eStories - Audiobooks

Love the app. Was able to upload 18 books. But there is a problem that needs addressed. when I scan to upload more, it will eventually freeze on me. The screen will just lock. I'll have to close the app completely then restart just to use it. I tried uninstalling and then reinstalling. Didnt fix it. can you fix this pleeeeeeeease!!!!!

I love this app! Beautiful and functional. One issue: for some reason the "sleep timer" only goes up to 30 minutes. I tried the "end of chapter" option instead (with a longer chapter), but that just seems to run down the timer and then keep playing anyway. (?) To be honest I got this mostly for the sleep timer (covid insomnia!) so I wish there were a few basic-seeming options. And I realize there are third-party apps to kill the phone's overall volume, but I'm ALSO using white noise to block out street noise all night. Sigh. Anyone who's not super specific / picky in this department will love eStories!!!

This could be a great app, but it will not cast to Google Home, which was the only reason for trying it. Also it crashed while uploading a book. I now have dozens of unfinished individual files cluttering my library and can find no way of deleting anything from the cloud,or wherever they are stored. Help appreciated.

Customer service is terrible. I accidentally purchased a title and noticed immediately after. I tried to call them. They have no phone number listed on their website. I wrote an email instead. I got a reply email saying they are processing my request then nothing. It has been almost two weeks and no communication. Edit: I just realized that they did give me a free credit. I would have preferred my money back since the book cost over 2 mo worth of the subscription. I have yet to receive notice.

The idea behind this app is fine but how it is applied is flawed. Uploaded audiobooks play in random order, difficult to upload and things are unclear as to why it keeps uploading the same books. The sound is clear and it's easy enough to use. Positions are kept after use but there I still some work to do to make this app totally usable.

I know I recently paid for two months of credits, but I have no credits in my account, and I'm not a member anymore when I logged on. On top of it, I'm having trouble contacting support to get it fixed and figured out. I'm not sure what to do because this company can be better value than Audible for some good audio books. Also, I like all the free classics.

Too buggy 😠😠😠 Maddening how often this app has playback problems. Or, it'll become unresponsive and just continues playing until it's forcefully closed. Also, wouldn't give a refund for a subscription renewal I didn't realize was still renewing. I asked for the refund of unspent credits two days after the charge. They refused.

Varied collection and the upload service is amazing! Please please give us a dark theme and user defined variable payback speed, as not all narrators speak at the same tone. 1.25 is too fast for certain books, give us the option to choose the speed. Great service overall! Also, let us delete whats in our library. Thanks.

Works fine on my phone, but not on my tablet. Audible works just fine. UPDATE: All it took to get it up and running was an update. So the app is now working fine. Content was always great.

Upload takes forever, download doesn't work, playing the audiobook doesn't work!!! On top of that, the app crashes often. Zero stars, don't bother with it!!!

Sleep timer options are awful, not a very big selection of audio books, and you can't purchase pre releases. Shoot, overdrive, the app my library uses to stream audio books is better.

Good book selection but runs slow. Player is temperamental and when you download to play offline it takes forever. Price is less than audible but you get what you pay for.

Always loved the app. But I am facing an issue casting to my android TV. It keeps crashing on TV, and doesn't have sound. Worth 5 stars, but need help before that

Love estories! Great prices. Works perfectly on every device! I'm hoping for more books as this company grows. I like helping a smaller company compete with the monopoly: audiobooks.

After the last update I can't open the app, I tried to reinstall it again, but now it won't let me sign in at all. It shows "unexpected error". And I can't even open the website from my laptop, but you keep taking my money every month. How can I even cancel then?

Love the app and the selection. My only recommendation would be to allow to save audiobooks on the SD card as well as the cell phone.

I've loved this app before.. But it now, its glitchy when it comes to saving bookmarks... It always says "unexpected error, pls try again". But it never solves itself.

Great Experience! I have been using there service for over 8 years. The app has gotten better and better.

Lost a credit due to cancellation and contacted CS but was ignored. Wasted my money. Extremely poor customer service.

App keeps crashing also would like to be able to organize books into folders for matching series

The audio quality of the two audiobooks I bought is terrible and my email was ignored.

eStories has a great selection. The downside is that it is difficult to cancel.

App crashes when I touch the pause button, terrible.
