Unable to open app. App asked to register with Google account details but it fails to pickup details and says authentication failed.

An insult to users and a waste of time.
Cannot log in, receive "authentication failed" notification every time I've attempted to log in/create an account and get going. I'll change my rating once this issue is resolved.
