few differences in this edition I am not so happy with. First, when I'm given a "puzzle" to finish, I'm used to being able to tap a "?" (usually) and at least see what the finished puzzle should look like, so I at least know what I'm SUPPOSED to do! Sometimes I've had to use the 3 hints just to solve it simply because I can't figure out what the goal is! VERY ANNOYING! There is more, but I'm out of space! But, it's FUN! I keep playing!

I've played so many of the 50 Escape rooms, and enjoyed each one. This one, though, is glitching and won't accept my finger taps. When I tap on an item. It makes the sound indicating that something is supposed to happen, but nothing does. I close the app and start it back up again. It will work for one or two taps, and stops again. Will try the uninstall and re-install. If that works I'll come back and update my rating. Uninstalling and re-installing worked. Changed my rating.

After playing through the first game in this series, I had my doubts, but this sequel was a huge improvement. My brain is actually getting challenged for once. It no longer feels like just an average item search game. Theres things to do for once. I'll continue to play, but I'm turning that annoying looped music off forever.

Really enjoying these Escape Games. Ads are very short (thank you!) and free hints are available for puzzle solution. BUT ... some rooms are frustratingly dark to see what you're doing. Puzzle requirements/answers are a bit obscure. I don't enjoy some of the tile-shifting "play this game" formats and spin function help takes absolutely AGES to land on a hint/reload. I have also inadvertently hit the Hint button a few times while tapping around the screen. Otherwise = addictive fun!! Good one.

The game was thrilling, but at some point became very annoying, cos of the extremely difficult mini puzzles that are almost impossible to solve without clues... I mean a game is supposed to be fun and thrilling, and not a source of serious headaches... Even the lower levels are equally difficult and you spend the whole day playing one level

Mostly fun, creative puzzles. Sometimes a bit random, like level 14 with the panels in the wall. Says 'play this game' with no indication as to what the goal is. So I'm mindlessly moving the blocks around in the hope that, sooner or later, I'll ran randomly hit on the right pattern. And level 9 door same kind of thing. Randomly turning lights on until I finally got the right combo. Overal not bad, pretty interesting for the most part, but needs a few tweaks here and there.

Only rating this so (hopefully) the game will stop harassing me about it. Fun, but several puzzles are really stretching it as far as connection to clues goes. There's a difference between challenging puzzles and arbitrary connections that make no sense, and there seems to be an awful lot of the latter not even half way through. An ad after each room, not too bad especially since most you can close after a few seconds. Some of the interactions are difficult to trigger.

Enjoyable as is the other games in this series I've played. The puzzles and mini-games require more than just trial and error. This one is a little rougher around the edges than #1. The puzzles are more varied, but some of the solutions are so obscure I don't see how they can be solved without hints- e.g. one requires you to discern colors on very small figures in a painting; another involves deciding the order of numbers in a code. These problems are why only 4 stars. I still recommend it.

Awesome game so far, but a few things i don't like - the rooms are pretty dark (making pictures or numbers hard to read), the puzzles are not intuitive and without any instruction it's hard to solve, and there is no save function. I've lost progress on several levels and its frustrating especially if I've used some hints on a puzzle. Otherwise, its pretty good.

Very enjoyable. Nothing too complicated, sometimes you really have to stop and think! I like the hints accumulate. Hints point yiu to your next step, just make sure you are looking at the entire room before you click on because it won't be much help if you are zoomed in on an item. 3 hints will solve a puzzle in case you get frustrated. Definitely recommend. This is the second set of 50 escape rooms I've downloaded. Fun to play a few with the family each night via mirroring to the tv.

Fun game that could be much better with minor adjustments. There seems to be a bug that crashes the game once in a while when I accidentally click on an ad. I wouldn't mind except that the game doesn't save progress on individual levels so I have to restart the game then restart the level. I wish the objects that are picked up would have titles for what they are when you click on them. Often the clues just have you tap on something that you have already tapped on and don't help at all.

Seeing the same issues as some other folks. Mostly I'm reviewing to stop the distracting prompt. I liked the 1st iteration, but the 2nd, while seemingly more challenging, is really just more arbitrary. The clues are often irrelevant, the hints are a waste unless you're focused on exactly the right spot, and the ads disrupt mid-level. It's not a test of how clever you are, but how much you think like the developer. Hopefully later series are more cohesive, though not sure I'll ever find out.

Good game but.. it's a really good game, that challenges you and makes you think. Exactly what you want from the game! The game has a few ways to help gain tips/hints. However whenever I spin the wheel, it only lands on ads which is expected! My issues is, when I watch the adds nothing happens. No exit button ( X in the corner) Only way to get off the add is to press the back button on my phone. When I do this it goes back but doesn't add the hint. I'm basically just watching ads for nothing.

These are still great games. Something happened between the first and second game. This one has many more puzzles that don't have a clear logic to them and a higher reliance on clues (baseball shirts, books on shelf, colored pegs on boat?) . Also the rooms are way too dark and there's many tiny little areas to click that are important but not easy to locate. The controls for some of the games is poor (rebuild statue). It's fun but less so and but more annoying than the first game.

Pretty good, some clues are clever. The hint button area is too big; I've clicked on the screen part near the hint area and it gives me a hint, even though I don't want one and didn't click on it. That's frustrating. The clues on level 30 make no sense, they want you to figure out meanings when there are none (even using the hint that maps out a few different things all in one shows a conclusion but not how we're supposed to get there), hence the four stars. I also wish the rooms weren't so dark.

The first version was fun, and enjoyably challenging. I enjoy games and puzzles however the first 15 levels of this game are incredibly hard. I get it is the 2nd version of the game, however the puzzles in the early stages of this game are almost more challenging than the last few levels of the first version. There's also zero hints to help you figure out some of the puzzles, like they give you some weird game board and you have no idea what the objective of the puzzle is. Waste of time.

The game starts out like the previous one and then just get absolutely infuriating with how vague the puzzles can be, some of them are even timed and if you dont complete it you have to do the entire level again. I was hoping people were just over-complaining about the teenie-tiny clickable stuff but that turns out to be true, sometimes you really do have to touch every single pixel on your screen to find things. Yeah the game is free but hey you get what you pay for right?

Escape game is a very beautifully illustrated game. Graphics are incredibly lifelike. The puzzles and games as well as the searches are almost too difficult to figure out. I have had to take notes, take pictures and refer to them as well as get lots of hints just to move forward. I give this series of games an 11 out of a possible 10. Its fantastic.

Fun and often challenging. The biggest annoyance is that many essential clues are very small and incredibly hard tp decipher if you don't have perfect vision. The other annoying thing us that there is no explanation for the puzzle within the rooms. So you have to figure out the objective and then how to win it. You also can't get any clues for these puzzles, you either flounder or waste 3 clues for the puzzles to be solved. It would be nice if they at least specified the objective.

Frankly this games is pretty crappy compared to the first. It has some weird zoom in window instead of actually getting closer to the area you click on. The hints are non existent with some of the puzzles it forces you to use up hints to solve the puzzle, it doesnt just help you. This game would be a lot if you kept it in tune with the first one.

i like the game alot. it's fun. i read the reviews before i played, and almost all the complaints are accurate. i don't think the ads are too much, it beats paying money for hints. it's still a great game, lots of different puzzles that require basic knowledge on various subjects. some puzzles are not explained, and that can be frustrating because instead of the hint telling you how to play, and solves the puzzle for you. after playing for awhile, almost all the issues are resolved by level 12.

Some of the clues don't make sense. The 'Play this game puzzles' don't have an explanations and you just have to figure it out yourself. Also you should have reset button for puzzles so you don't have to reset the whole level ie.level 12. I'm currently on level 22 and it's quite frustrating uncovering a grid map "clue" and it isn't matching up. Also sometimes I'll be stumped and use a hint only to find out its something I've already tried. Overall a good game, just can get annoying sometime.

Apart from two or three puzzles that were really puzzling and required hints, the rest are straight forward and the objective of the mini puzzle games can be easily figured out. But it was very easy to accidentally hit the hint button, and no confirmation will be asked of you, therefore wasted valuable hints. This is not helped by the fact that clues are scattered randomly in totally dark environment and the player has to randomly click on the screen. Free hints are given out daily though.

Great series of escape games. Some are fairly easy depending on how you solve puzzles, but others are very difficult. Awesome way to spend some time if you have it to waste and give your brain a workout at the same time :-) A few levels seem to have some minor glitches, but it seems that closing the hame and reopening the level takes care of any I have seen. NOTE: using this method to solve the glitch will reset the level so you will have to repeat it from the beginning of the level.

It's ok. It is interesting but some of the games to open things are ridiculously difficult! Math? Really? I think they designers are trying to frustrate us so much that we'll buy hints. One level wouldn't give the coin I needed so I had to reset and do it again. Which meant having to do the math again. I've tried 3 different ones but they're all the same. Too anxiety provoking to be fun. I'm done. I will no longer play these.

The game has a nice progression curve. It starts with relatively easy puzzle to incrediably complexing one. I have read some complaints about no instruction for mini-games. But for me, the game becomes more entertaining when I tried to find out what each mini-puzzle is about. My only complain is the last 10 levels. Clues are not clear and sometimes players must make random guess in order to proceed. But overall, a great free game.
