Good potential, mediocre execution. If there would be some bug fixes, especially for level 12 so that the puzzle works as intended, it would be quite fun, but some of the puzzle really feel like they are there for the sake of it, rather than tying in with the story and stuff. I would like to come back to this game if it gets fixes and actually works like in the wlakthrough

Love the game but now I can continue due to a bug :/ I've been playing this game on and off for a while. There are video walkthroughs to help but even with those, these are pretty challenging levels. Additionally, there's a red and blue puzzle on the door of a cabinet in the 12th level that doesn't turn the same way as the video and never allows you to continue. I have no idea how you're supposed to know what to do for that puzzle.

Puzzles themselves are not really challenging and most of the time they are fine for a mobile game. Biggest issue is that active zones are not really obvious so player has to tap a lot to set which part of a scene is interactive. Some zones are too big, so even a tap nowhere near one actually activates it. Moreover, search for active zones underlines mediocre graphics that a lot of levels have. I've played this game via play pass and would never have paid for it otherwise.

I would gladly give this a 5 star rating if it weren't for the game not accepting the right answer. I am on "Observatory" and switched the tile wires to the correct position but it won't turn on the green light for the bottom half. I even went to a walkthrough after knowing my answer was correct because I thought I perhaps missed something. Now I can't continue the game since I can't complete the level. Otherwise it's a great game, not super challenging but enough to keep you engaged.

I was really enjoying the game until I reached the oil refinery. Something like 10 stupid keep the arrow on the green. First one went smoothly. Second, I am stuck can't get past. The arrow hits green barely but never lets you get the second click in to keep it on green, it drops so fast it is impossible at this point. I am so frustrated I want to quit. I'm not a young person with no patience. I even let my 13 year old niece try and she couldn't do it either. Why don't we have the option to skip?

The pro version of this game, while a bit pricy by mobile standards, was pretty decent. I never found any of the puzzles to be too cryptic. Unfortunately, a few puzzles in the game are horribly bugged. Some events don't trigger properly and some items can be destroyed. The map puzzle in particular is entirely broken, making it impossible to solve without consulting the walkthrough. I enjoyed the game as a whole, but it has the tendency to essentially soft lock.

Great game. Creative and unique. Developers did a wonderful job. Walkthroughs are available if you watch a short ad. No hints that I could see. I don't mind paying for games but $2.99 for a few extra levels isn't worth it to me. Although I appreciated the 9 free levels, I would have purchased it if there were more levels.

A wonderful set of refreshingly original puzzles set in an interesting world. I've become so used to various games rehashing the same puzzles over and over, it came as a delightful shock to encounter new and (even some unique) puzzles! As with several other Snapbreak games, though the details seem minimal at first, the story is engaging and draws you in quickly. I definitely recommend this game to anyone who enjoys puzzles.

After giving it 5 stars, had to come back and change the rating. The game is awesome, and having long ads every end of level is not game breaking for me. What is, is despite getting revenues from said ads, they still find it ok to ask for you to pay for the rest of the game. Bonus: even if you pay, you'll have to endure ads. In conclusion: rather interesting demo full of ads, not worth the effort

Good game however only 4 stars due to only 9 free levels but mainly because there was no autosave when you had to stop playing mid level. Quite annoying having to start again each time. This put me off buying the longer levels as I don't always have time to get to the end. Apart from that the graphics were good and the puzzles not too tricky but made u think.

Challenging but Doable if also a bit Frustrating. I would have given it four stars but I reached level 10 and discovered that I could only play further levels if I payed for them. There was no warning for this and I would not have invested the time it took to get this far if I had known. I was willing to put up with the ads but i never pay money for games that I likely will play only once.

I spent more times on ads then on puzzles. I think I had maybe 20 minutes of play time before I got to the paid levels. Then as I looked at the paid levels, it was disappointing to find only a few and it seems expensive considering play time is so short. I liked the graphics and sound.

loved the experience though no clues along the levels just an intruduction in each level informing the task. quite easy if you clicked everywhere and a bit of comun sense one figures it out. shame the adventure ended at level 10 for me ...thinking it was afree one when it wasnt...had to pay to carry on..which was disapointing there for the 4 * ...:( never the less i recomend this game.

Stages are pretty short and easy. App is poluted with ads, way too much for content it provides. Only 9 levels are free, if you want four more levels, you have to buy them. If they are like these free levels, I wouldn't buy them. If there were less ads, I'd give it more stars... But, come on, ad when you start app, ad before each level, ad before each hint.. I wonder why devs didn't put ad after every few clicks..

Not as good as their faraway 3d games. The rooms here I felt like you had to randomly click for areas of interest, and same goes for the objects you collect as it's usually impossible to know what's selectable and what isn't. The puzzles are good though. But be warned- despite them telling you the level size increase after paying- this isn't true!! I know someone who paid for the extra levels and after the faraway experience myself - I felt it wasn't value for money.

I enjoyed the game on the whole, but the "much longer" levels in the paid section didn't feel any different to the free part. Puzzles are straightforward and each level takes 1 to 2 minutes. Nothing too taxing. Many puzzles will only let you perform the correct action, which makes it quick to figure out without any clues.

Too many problem to describe my overall experience with this game so I will just say that it needs a way to save progress within a level and also a way to reset puzzles in the event of a wrong move. It also needs a way to skip puzzles for us idiots who are not good at solving puzzles. I know theres a facility to watch a walkthrough but even knowing a way to do things doesn't mean that you can actually do them (level 14 I'm thinking of).

A. G. u. May 17, 2019

The puzzles and the atmosphere are nice, too bad it doesn't efficiently save progress. If I exit the app without completing a level, next time I play I'll have to start the stage all over. It's not a big deal because the levels aren't that long, still kind of annoying though.

I loved it!! The world they offer up is somehow comforting and cozy. I keep going back just to be there, and I always notice new things when I do. I had no glitches. And though I did use hints, it wasn't all the time. I was just on playstore hoping for a new machine city release, and I saw some reviews that I completely disagree with, so I wrote my own. Looking forward to a new machine city game asap. Thanks.

You have to pay in order to progress in story. Seems like there's 16 levels in total and level 10 onwards is 1 pound worth. Mind you, the game has unskippable ads to top it all. Aesthetics and puzzles are mediocre and you won't miss out too much on inspiring creative decisions if you just skip this game.

Screen always rotates to upside down on Lenovo Tab 2, have to physically rotate the tablet if I want to use the case stand. Help is only available if online, even then the logic can be obscure. Levels have to be completed in one go as they don't remember progress. Paid for this but there are lot's of free games which are better. Think I'll stick with Faraway series.

Frustrating. I played Escape from Machine city 2 first. Loved it! This one is less, sophisticated. I quit at the third level because it seemed I had completed all the steps, but could not get the final action to work. Objects are harder to find, puzzles are at once simple, but abstruse. Not as fun as I had hoped

The first 11 levels (yes, I paid 2.99 for additional levels) were increasing challenging, but fun. On the 12th level, no matter how many times I solved the locker combination ( in accordance with the watched help), I was impossibly blocked from moving on. Frustration describes my feeling about this game.

A. G. u. Nov 21, 2018

After I paid for all the levels, and figured out how to go to video and back with out having to start level over, game was great until level 14. I cannot get all the lights to turn green, trying to keep needle in green area much to stressful, so i quit. Too bad, I liked it otherwise.

Collection of such classics as towers of hanoi (which you have to solve twice), trace-a-web-of-wires-to-see-which-is-which, simon says, transcribing symbols from one screen to another, and just trying to find out what can be clicked, atop a simple plot line that's just 10 chapters of "you have to move quick to escape the impending doom" followed by a paywall. Good for some three score minutes or so.

A bit clunky, not always able to tell what items are, so you have to click around a bit. Other than that, way to easy to justify paying for the extra levels. Why not just offer ads and pay if you don't want them.

This free on Google Play Pass Subscription game was enjoyable. The graphics are great! Though a little easy for me, those who find other puzzle games too difficult may find this one less frustrating. I'm yet to try its sequels and plan to.

Bar. G. Apr 19, 2022

Frustrating game. No way to restart the puzzles other then restarting the whole level. Not intuitive levels and all together more frustrating then anything else. Definitely not a game for me.

A. G. u. Sep 28, 2019

It was an okay game at first. To many ads made it very annoying but looking past that got to level 10 then had to pay for the rest of the levels, wasn't cheap either. With the game having so many levels/ sections thought you would have gotten a few more levels before having to pay out
