If you are yet to use Etax, you are missing alot. These guys had been helpful and they never let their clients down. HONEST, SIMPLE TO USE PLATFORM, AND PROFESSIONAL VETTING BEFORE LODGEMNEMT. I recommend this app. 100%
cannot even log on with email password and sms. makes me nervous about the rating 1 comments about losing data. not great start to trust required to rely on the app.
Please people don't get sucked in and think that you're only going to get charged $39.90-$69.50 like me then get sprung with almost an $100 fee for a simple tax return... Not impressed at all and no comment from them when I confronted then over the price. Never EVER will I consider using them again... Total rip.
Horrible Tax Company Didnt include any of my deductions i spent time putting throught, and then they charge a ridiculous rate for putting through the return when they dont even try to help you. Would give no stars if possible.
Spent half an hour uploading documents and "saving" them. Closed app and lost them all. . .terrible app, and I can't upload on website anymore?

Didn't even work because it said I needed to put an accurate amount into the HELP field which required me to add cents which was not allowed

Simple to use
This App is such a pain to use for e.g, if you want to upload documents you can't you can only take a snap shot of it. Seeing as everything is digital these days you think they would allow you to simply upload a document. Now I have to print out documents and then photograph it and then upload it.
Uploaded receipts but they disappear everytime the app closes, good job very efficient
The worst app ever!
Was sent an email telling me my return was longed. Didn't actually get lodged in till 8 days after I was sent the email. Don't use thus app it's a waste of money and it will take you months to get your return.
Attach files it don't work I press it and dose not open. Can't put my pay summary or receipts as they are saved to phone. E tax has lost me this year and the rest of my family's tax . Waste of time
Every time I save receipts, the next time I open the app they have all been deleted. This is not at all reliable.
Won't load images, tap load does nothing. Wasted my time.
Absolutely rubbish very confusing very high fees and 100 of questions if you start you stuck bad luck
Stupid stuff around. When lodging there is no button or option to add files, you can only add a photo the button send you straight to your camera. How am i ment to add payg from an emailed sender? Next year i wil be using elodge where they have the option to add files and photos.
All of my receipts were wiped off the app. Thanks Guys!
This app doesn't tell you have to pay until you have added every single deduction
Skeptical at first..but it turned out to be better than I thought.
It's a scam they ripped me of for over $1000.
just quickly jumped off the app mid way through doing my tax return and jumped back on and message says tax only available on june 2016 :/
The app froze or crashed several times while I was flipping back and forth to email, banking apps and the like, and even when it does keep running between app switches, you start back at step one in the wizard and have to tap Next a bunch of times to find your place. Also the only way to attach docs is by taking a photo, but that's no good when your docs are electronic. Nonetheless it got the job done for another year.
Why can't I use saved PDF files? Do I actually have to print them first?
I can't get my phone to work properly, let alone use the app.. Once it's registered as installed on one device, I can't install it on a second device. The whole etax website appears efficient and implies speedy tax return completion, but only provides a carefully disabled user interface. It is difficult to upload necessary receipts and documents beforehand as the website implies you can. Therefore the speedy completion of your tax return is also professionally unavailable. The real problem is that there is no third party to complain to and only etax representatives controlling the website and available downloads. It is not the only website I have difficulties with, I can't get an accurate statement from my on-line broker either. Only half of my securities are listed on Computershare or Sharesight! The web is becoming more unweildly I find, like the instability of a uranium nucleus...
