The latest release 1.6.0 is very very veeery slow and unresponsive, I just can't use the app anymore, clicking on anything literally takes 10 to 20 seconds to respond. Edit: It was suggested on Twitter that re-installing the app after the update should fix it, I confirm that after re-installing the app, it is a lot faster now (even better compared to what it was before this 1.6.0 update). You might want to look into the upgrade process?
At first the app was good until I put crypto in my wallet. Now the app doesn't work at all. It has little to no stability and I can't even withdraw anything because I can't navigate through the app and no buttons work. Terrible just terrible/ update. I gave it another shot. it worked fine for a few days just long enough for me to get most of my funds off. But the app is trash. after months still no fix. it runs super slow and needs to be revamped completely.
Update: and now they are closing down the wallet in April completely. So all my coins will turn to dust. Can't remove my CS because it's been held hostage for a year or more. And all the other coins are in such small amounts that the gas prices are way more than the coin is worth. Was worthless from the beginning. Continues to be worthless. Just running away from their problems.
Have had hopes this app would've been a good fit to hold my crypto, unfortunately as they have partnered with Voyager, it has stopped updating anything as of 2019. To make matters worse, my ADA is being held hostage in with NO way of withdrawing to another wallet or exchange. Tried many means with no success. Customer support was no help as it took months for a reply, and still no resolve. I won't be dealing with this company nor Voyager as soon as I can find a way to rescue my ADA funds.
trying to send coins to an exchange is a nightmare. I select transaction speed but get error "charges would exceed current balance". the balance of the coin being $800+. I've been happy with the wallet up to now. I will update rating if/when sorted. *****Response much needed & much appreciated*****
Still cannot sign up or sign in to wallet? I enter the Username,email,password & confirm password. Then "sign in". Fill in username & password then sign in. Then I get "wrong credentials provided". Please assist. Thanks Thanks to the support team! Quick response & support has resloved all issues. Wallet up & running. Easy to use & navigate.
The team behind this app is very misleading and deceptive because they knew what they were doing to not allow people who pre-registered not to get any air drops by making you create a wallet before a certain time frame knowing that would eliminate some of the air drops that they will have to give away even if you can proved you have are you registered. I was very supportive of this app until this now I wouldn't recommend anyone to download or use this app!
Tried to send eth. Both time the transaction was dropped. I transferred some BTC over an hour ago. There are 9 confirmations. No sign of it in the wallet. It shows successfully withdrawn on the exchange. I'm sorry I chose this app.
Seems to have a major bug in Android 6, when it asks to set PIN and then to verify PIN, entering any digit brings up a "Done" screen. It turns out you can keep writing the number without seeing it, and Next finally shows the asterisks you typed, and you can do Next again.
App is great overall but I'm not giving it 5 stars because they just refuse to add the option to change the currency format to euro. Dollar is literally useless to me. I want to see it in a currency that doesn't require me to do a damn conversion every time I want to know the ACTUAL value of my crypto
It used to be good. But now lags a lot. I can't even open my wallet. Also it would be better if we can manually fill our gas prices, rather than the app calculating for us ( which is most of the times very high and is not required)
Can setup wallets for many different types of altcoins but still have to use a third party to exchange between coins. Most of my coins now held in the Ethos wallet =D However, it doesn't create a different address each time you make a new transaction. And if you try to setup wallets for ETH, GNO, MKR, DAI they all still use the same address as ETH. But note you can still use changenow.io to make exchanges between the different wallets that still use the same address. Sometimes even though a transaction is successful on the public blockchain network it doesn't always show up in the ethos wallet. The wallet has to be rescanned by sending a ticket to support. It would be nice to receive notifications when transactions are in the process/successful like Freewallet app. Watchfolio feature is just confusing to use. I just don't understand it. Needs a better guide/example/scenario of what to do (when to select buy or sell. what is qty of?). I do like the candle stick and graphs though.
Buying experience broken. Prompted to validate email. If one goes to a mail app on the phone to confirm, upon going back to ethos the buying process is no longer there. Would definitely result in an infinite loop, if I kept trying.
The best wallet out there, yes some glitches however have a great team ready 24/7 to deal with any issues and support. The best don't make it overnight, its steady, precise and well worth the wait for the perfect wallet
App was working fine for first few months now it won't update my portfolio or coin prices This app has huge potential and I believe in the team. But it has just been a let down. plenty of better crypto wallets out there that work. h Hopefully Ethos is able to fix these bugs with next update.
It keeps freezing. Money is safe but have had to reinstall a few times. Trying to dowmload to reinstall again but that has stalled. Crypto wallets eh? We really need a company with experience and reputation that does it all!!!
Great wallet and app... But for some reason it seems to be running really slow now! Takes ages to perform transactions and switching between screens? Otherwise would have been 4*. 5* if bch and xrp were in the wallets As well
Why is this wallet so Broken . When I login and try to see my coins it's says oops and asks me to contact support. When I try to contact support it doesn't recognize my email or password. I reinstalled the app and when I try to put in the 24 word password in I get as far as the second word and oops contact support .... Can you help me? Frustrated is a nicer way to put it.
I'm an early user and waited to leave review. The early version started out slow, however it has improved substantially in speed and preformance over time. Easy crypto storage and everything wallet. Thanks Ethos and look forward to future updates.
This app is crashing when i try to send a BTC transaction. I dont care how many tokens i can store if i cant even send BTC. This wallet crashes for random reasons all the time.
This app is the absolute WORST!!!! I downloaded the app and it kicked me out several times, didn't recognize the app commands, settings or wallet set up!!! I only had it for 10mins and it was the worst wallet experience EVER!!!
Got the wallet in 2018, held some coins and forgot about it. Logged in last week as I remembered I had some $zil in there. In the wallet it's shows as OLD.ZIL and will not let me transfer it out, basically I can't access my money. Support never replied to my email. STAY AWAY unless you want your coins to become worthless.
Advances by the dev team have turned this from a good wallet to an excellent wallet. Overall intuitive to use, Ethos supports a huge number of coins and tokens. Edit: It appears that this app has been abandoned by the devs....
This app is crashing and I can't log in. It almost logs me in flashes to wallet but the immediately jumps back to log in screen. What's going on? I'm not the only one with this issue!!
Just found out that vgx token did a swap, which lasted less than a month, moved my tokens from trust wallet to Binance exchange, to see my vgx tokens are reading invalid. Even to do the swap on binance exchange isn't available. So happens to the people that didn't get the notice join in on swap that lasted less a month. While some token swap last more than a year on binance at least, people can still swap BNB tokens on binance exchange. Why was vgx done in less than 1 month. Please the team shou
What is going on with the app!? I can't log in and support isn't working either! Some of my tokens are stuck in there and I can't withdraw them if I'm not allowed to log in :(
At first when the wallet was released, it was a big deception, it was slow, buggy . But now every updates are more and more exiting. The wallet gets faster and faster, easy to use, I think the team is doing a good job in that bear market. Just a little thing, we need update a little bit more often. And also more coins integration to be truly UNIVERSAL. You are getting my 5 stars to keep you motivated to deliver an outstanding product in the near future.
