Escape Through History

Omg, would like to make a very important explanation to those players playing the game from the beginning every time, all you have to do is tap on the word "levels" and you can continue from your last level. Loved the game, free and offline 15 levels, each level designed in two rooms so no chance to get lost, use both your eyes and brain to solve the interesting puzzles.

Even though I prefer more challenging puzzles, I enjoyed this one because it was a well executed concept: minimal but effective design that fitted the time traveling experience. Relaxing background music. Some room for improvement regarding clarity of picked up items (often I couldn't recognise the object) and leaving through doors (why must I first press back?). But good clean fun. Nice first impression.

Dull. I love history and I love escape games, so this sounded perfect. But it has nothing to do with history. For example: the first scene is a luxury ship cabin. It tells you that you are on The Titanic. Then you click a few bits, unlock the cabin door (which is locked in a very random way!) and that's it. The history part is utterly irrelevant. Might as well be on the Moon. Deleted.

Free! with minimal and very reasonable and appropriate ads. The puzzles are challenging without being impossible and though the game is a little short it would be churlish to give less than 5 stars for the fun it gave me. I hope the promise of more levels to come is delivered.

Basic and simple, though it could use a story, an ultimate objective, or extra characters to chase or work alongside. A sense of urgency would make the game much more compelling. So far, however, it is looking good.

Fun! Played this with my tweens. The clues made sense so with some thought & ex exploration we were able to solve the puzzles. It was perfect! We dislike ones that make giant leaps between clues & answers. Can't wait for more levels =).

Hard to recognise the objects, and some of the puzzles don't make sense.not much going on in the rooms, generally not a great game. I will try a little bit longer and get rid of it.

Hard to tell what items are because they are badly drawn. With such bad artwork the item name should come up when tapping in the inventory. Scenes are uninspiring with very little to explore.

Basic but interesting.why does it say save and exit option if it will always star you from the beginning. Opted for that reason so can do bits when time allows. Not worth keeping app if no true save feature.

Fun, logical, and easy enough. Some games like this are so frustrating that I get angry (*cough*haiku escapes) this is more logical and helps out without asking me to spend money on hints. Levels are a bit short and wish there was more to go on with, finished in one sitting. Any word on the frequency of new level releases?

Well it's a good game I'll give you that. But add more levels. And make another (escape through history part two) where you are time traveler detective. I'd like to play that.

Great game. I wish there were more levels or a #2 game. I would definitely pay for extra levels.

Not easy, challenging but not impossible so no need to give up. Very enjoyable and hope new levels will be released soon.

I recall playing this when it first came out, over 2 years ago. Although the levels are fairly easy, I enjoyed it and wish they had already added more levels

Every time I go on it starts me back at the beginning of the game and after trying several times I uninstalled it. The puzzles are fine.

Interesting puzzles. Controls were wonky and the graphics poor. Needs refinement otherwise would be nice.

Really like this game but after a number of times of having to start again from the beginning due to there not being a save facility I've had enough unfortunately - sorry devs.

its perfect for beginners. not for those who are looking for challenges. it was too simple and too easy !

Terrible game. Hard to click on some of the things to get them to activate. Cannot check inventory to see what you have. Weird game play. Will be deleting

This is a series of very small escape rooms. You are so limited on what you can interact with in each room, it's not hard to work out what to do. Finished very quickly.

I enjoy the time line concept of this game. There is so much more history that could added to this. Please keep updating this app, I truly love it!!!!

Poor graphics, incredibly simple, and too short & no story. Maybe an escape game for a young child

Level 6, the clue doesn't work, when you push the book "Spain" nothing happens. All these escape games are the same, complicated clues & you have to watch walkthrough on YOUTUBE or internet

The google level was horrible, there are times you just have to tap randomly to find an area. Poorly made

It's a fun game that incorporates combining multiple clues for a single solution. It's very enjoyable!

Game is pretty good.. Rooms are nice.. Only the sad part is... Everytime you open this game to play you have to start from level1 which is annoying.. Rest all is FINE

The graphics was excellent. Just wished there were more levels.

Very simple - for children. Spent 20 minutes to complete. No challenge.

It was a nice game. But, I had to close the game to take a break, when I opened it up again I had to start over. I was at about the third door. I did manage to finish.

I like this game a lot. It keeps you thinking. It is a great game to keep you entertained, especially if you need to be doing something to pass some time.
