This is possibly one of the most captivating games that I have ever played. The game itself is not a long one by any means, nor would I consider this to be exceptionally difficult or challenging, but for me, this just adds to the experience. The ambient music in combination with the hand-drawn style graphics go hand-in-hand to make the perfect, relaxing, and eerie feeling that makes me want more. The puzzles are fun, small minigames that may pull you for a loop, and there is no ads to annoy you with your activities. This game, to me, is a perfect example of what people truly want from a game, and not what companies create off-hand to gain some extra money.
Some other reviews seem unnecessarily harsh. I think what you've made is quite nice - in the same vein as mine escape or the isoland series. I like the graphic design, and the puzzles make sense, though the size of the map makes them a little bit too easy. In fact the size is the one criticism I understand - it finishes a bit too quickly - I'd barely 'got into it' when it was all over. Perhaps it's a reasonable introduction to this type of game for younger children?
Not that challenging but, good way to kill 20 minutes. Visually was nice; very clean. Really liked the sounds and music. Controls were fine (though during the gears puzzle, it was a bit buggy). Again, none of these puzzles were particularly hard. But it was still fun.
This took me about 5 minutes to finish. It's a good start, though! I like the atmosphere. The puzzles need a little work to be challenging. It needs filling out, mainly. A full island with lots of places to explore would be great. I wouldn't mind a little mystery and jump scares, too:) Good concept!
A little short but a lovely game! Puzzles were not difficult which is disappointing but if you are new to puzzle games this is an excellent place to start. The art style is lovely as well. I would love a longer version :)
What the hell is this game. It took only 5mins to win it. You could have a puzzle at the ship or memories of reaching the light house etc. But in case it is a good game for beginners. And I recommend it to the beginners
Far too short... I really loved the concept but this felt more like a demo than a full length game. The graphics were beautiful and simple, the puzzles were clever and the storyline was unique but the game controls were a bit glitchy.
Wow that was over in the blink of an eye... Pretty easy too. I love point and click adventures so maybe I am just used to what items are needed but still it was pretty obvious. Would be useful as a game for complete point and click beginners I guess.
Nice graphics, but there were only about 3 puzzles beyond the usual collecting stuff. It was pretty short and the very first bit of text had broken English. It has potential but way too short as is.
I liked it. That was exactly as long as I needed it to be. I just wanted to solve something but not have to play for weeks. I had a bit of nostalgia for the old Myst game on pc... different graphics, but same lonely, puzzling feeling. ^_^
Was really great i loved the style of the game and the puzzles but it was just too short , for someone who is used to play escape games like rusty lake. I know i shouldn't compare this game to a high quality level game like rusty lake but the length is very short or else i would have given 5 stars
Great concept, ad-free hints, not too difficult and not too easy. The only downside is that it's way too short. I hope more levels to be developed even if it means there'll be ads.
Nice, but it's really just one short level. Pleasant art style. Shows potential for the development team to do a larger project well.
It's okay. Nothing special to be honest. The game is too short for my taste and there are only two puzzles that are very similar and not hard at all. Took me only few minutes to finish it.
Completed in about 10 minutes or less and was bemused it ended so quick without doing anything really challenging, but it is a free game and cleanly made.
Really nice but very brief little puzzle game. Lovely art and logical puzzles; feels like a solid proof-of-concept and I'd like to see what the developer makes next.
Short and sweet with clean simple graphics. Some challenging puzzles, some simple. Hopefully they'll create even more levels
Much too short and the puzzles are too easy for my taste, it took me not even five or ten minutes to get through the whole thing. Otherwise, the graphics are cute.
Painfully easy and boring, took me 7 minutes in total. Not up to the level of escape games currently available. Maybe if you make the island more interactive and add levels
Good game. It was a good game I ran into a issue on the boat puzzle I did it correctly but it wasnt letting me move on. Other than that good game just couldnt finish it.
VERY short, predictable. Finished in 5 minutes. Liked the direction but not long enough and puzzled are very easy
Very very short game. Only took a few steps to escape. Game is buggy with navigation.
A nice little indy game. Just needed a bit more puzzles that were didn't feel bolted onto the game. Still good by comparison.
Graphics are decent and concept is good but I completed the game in about 10 minutes!
More!! Great little game, makes you think. Clever areas. Needs lots more to do. But still had fun.
As a proof of concept, this was a great game. I hope more levels are being developed. The artistic sketches and the ambient sounds were great. The puzzles were nice and not easy but not difficult either (if you do make more levels, these need to be toughened). But perhaps, the most important thing that needs to be improved is the game play. The controls were janky and didn't respond very well. There was almost no feedback to give visual cues to the player.
