ETC is the flagship journal of the Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry (SETAC). The journal integrates the fields of environmental toxicology; environmental, analytical, and molecular chemistry; ecology; physiology; biochemistry; microbiology; genetics; genomics; environmental engineering; chemical, environmental, and biological modeling; epidemiology; and earth sciences. ET&C publishes papers describing original experimental or theoretical work that significantly advances understanding in the area of environmental toxicology, non-chemical ecological stressors, environmental chemistry and hazard/risk assessment. This includes subjects dealing with the harmful effects of a wide range of chemical, biological and physical stressors on organisms, populations, communities and ecosystems.

This app works as advertised, and has a clean interface for easy reading, navigating, and saving recent articles. Figures are surprisingly clear on the small screen. Some aspects are even better than the regular online version: one sign in with SETAC membership and full text is available in subsequent sessions, no need to reenter. Downsides: (1) Search is quirky; (2) content starts with the Oct-2015 issue; (3) references to other ET&C articles don't open in the application, have to manually browse to them.
