I've been using this camera and app for a few years now and have had no problems with it. In fact it works better than another more expensive cctv camera I have. Customer service is also excellent.
I like the application and it works goods when the application is open. I am however experiencing a problem with the application when it is closed and not in use. My phone (device maintenance) keeps alerting me that the application is unstable, and closes it. App Issue Report shows me that the app is continually crashing (about 5 times daily).
I lost full screen capability, each time I try it just resets the whole app🤔. Also before i could move from one screen to the app and away and back without having to restart the sign in but now i have to wait for it to relaod the sign in.whats up with that?? But anyways this is a great tool.
Spent a fair bit of money on the camera and sd card. I have hard wired the camera for smooth internet connection. I am finding that the app is very slow giving a live camera feed if it connects at all....! It's very frustrating. Also 9 times out of 10 my messages fail to load.
Utter garbage. Cannot connect to camera or even get the app to advance to the qr code stage of the connection process. This apps total failure to function at even the most basic level means that the camera we bought is nothing more than a paper weight. Avoid at all costs!
Anyone else's camera constantly time out and lose connection, and is not able to reconnect on it's own? The camera has to be restarted each time????? Also, anyone know if there is a desktop version of the app? Quality is good otherwise. Great for watching my puppy :)
I've had no problems with this cam.. Saw slot of reviews stating app crashes after update.. If your app closes ON ANDROID.. Go to settings then apps.. Select app then go into DATA SETTINGS.. Click BACKGROUND DATA USE to the ALWAYS setting and you should be ok.. If it's set to NEVER the app will close whenever you close it just like YOUTUBE without the subscription....
Used to be fine, but lately theres a lot of background noice. Never used to be there. And the timer freezes for a few seconds, then jumps to where its supposed to be. The app gets shittier and shittier. Video quality has also gone down.
The app is still working without any problems which is great. I notice that the cameras are no longer available on Amazon.co.uk which is a pity. I also wish that the company would produce an actual outside version of the ip ptz camera possibly with 4 white lights to enable colour at night. Thanks.Michael.
Keeps going off my network. Sometimes says check the network but everything is ok with my network. I guess you get what you pay for. Before Christmas I had a faulty hub, replaced it with new smart hub, but so bleddy smart it won't now work eith the camera. I've tried everything suggested on various forums. the online help is very poor, they reply same message in Chinese. not impressed now but it worked pretty good on my old router once I got it connected.
Connected to their video doorbell. Any motion sets off the notification. Cannot find any setting to turn it off. For the price I've paid, I'm severely disappointed.
Got this notification about a service agreement change when I opened up the app today. No, you don't need all that information and you are sure not getting it from me. The camera and the app will go in the trash.
App refuses to connect to the camera, so I have no way of configuring or remotely viewing it. Luckily, the camera DOES record to SD card, so there's that I suppose. Not impressed.
Overall works ok. Would be nice to have an option of changing screen contrast, night vision is a bit foggy and quick auto-contrast would fix the problem.

I didn't know how to use it at the beginning, but I found it quite convenient to use it a few times. As long as the network is open, the connection with the product is very stable, so that I can see the situation at home anytime and anywhere, not bad! ! !
It went from working fine to timing out all the time or just not connecting. We use to be able to view from multiple devices at 5he same time to now only one person at a time.
Motion detection is not all that great was hoping it would be more like the Alfred App where in still screen sends you a notification as soon as it detects movement within the screen.
Wont let me log back in. It says to tick the agreement but there is no box to check.
Tried to add camera but unable to via Wifi or any other means... I plugged in ethernet cable hopeful to get it configured via LAN as per instruction but the option isn't shown in the app... what gives?
Thanks for the response. I hear what you say, but why cant I arm the camera then. When I want to arm the canera a red banner pops up and state that the firmware is to old need to download the new. Going to camera specs on the app I see the upgrade button but there is no respond when clicking to update.
All i get is a snapshot image. Paid extra for cloud storage and constant playback failed. No contact for developers no point guess its what i get for buying an amazon cheapy
Works really well, when it works, the issue with this app is if you have ANY fluctuations in the WiFi signal, you have to disconnect and reconnect to get it to connect to camera again. This is an error in the app as does the same on OnePlus 6t, note 8 and on emulator on windows laptop. If this gets sorted then 5 star!
