ESCAPE - Secret of the Hidden Room: Collaborator

I played Frankenstein first, and this game is done clumsier compared to that game. Plenty of unfixed bugs, some texts are still in Korean, sometimes items do not work the way they should that you have to exit and replay the game again. However, I must say it's astonishing how much improvement the developer managed to do in such a short time between this game and Frankenstein's release. It excites me to think of other games this developer could come up with in the future. I look forward to them.

Amazing graphics and story. Translation had a few errors, but nothing too bad. One line was completely untranslated, luckily it wasn't a very important one. The puzzles are fun and challenging, although some such as the waterway one were very unintuitive. Some hints are quite useless as well, they'll say something like "rotate the pieces to complete the puzzle" but won't tell you what the actual objective of the puzzle is. Constant banner ad in the corner made me remove a star.

Surprisingly good, but it's the first time ever I had a bug in a game. In the fourth level, I picked up the screwdriver with the spade on it and put it with 2 other things on the table. When I eventually put on the fourth item, the screwdriver disappeared and I found it in the cupboard again. Now I can't put it on the table again and I will have to play the whole level again. Also the writing is very small and disappears too fast. And a skip option for some games would be good. For some

PUZZLES: 3/5. Several of the logic puzzles had multiple solutions. One puzzle near the end was so confusing I just gave up and watched a walkthrough, and it still didn't make sense. The hints were extremely annoying to use. The timed level was terrible imo. STORY: 5/5. It was very tragic, but about realistic events. TRANSLATION: 2/5. This made the puzzles more difficult, the hints less useful, and the story worse. Lots of really bad spelling and grammatical errors.

I absolutely love this game! The story is actually pretty nice and the cut scene at the end broke my heart (he's so hot god damn)! The game is absolutely free to play and if you get stuck, you can watch an ad to help you get through it. I don't mind some of the broken English as I still get the message it was trying to convey. Overall, 10/10 recommend for people who like mystery and puzzle games!

It was fun most of the time except when I was trying to figure out a word puzzle written in broken English while a timer ran down. It would be better next time to hire someone fluent in English rather than what seemed to be just using Google translate lol. Not bad, the games were fun but some, like the one you solve by putting the candle to the piece of paper on the wall to reveal the "solution" made no sense at all. Not bad but could stand some improvement. Keep up with it and all your puzzles will stand to the your story!

This game is really good: the story is gripping and so relatable, the puzzles are not too easy and quite diverse so not to bore the user, the 3d graphics are brilliant. Only complaint is the English translation that sometimes makes understanding the goal of a puzzle a bit too difficult. Definitely recommend.EDIT: not sure what's happened with the last updates, but the game exits randomly, is a bit buggy with controls and loses items already placed, so I cannot continue solving the puzzle.

Unplayable. I've tried to play it dozens of times, but every time I open it, within 5-30 seconds, it closes out. I haven't been able to get any further than opening chapter one and reading 3 or 4 sentences before it closes out, and 90% of the time it doesn't even make it that far. It usually closes on the very first screen, where it's synchronizing/loading. It's really annoying! *Update* I went to the website to detail the error I'm having, but the website is in a different language.

Story: 5/5. Very likeable protagonist, interesting storyline, and though the plot twists were a bit predictable, they were still enjoyable nonetheless. There were several grammatical errors due to the translation from Korean, but I could still understand the gist of the dialogues just fine. Puzzles: 3/5. Some puzzles were designed rather obsurely and I had trouble understanding what they were trying to get at. I'm not a big fan of all the mathematical puzzles either, but that's more a matter of personal taste than anything. Quality of Presentation: 4/5. Nice cutscene visuals and great character designs. However, the visuals of the rooms themselves were of much lower quality. Additionally, certain puzzles were rather glitchy; the touchscreen input isn't very responsive at times, but nothing severe that a couple extra taps couldn't solve. Overall, a pretty good game. I ended up enjoying the story more than the actual escape game, though... That last cutscene was especially memorable and very touching, indeed.

I usually don't leave reviews but this is the best story I've ever experienced in an escape game. It really drew at my emotions and was a real tearjerker in a couple places. The gameplay was a lot of fun and it wasn't just random clicking of objects. The last couple levels are very hard compared to the beginning but the hints are very helpful if you get stuck.

Great game! Had fun playing it. I got so immersed in the story and puzzles I was a bit disappointed the game ended so quickly. It's like reading a visual novel with a nice, touching story while thinking hard to solve challenging puzzles. Kudos to the dev! Please make more games like this one, perhaps a combination of interactive visual novel with different endings and puzzle escape game, and make it a bit longer.

Extremely enjoyable experience! Characters you care about, gripping story, gameplay elements challenging enough to be entertaining, but not too difficult to the point of tedium. I really appreciate the whole game being available without having to pay (just 30s ads on starting a new chapter, and if you use the optional hints ) The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that there is room for improvement in the translation to English (it's not too bad though :] )

The story is great, but the gameplay is kinda frustrating because some instructions are not clear unless you ask for hint. There's also poor UI, it doesn't tell you whether you unlock something or not because the game doesn't tell you anything. Also the timed section with math puzzles is utterly annoying. Sorry but I deleted the game before finishing it.

very well done escape game. The puzzles are tricky but not impossible, the hints are helpful. The whole game is free, hints are given for watching short ads. The story line is beautiful but some of the translation is weird or misspelled, but you can still understand the story just fine. Very fun game with a lovely, sad story.

This game has no overall rules explained for the puzzles. Sure, finding the rule is part of the fun but not when the instructions are unclear. There is no consistency, they seem like random puzzles put together in a game by someone with little grasp of the English language. The story is not that veridic, so overall, not impressed. The add blocking part of the screen was also a big turn off.

The puzzles are not too hard but still interesting and the story is lovely. Some puzzles could use a bit more explanation (there are a few that use gestures, which isn't obvious at first). I'd give it five stars if the English translation were a little better and the typos were fixed. If you can overlook that, it's a great short puzzle game.

Great game, very well done. Points to consider, though: On the 4th+5th chapters I had some bugs, even had to start over the 5th chapter because it turned black screen on me (seems like some data problem?) Also the English is bad and sometimes makes it difficult to get what the text means. But still - excellent adventure with unique and challenging puzzles, Thanks for a good job!

This game is absolutely amazing! It has an unexpected twist and really touches the heartstrings. The characters are likable that it is too easy to get attach to them. Some spelling errors are to be addressed but still understandable somewhat. I can forgive the errors because this is such a good story. The part with Dan winking at the end though. I love this! 10/10, go play it!

Phenomenal!! Interesting plot and complex puzzles, love the storyline. Beautiful storytelling with pretty graphics, especially bearing in mind that this is a free game. The ad on the top left blocks a bit of the screen, but it wasn't a serious handicap at all. Would be nice to shift it, tho

Cool story, decent puzzles. English translation is pretty bad, but at least good enough to follow what's happening. Unskippable ads between stages (so 6, total), but that's pretty much it. Didn't feel excessive or intrusive at all. Devs have to get payed somehow, right? All in all, very good.

storyline was great! almost cried at the end. the puzzles were good. the timed one stressed me out but it was pretty realistic, took me a second try to figure how i was supposed to be nailing the wood. only issue is the item descriptions sometimes covered up graphics behind it and the back button was too close to the puzzle. warning - ads before each chapter (your can actually exit the ad with no consequence but you should still watch it to support the makers!)

Heart touching story with a nice twist. Great music and art. The puzzles are more challenging than other similar games I have played (like rusty lake series) which was really exciting but sometimes ended in "face walling". I still don't know how the alphabet device was solved... But anyhow, I really loved it and will be waiting for more awesome games from this team.

One of the most satisfying puzzle/escape games I have ever played. And I play puzzle games A LOT. The puzzles are directly related to the story, which makes for an immersive experience. If you like escape room games definitely check this out. I've recently started Frankenstein; the company's their newest game, and it's just as good (maybe even better if you like gothic/mystery themes) Please keep up to great work!

Adventure games ought to be about logical thinking and working out clues. The game met this up to the level with the hammer (although the pumpkin peeling was tricky). The hammer level is timed game which relies on speed and quick reflexes; unfortunately I lack the necessary ability to complete. It is not possible to 'skip' the level so further game progress not possible. Game uninstalled.

Not bad game, but I still can't say that it's the best that I have ever played. Especially after I couldn't finish 4 case just because when I tried to place flower pots in right order, the screen is becoming black and I couldn't finish the game. 😑Slightly disappointed, especially when characters design is good.

I did need to cheat a bit for a few difficult parts, but it was a really fantastic game. I love how the game builds up it's story it's free. It's definitely worth it since it only uses advertisements as an income, the ads aren't distruptive. I love it as a whole, since the story is a really beautiful one. Will be waiting for another one

I had no patience to read the story so I skipped them entirely. Some interesting puzzles, but some of them were poorly formulated (spelling errors, also) and even the hints were not enough, so I had to google some walkthroughs. All in all, a nice way to spend a couple of hours for the lovers of the genre.

Another amazing game I was a little more prepared to nearly cry at the end of this one as it was clear from the start our main character had a tragic end. When I played Frankenstein I was completely caught off guard by the bittersweet ending and I cried through the last chapter. Having so much math in the timed chapter was stressful! But I don't think I've ever played a game with a chapter quite like that and the immersive effect was amazing! I can't say enough good things about your games!!!

Great game, everything works pretty smoothly until I get to the simple game where you have to use the shotgun to open the door....I have it aimed at the door, tried to hit the button..but nothing. Not sure if touch command is off but I know it's in the right position, I double checked a walkthrough. Please fix this.

I usually don't write reviews but this game deserves one. The puzzles and riddles are well thought out and really challenges you. Each chapter makes you crack your head to solve the mystery and unravel the story. I gave it a 4 because there are major spelling mistakes and grammatical errors in the dialogues. The story has a good flow, with a fulfilling ending that can make you teary. I enjoyed this game, thumbs up to the developers, just need to be more thorough in the dialogue part.
