The story was rather unexciting as they barely made any effort with it. Some of the puzzles were rather fun but the logic behind some of them can be a little bit ridiculous/humorous. Labelling the items would be rather helpful. Beginner level friendly with lots hints and showing you display of exactly what item you need to look for unasked, such as a safe pin code paper, infront of the safe... aleast you need to look for paper before you type the pin... A decent yet sometimes Challenging game.
I love the game and most of the puzzle is easy to solve but sometimes you will blank. This game can be played offline too, and I kinda like the puzzle, its addicted and sometimes I just wanna play this game bcs of that mini game..really exciting 😆...but the problem is... I think hint button you should put on the top bcs sometimes I dont want the hint but suddenly I pressed it without realized..its kinda frustrating for me cause I take a long time to collect the hint💔🤧.. Thanks developer,,💚
Only on level 9 so this could change. This game is not as good as 'Escape Rooms 50 - 1, 2, or 3'. However its still a challenge. I guess its just the design of this game I have issue with. I don't like being told what 'tool' I need and I find multiple rooms on a level a bit tedious. However, there are lots of free hints and i do enjoy playing.
This looked like a really good game and I was looking forward to playing it. Unfortunately, there is a goggle ad that is continually displayed on the screen and it blocks part of the game controls. Also it will not always let u pick up items or even give u direction when u click on an item For example The door is locked you need a key...these types of messages are sporadic and rarely occur. I hope these issues can be fixed because it looks like a really good game.
Home Town is a big change for this Developer, best known for the 50 Rooms trilogy. Here there's a serious attempt to knit piles of puzzles into a real adventure. It almost works brilliantly. Almost. Home Town looks great, there's lots to do, and there are some really nice touches (such as the apparently 'real' passage of time), but the puzzles are a mixed bunch, ranging from 'Eh?' to 'Aargh!'. Many are of the block-slide variety; I don't enjoy those. Play offline to avoid distractions, and beware of accidentally hitting the Hint button (you can buy extra Hints, but I never spend cash on apps). Happily there's an auto-save feature: you can dip in and out without having to start from scratch. This is a bold effort - not quite up to Haiku Adventure Escapeâ„¢ level - but it's well done, entertaining and fun, and deserves a sequel.
It's a good game. The only problem I have is when you click to get a free hint by watching an ad, the same ad for the Wish App comes up, but it never ends and you cannot get the free hint. You press the back button or the 'x' in the corner and it voids the free hint, if you wait for the ad to end, it does NOT end and so you still never get your hint. I cannot get past one of the puzzles. Please fix this issue so I can just get the hints without having the same ad come up every single time. It's very frustrating because I cannot continue playing the game without getting past this one puzzle.
So far so good. Nice map provided, seems like a good escape game so far. I closed the please rate us message 3 or 4 times already, please let me play some before you ask for a rating! Anyway,I've played a bit more and I like it. If it clicks but didn't work can't it means you need to get another part first, bit confusing.. Inventory items need text. Update: Over 1/2 done, highly recommend. Long game that has good puzzles and minigames, several buildings each with 3-4 room's. Very much enjoying!
Fun game... not easy in parts I must admit, but I stuck with it till the end. Some of the objects you collect along the way are a bit vague in illustration alone, so often not sure what they actually are or what you might have to do with them. That said lovely design and varied game play kept me coming back. Look forward to playing more from this team.
It's an okay game. Graphics are amazing, gameplay could be better. Puzzles are fun. Hint system is broken, some ads will not give hints. Grammar is terrible. I understand that English may be a second or third language for the developer, but is it so hard to use a grammar checker? Could do with items actually being labelled as what they are. Also, dont ask for ratings at the beginning of the game. Players can't judge a game that quickly. I'd given it a 1 star rating out of frustration due to that
I am a massive fan of escape games and just escape related stuff in general, so I'm a little harder to impress, however this was done brilliantly amazing graphics, neat puzzles, and a fun experience overall. The only thing I think could be improved is making it a small bit clearer of what you can and cannot click. Other than that I absolutely love it, amazing job devs!
A pretty forgiving game. But honestly nothing more than just puzzles though. You know the game seems to offer a sort of story but it's only from the beginning and end. If the puzzles supposed to give me a meaning well it doesn't offer much. The game is simple but challenging. You can skip it if you want. You can move from map to anywhere (but you don't need it much). If I had to sums it, the game is fun but no story to offer. You find people but they too don't talk. Kind of a let down.
Pop-ups every 2 minutes to rate the game is annoying. Also there's no names to the items I find. Sometimes I don't even know what I have because I can't really tell what it looks like. In other games, soemtimes when you click on an item in your inventory the name will pop up like handle for net or something. Other than those 2 things it isn't a bad game.
It was definitely challenging. For those who were irritated you couldn't pick up the gold key in the Rose's, you needed to cut away the thorns and then you can get the key. These puzzles work your brain and takes time. The hints are annoying to get but it just makes you want to try harder. I give a five star, please make more escape games!
Most puzzles were a bit too easy, at least once you worked out what you needed to do. No pay, never asked for money or for watching ads (although you CAN watch ads in exchange for hints). The only ad was a very unintrusive banner at the bottom, outside the play area. Very good, a bit short. For those who say that you need a mat in the puzzle with chemicals and bottles, no you don't. What you need is work out a way of getting the right quantities WITHOUT leftovers. Recommended.
Controls aren't very good. The pieces you have to find are hard to decider what they are which makes them hard to decide where to use them. The scenery is good. The hints spinning wheel 90% of the time lands on an ad but you don't receive a hint after watching the ad and that is crappy. This is why I had to rate this game a 3.
Good Game. Lots of puzzles that don't take too long, most need a clue you've opened or spotted along the way. Or use of an item you've found, which often is a diagram of what's expected instead of having to work stratergys out for yourself. Can be a bit frustrating if you don't put items in EXACTLY the right spot , or press in exactly the right place. FREE hints, which accumulate. And Map helps as sometimes the items you find need to be used in previous room or one you hav'nt unlocked yet.
This is an entertaining game but the pop up windows are a bit random as you click on different areas of the room so I am never sure if I am missing something due to not hitting the right spot. Some steps are obvious but some are a bit frustrating if you don't know what is holding you back. I accidently hit the clue icon a few times so clues were wasted when I did not need them. I was able to get to the end of the story with clues left over so I was not hurting for clues.
fun at first but as it progress, progress made less and less sense. found myself rapidly/randomly clicking in rooms to see if missed anything since game is touchy about which clicks go to which places. game is more frustrating than fun cause don't have money to buy clues. The clues were pretty horrible too. For them to be useful, you have to be in exact area of next step for it to help. on puzzles, clues just solve for you instead of directing how to solve and it takes many clues to solve them
Very easy, almost too easy. Would be nice to see the name of the stuff you find in the tray. At times it's hard to make out what some of the items are. The constant asking to rate game was annoying. How can I rate 2 seconds into the game. The map is way too close to the hints. Kept hitting hints when not needed. Just wasn't as enjoyable as some of the other escape games.
I cant get enough of this game. I'm hooked. A very clever and stylish game I just hope it , the game, keeps up with it's great visiual scenery and clever solutions. Also thrown into the game are puzzle mini games within the overall main game. Got to say. Way to go programmers. You really came through with shining colors. Take a bow. thanks for the good times.
The puzzles made you think and were easy to solve. I liked the way the game tied all of the rooms together with the clues. I did get stuck a twice, watched an ad or two and got the hints I needed to move forward. I'm only giving it 4 stars because I was able to finish it in a day and wish there were more rooms to unlock and clues to follow. Overall a good, addictive game.
most of the puzzles were pretty easy for an experienced escaper, but a few were the kind that just need a huge amount of time. thankfully there is a way to skip the painful ones. most of it was logical. nice graphics. you do have to just tap everything to figure out what you can interact with. overall it was fun and satisfying.
Puzzles were interesting, but lacked direction. Many were not very intuitive as well, so it was more a matter of trying everything until something worked instead of being able to solve what the solution is by yourself. The graphics were beautiful, but too much looked to be interactable when it wasn't. Overall an okay game, but frustrates easily.
The puzzles are very easy to solve.. disappointingly too easy when you realized that you spent more time looking for the objects it needed than when you solved it. Then you'll spent more time again figuring out what and where and how to use the objects you randomly found. I'm not really sure if it suppose to have a story and a goal, aside from just "escaping", because I feel like solving the puzzle doesn't actually make any sense for the progression of its suppose story.
Good game, but extremely frustrating that completed areas are still available. Should not be able to click back on finished areas. Also would be helpful to know what collected items are, since they're very small images, even on a tablet. It also gives hints about what items are required when you click in an area--very helpful! Graphics are good, puzzles are mostly sensible. Hints are available. Decent free app.
