The recent update still won't let me see photos, only texts. I can only see white squares. I hope this will be fixed soon as I found it unusable.
Ecency support team promptly resolved my sign up problem. My apologies to Ecency for making a harsh sounding review earlier, not realizing the problem was due to bots.
I can't sign in on the app after trying so many times... It's saying password not matched, I used password key sent to my mail on browser and it works well but on the app is other way round...
Why is no cover photo of any posting? I'll suggest you to add that feature.
App takes a bit of getting used to. I was quite surprised to see they still take beneficiary rewards, but the tokens usually make up for that! The comments on your profile load someone elses. Upvote/downvote buttons are a little too small. I think notifications should be cleared automatically after I've viewed them, as I sometimes forget to click the little tick. Although I say all this, the app is still great, these are just a few things I would love to see improved/worked on. I would recommend the app as it is constantly being improved and I'm sure the above will be fixed/improved soon.

The Ecency Application stopped working some days ago. The problem came with the latest update. I can't use the application to vote and even write currently. I need your help.
Best front end for Hive on Android, hands down.
My experience with minor bugs is what gives me the initial order to give it 4 and not 5 stars, however, the dev team are always responsive in Hive network and on their discord server and help out new comers starting out. The app is free and does not charge a dime to use. no ads. if it weren't for the minor bugs it would be a perfect score. I give it total of 4.5 stars. .5 more for their continued efforts to improve where needed.
App is great. Only problem I've really had is that it starts to lag after using it for awhile. So probably some memory issues? Also powering up steem from the wallet does not work. It's the same screen as transfer.
The dev team has made a lot of progress and with the removal of beneficiary reward requirements makes this a much more competitive Hive chain app not to mention the slew of useful features. I am currently experiencing an issue receiving delegation credits with one of my alts but am confident the team will be able to get me taken care of in short order. Will update when they do. Pathetic. Beautiful app. Loads of functionality promised. But not for blogging, because after two or three posts - over a full month - one keeps getting the error message when wanting to publish a new post: 'Not enough resource credits', and then the app wants you to pay for credits. That despite the app saying I'm fully charged up with sufficient 100% credits. A terribly misleading network, and guaranteed to put off every serious blogger. I'm inclined to stick to SteemIt and Read instead.
I was using this App for a minute, now I update and it crashes and freezes my phone (Samsung Galaxy Note 9, Adroid 9). I have had issues in past, but not like this. Great when it worked, no time to worry about getting it to work; thanks for the fun. Later gators.
It crashed on my phone. I just signin in the app. At first it was laggy and then suddenly it closed down and stopped working. I am using android version 8. Other than that it looks like a great app. Hope you will fix the bug soon.
App looks clean & well designed but I'm having issue with pin code. Always get "Invalid pin" warning screen. Tried multiple times by clearing cache and re-login. Result is always same. Rest of the stars after this issue is resolved. I'm on Android 9 by the way.
This is the best app I've used so far on the steem block chain. It just makes it easy to create and format posts with inbuilt centre, bold, italics etc options. This is very useful for newbies who join the platform and have no idea of the commands to use to format their posts. The app also rewards its users handsomely. I live this app and I can say personally that it is the best and my favourite dapp.
Needs some serious work! Very buggy, can't edit my profile, can't even sign in some days.

I always longed for a mobile app to blog because I do not have a computer. The moment I heard about Esteem app, I plunge into without thinking much. So handy for a mobile user and it has a lot of features too. Besides getting Encouragement Vote (support), you get ESTM token too. And more to come... This app is easier to use as it allow picture upload and review, gives point to boost post, secured and reliable.
I must confess, ecency is my best dapp on hive. It features are easy to you and provides benefits that other dapp doesn't give. The continual improvement is something I appreciate about them
I have turned off all animations and it still takes over 1 minute to load any page I click on, nearly pointless to use as it would take over 5 minutes to access a feed and interact with it.
My eSteem points are just gone. I've been using this app for like 2 months. Plus there is no more daily spin,it says something like:next date in unavailable. I like the post format and community. Edit 1: Everthing is fixed in today's update !
This app is easy to use and has a really good look to it. eSteem is for me and for everyone. I was looking and looking at better ways to use my new Steem acount and eSteem had the solution I was waiting for.
Constantly being signed out of the app due to the error or glitch of pin reset while using the app. Some functions work and end up failing due to pin again.
Terrible. For posting an article or even making a comment they demand money I don't have. The app doesn't tell you what is wrong and you are pushing bottoms again and again. UX writing is very poor and you only lose your time. Seemit is much better.
Two year ago i joined steemit. Now i'm using eSteem mobile .esteem app is best to get every notification of steemit. eSteem is one of the best app. I'm using it to write my post. It is one of the best app to earn best reward from steemit site . I will highly recomend to all those who love to earn on steemit . My first and last choice is esteem mobile app.
It is a pretty good app but I can neither upload nor see any photos. I had to write my blog on a different platform so that I can upload the photos and then copy+paste everything at ecency because the other platform takes forever to publish. It's really a hassle. I already emailed but no reply yet. I hope it can be fixed soon.
