ETCL PREMIER CRICKET LEAGUECricket is not just a game. It is an educational opportunity for players to learn many essential ingredients of social behavior: personal achievement, team co-operation, ambition, leadership, respect for umpires, captains, and respect for rules. You learn so many “life skills” by playing Cricket!!ETCL was founded in 2010 to make a difference by distinguishing, re-positioning & re-branding Community Cricket through a well-run professional league. In doing so we anticipate that Grass Root Cricket to produce extreme talent and will strengthen the English Cricket. ETCL has re-branded its name during 2014 and now it is called “ETCL PREMIER CRICKET LEAGUE” which has opened up wider community participation. Now we have 2 major categories under one league banner namely; OPEN & CONNECT categories ETCL has been a breath of fresh air in terms of its commitment, approach and behavior ETCL is expected to have over 25000 connections within the next few years and There are things that are sometimes left undone and there are things that can be left sometimes unsaid but you can't ever ignore the passion and dedication of the ETCL Founders The board & committee members of the ETCL Premier league are fully committed to the development of Grass Route Cricket, to the ongoing progress of the league, and to its improvement in all areas.
So the commitment is; Summer Cricket League & Winter Cricket League In order to Clubs to gain a tangible reward or avoid negative consequences
- We will work with them closely Promote and develop our young players to national level /standards Arrange coaching camps to all players – i.e. Linking up with MRF foundation in Chennai, Srilanka or other venues Invite international coaches to our training sessions Umpire Qualifications to be granted by ETCL and work with ECB & MCCHow ETCL differs from other leagues? It is a unique league involving and engaging the community Focusing on younger generation, their needs and development Showing differentiation advantage for clubs and growth factor Our vision for the league is not just to promoting ONE community but the idea is integration within other communities T20 matches, Annual Cricket Festival & Cric Awards will promote ETCL as a brand & imageETCL is the natural place for ambitious Community Teams in England to start their progress towards becoming finest Cricket Clubs. By progressing through the divisions the clubs can aspire to play at the highest level.Here are the major advancements;ETCL has won an award recently as the fastest growing Cricket League in the UK and now stepping up to the next level where the league opens up for wider community participation. Our League Rules ensures that we want to;1. Want to avoid any discrimination's and unnecessary barriers 2. Want to give an opportunity of our NEXT GENERATION be able to participate and challenge in a fair playing fieldWhat’s the excitement / future?The future looks bright… We have created a membership program to accommodate all Cricket lovers. As an ETCL’s Associate & Corporate Member (ACM) you would be treated as our VIP in all our events and which allows you to enjoy all the attractions of benefits.In summary, ETCL will be bigger than last year and will go to the next level in terms of community development and providing opportunity to all.How a cricket sponsorship can be developed further with us? With awareness levels reaching almost distribution point, sponsors may look beyond awareness, and look to leverage their sponsorship's. But for us it’s all about build on the positive impressions reported towards sponsors and develop meaningful relationships between them and their clients enabling them to see how a sponsorship can benefit them, both as cricket fans, and as consumers using that brand.
