Escape Logan Estate

One of the best from SnapBreak. There's one MASSIVE issue (I would have given fives stars otherwise), namely each "episode" has to be completed. There's no way to save the game, except for when a chapter or episode ends. This is a major drawback, because you're stuck, you can't take a break and come back to it later.

A really short game where you can play 10 minutes of it, and it's just a third of the whole game. The graphics and ambience are really nice, especially the later. Some puzzles are quite challenging as well. The story start off with potential, but it kinda didn't tap into the "solving the mysterious" part. Just another regular family trip, with puzzles.

I feel like it has a lot of potential. The story seems interesting and the graphics are really aesthetically pleasing. But it's a bit tiresome. Maybe add some indicators that show places that can be clicked on or once you acquire a certain item, the place where it's suppose to go to will light up or something. I got stuck at one point and ended up clicking a lot of places that aren't even...clickable (?) But anyway, cute game but still needs some improvement. Thanks!

I really enjoyed the game. I bought the remaining chapters and overall I'm not really disappointed with spending the $2 maybe $3? The art work is beautiful. I would personally suggest making the movement arrows a bit bigger and possibly a different color as sometimes I missed that I could go further because the arrows blended in to the scenary. The story doesn't have any sense of structure and you don't have any closure. This was my biggest disappointment. Maybe more chapters will come out?

I like the art style and sounds, the puzzles are ok. And there seemed to be an interesting story there. But if this is the entire game - only 3 chapters - it's a rip off at that price (even when it's on a discount). It's like reading the first chapter of a book, but then they have cut out the rest and made a rushed ending. It's made even more annoying with all the hints about there being something more there and then you get nothing. I do really hope there is more to this, but for now.. 2/5

I bought the whole game, and overall this game is hilarious in an infuriating way. The storyline is crude and doesn't make any sense. This game consists of so little frames that nothing ever really moves, and they even black out some scenes that I guess was too much work. The puzzels are ridiculously easy that the moments that get you stuck is never when you stop to think but when they hide things in places that are out of context. That is NOT the challenge I have been looking for.

First of all, game worked just fine, had zero bugs or crashes. Loved the art style, liked the story and how it went full circle but it felt like something was missing, as if it lacked something. Some puzzles were nice, some just made no sense to me, and others were simply irritating (like the torch path with the wet wood, that was terrible).

it was an amazing game at first, then i found the key to one of the drawers in the 1st act and it didnt let me click on it no matter how hard i tried even though it was the only way to progress. i think it is a bug. i have a note 3 and the screen works fine. i can do other things too - just not get the key. this was a great game otherwise and ill give it a 3 until it fixes this.

Unintuitive, barely prompted puzzles and just enough backstory to suggest that the mom is an optimistic idiot to have left her kids with this guy. The boy you play as is unengaging; no clue if the intent is to switch to the sibling, for chapter two, but that character has only slightly more personality. Wherever the story was planning to go next with the weirdo in the woods wasn't really hinted at - no hook there. First chapter is free, but fairly frustrating to figure out what the game wants you to do in each of the 3 stages available. You have to buy each subsequent chapter, which I wasn't inspired to do at all by the free chapter. Visuals are nice and the game mechanics are decent. That's it.

second try downloading.Now the sound is gone, very slight music. Puzzles need some explaining? How to know that parts to solve a bookshelf puzzle would be, A: in the kitchen drawer? and B: in the bathroom light fixtures? Then, the last answer was wrong! in fact they were confusing, mirror image is backwards not upside-down? but that wasnt right either? more confusion? I continually went to walkthroughs during part 2? I hate that. Then had fo upload the game again? instruction would be nice?

Fun game. Great puzzles. But it feels incomplete. There are hints (and a puzzle) in the last chapter that never get used. There are setups in the story that never get explored. It feels like there is more to the game, then it just ends.

The graphics are amazing and puzzles are challenging. The puzzle at the end with the axe and wood didn't make sense and had to watch a walk-through to solve. Also had difficulty understanding the nail/bolt and clue puzzle. The story's start up is amazing but ending is a big let down. No answers were provided for the events that were happening especially about the masked person. The ending I got is Sam running away then mask shows up. Only giving 4 stars for challenging puzzles and graphics.

I pay for the full game... the art styles are good and I like the story line so far. But, I can't get past chapter two. When you have to go make luke the pancakes it doesn't let me put the flour into the bowl. It's very disappointing, I have been enjoying the game so far. I guess I should have read through the review first 😣 I do hope this problem will be fixed so I can play it in the future and make poor luke his pancakes.

Warning: spoilers ahead! It was almost worth the time I wasted on this game to get to the animation of the grandfather being attacked by the fox. It was hilarious! When the grandfather says, "Alright, let's go," meaning on the hunt, you could spend the rest of your life trying to figure out where to click to continue. This game is filled with problems of that nature. I liked the puzzles but I wouldn't have continued on for free let alone $1.99 for each new chapter. Not recommended.

OMGoddess! Has the best of all puzzle escape games that I've played. Graphics are amazing. Game play is smooth. Has just the right balance of logic and challenge and mystery. Even the dialogue, that I usually skip, is fine because it's brief and points you towards the right direction.

The game was fun and challenging. The art is good. It is all captivating.. but you have to pay to progress. That is disappointing.. especially when there are ads. I'd suggest changing that or just making the app a paid app to begin with.. majority of the bad reviews are because of this reason.

*NOT ACTUALLY FREE* Good art, intriguing concept, but the game doesn't lead your actions effectively. The gameplay varies between "ingenius" and making you feel clever, and "really??" after having to look up a guide. You get about 15 minutes worth of free play and then have to buy the rest of the chapters. YMMV, I did not find it worth it.

Disappointing - don't spend your money. I paid for the final two chapters and like ppl said, there were more vague puzzles (some of them you already solved in ch.1 & some are repeated up to three times!), barely any context for the puzzles and NO wrapping up of the story. I mean, the story *ends*, you just don't know jack squat more than what you started with. Had great potential, total letdown. Why create all this intrigue for literally *nothing*? Will change rating if more content is added.

Its overall a good game, but its anoying that you have to pay for each chapter and that there is not an actual hint/tips system, only a walkthough and something that can tell you what items you can interact with for 60 seconds (1 minute). Like i said in the beginning, its a good game, but it has some anoying flaws.

I wish there was 0 star button. The game completely freezes after getting caught entering the door under the stairs by grandpa. Seems im not the only one with this issue either, so I can honestly say it isn't a phone issue this time. Looks as if you don't pay too much attention to the reviews on this one as this seems to be an on going issue for quite some time. Maybe if this bug is fixed, I will try it again in the future, but for now... Uninstalled.

I was enjoying it, but not being able to save part way through a chapter is really annoying. Also, i literally can't finish it, chapter 2 act 1 is glitched, and it doesn't show the door as a point of interest, I can't even click on it. I thought i was doing something wrong, the walkthrough shows i should be able to leave the room, but i cant.

This is what happens when to much time is spent on art and not enough on testing. There are multiple small bugs in the game from wrongly sized hit boxes, forest puzzle resetting, to the walk-through link not working. The story and art are not enough to carry it through when parts just don't work right.

Nonsensical story with unrealistic human behavior, with absolutely no correlation between the puzzles and what happens in the scenes. They are literally puzzles for the sake of puzzles. They make no sense in context and are very unrealistic in behavior. Many of them are completely unclear in what needs to be done. Controls are awful. Story keeps cutting between characters and time periods which makes it all very confusing. I like how one environment gets recycled with different puzzles per scene

What the... first off, very strange story plot. I have no idea what the creature in the forest has to do with any of it. Secondly, the riddles were just meh. I regret downloading this game because of the time I wasted.

I want to like this game but man it's frustrating. Toward the end there is a stupid tree "puzzle" that is infuriating. Even with a walkthrough it wouldn't work. It's also super sad and doesn't really make sense. Mystery is good but without pretty much any answer it gets annoying.
