I'm starting not to like these games (the Japanese style ones). The mini game was a little bit unfair, but when a random animal appears out of nowhere and gets angry when you just tap on it, I start to lose interest in a game. I didn't like its design either. The place has good scenery and easy puzzles, but I just didn't enjoy it this time. Sorry.
Compared to Jammsworks newer games, it's 4 stars because it's shorter and less challenging but compared to other developers, it's 5 stars. I just don't know what the point of pouring the hot tea was for
Disappointing compared to others by this developer. Got stuck with the cranes and origami puzzle. While I usually like the clues because they don't tell you the answer, I couldn't get it right here. Unclear which birds came first in some cases and whether body or beak direction. Tried lots of alternatives but had to bow out eventually.
As an 😍 escape-game fan 😍, this was easy but enjoyable, and with LOVELY, SOOTHING illustrations/graphics, but I was forced to use a hint for the final puzzle, only to realise that I was expected to have understood the kanji on the magazine cover... 🤔 😐 Uhhmm???!!! The option to take notes was so thoughtful 😘, but a camera function would've been appreciated too i.e. the ability to screenshot clues & segments of the game. These games are regretfully short 😕 but still worth the RECOMMENDED👌❣
A short game but still challenging. Another solid offering from Jammsworks.
I was excited when the quirky puzzle of "TITLE" appeared. But then that's it?! Too short for real! I was hoping that this would be like Kyoto Escape game where I could explore the sceneries outside tge ryokan. Even the mini game was not that exciting. The title should be "Ryokan" instead of "Hakone". Then it will fit the game.
Absolutely loved it! The setting is quite beautiful and soothing. It's neither that difficult nor very easy. I've played this same game multiple times and still can't get over it.
I only needed one hint. Loved the Asian theme, layout, setting, environment. Remember right doesn't always mean to the right. Left doesn't always mean to the left. Things aren't always from left to right.
This was a VERY short 'game' -not worth the download. It was just another duplicate of all the other Jammsworks games. The only difference was too many japanese things like the magazine ALL in japanese. The childlike 'mini' games are NOT games as they are done in 15 secs, n that isnt a game!
It was really easy and since I didn't leave the game at all no barrage of ads. Pretty to look at except the random monkey
One extensive level full of puzzles, then you get a shorter bonus level once you complete it
Your game was fun and great graphics, but the control was terribly slow, please improve it
Great play without glitches. I also appreciated that all the clues made sense.
One of the best escape games. A little bit of a challenge, but not unsolvable. I enjoyed playing this game.
Had to use the walkthrough at the end. didn't see the numbers on title. You got me guys!
I got stuck and needed a hint for the paper cranes. Also idk how I got the hot water going for the spa.
It was good up until the second mini game on the arcade, it was unplayable on my phone
Good game. Only needed a couple of hints. Beautiful graphics.
Very enjoyable but not long enough. I completed it within an hour
Glitch. Door where sword is, won't open. Can't go any farther. Uninstall.
The difficulty is just enough, smooth and cute game
Good but not their best. After game puzzle far too easy
Fun game, but pretty short. Worth the time though.
How are you supposed to know which way the painted cranes are facing so you can match it with the paper cranes?
Game is good but abit too short though
need more games. love and played all
GREAT GAME. Really enjoyed it. Thank you.
Super fun. Love it.
When I went into the game it kicked me out again
The length of the game felt just right for me. Didn't use any hint and took the time to figure it all out. Granted, I did finish it in one sitting. The difficulty could be classified as easy for experienced players. Right now I'm looking for short, relaxing games with reasonable and intuitive puzzles. This was perfect for that.
