Trying to avail my Amazon prime free subscription as it is a part of my elife bundle for more than two months but cannot get it due to Etisalat IT& App issues , they promised the issue will be resolved once the app has the newest update but it didn't work, i wasnt expected this from Etisalat. Not sure when it will be resolved Worst customer experience π
Both the app and website say they accept AMEX (American Express) cards. However it always gives an error. For MONTHS it still will not process an AMEX card. I've used multiple working American Express cards none go through. I don't even get a bank notification of it trying. I don't know why they advertise it...
Whats Awesome: Etisalat has the worlds fastest 5g Network money can buy. You can subscribe to a data plan that gives as little as 75Mb per day and 500Mb per month (Total 500Megabytes for 30 days) thats gone at 5G speeds, and once purchased there's no link or info to unsubscribe. Theres special promotion for online game "to win" that once closed promises to turn up again after a day. The Negatives: 'Social data' plans are designed to work at 2g speeds and theres no way to unsubscribe.
One of the worst apps I have come across from a regional leader in communication services. Constantly spamming with offers. Unable to pay bill. Same issue on iOS. Already uninstalled and installed and upgraded several times. Disappointing !
App is completely unusable. With Quick access, the app crashes immediately after getting SMS code. With login, ditto, app crashes after username/ password login. I am using S20, so it's a pretty solid phone. App should be taken down from Google Play store until fixed properly.
Etisalat has become the worst customer service with their automation. Got an SMS that an Add-on is going to renew the next day, to unsubscribe head on to the app. Checked the app, saw the Add-on, but no option to cancel. Did the chat virtual agent says no active subscription. Called 101 again virtual agent NO Active Subscription, had to beg the virtual agent 3 times to connect to a human. Finally she let me through, Human checks account - Yes there is a Add-on let me cancel it for you. 45 Mins
Apart from being able to pay bills. The app is useless. My Internet connection is beyond slow, and I get no assistance with either the app or the silly virtual assistant. Etisalat really needs to work on their customer services. It's shocking!
Why update so many times? Etisalat customer service number doesn't have English language menu. Im a customer for 5 years. Very frustrating. Live Chat doesn't let me chat to an advisor ever. Very annoyed π . Had to go to Etisalat shop 20km to sort accounts. They couldn't do it again gave me customer service number. Absolutely useless.π Doesn't happen in UK.
Many small glitches here and there make the app annoying. For example, I keep getting a prompt to active Smile, but when I do click the button, the activate action is greyed out and there is nothing I can do to make that call to action active again...
I'm glad I finally received a call from Etisalat that helped resolve the problem I was facing. I had subscriptions I wasn't aware of. My balance kept finishing without using it, but now there are no balance deductions. Thank you. I was also introduced to the new offers
This review is not about the app but about Etisalat. They generated my bill on 1st which is due on 15th. On the 10th they start sending me sms that the 'debt' i owe them must be paid immediately and if not paid it will affect my credit rating in UAE. I have been loyal customer of Etisalat since last 5 years and this is how they treat me! Really disgusted with such cheap messages from Etisalat.
The main issue which I am facing is I can't login again once it log out, after several trial required to get the credentials back with customer support followup.. So the would it be great if could make this application interface quite user friendly
hi I have a problem with my billing. I am trying to get through etisalat.but the call goes through a virtual advisor. who takes 1 hr to understand. I believe it is better to communicate with a real live person rather than computers. they dont know what we need. very upsetting π‘
My experience was very bad with Etisalat, they provided me with a very bad service, the signal device was installed, but the connection was weak, and when I submitted an official request to improve the service, they made me pay money for every visit made by the Maintenance, I was just shocked when I came to know that the first bill was due on me 792 AED
hi just wanted to try as to how we add a new landline number to existing post paid number for my friend. tried doing the same several times on my etisalat app . only the primary account mobile number is showing. the app is not useful in this regard. trouble shooting live chat is taking me in circles. need to pay the bill and do not know the exact amount. kindly call since human interaction is better.
I'm using postpaid line from 8 months and all bills paid on time but why I can't get a mobile device by smart payment plan? I don't use credit card it's my choice.
Absolutely great customer experience in paying bills from this app now that you have integrated with the phone's payment engine(Samsung Pay for me, expect it's the same for ApplePay as well) and for this update you get 4 stars.
I was trying to activate Amazon Prime for almost a month now. Every time I call customer service they have different answers. No one was able to solve the issue until now. I don't want to give even a single star.
Can't do anything in this app other than viewing balance. Can't add on data package neither cancel an active package. Everything needs to be done via MMI code. I wonder why this app exists.
Hope this will reach out everyonr. the poor client service and even more poor on handling complaints. Was just starting the service with Etisalat after 3 years with du. From day one of buying the sim card I've realised that was a mistake. No need to waste time to calling for complaints coz no one will handling and will keep on transferring you from to another.
Very poor application. Never works correctly and very poor execution. Safe to pay thru a kiosk or the bank.
Too slow and putting unnecessary options rather than useful ones. Expensive pay with poor connections.
We have taken elife ultra starter pack with Amazon prime.not able to set up Amazon prime.when I call customer care,it goes to AI.AI is not able to understand the problem..since 2 months Amazon prime is not activated,how muchever tried.why cant a real person answer the calls,atleast after knowing problem is not solved.they say technician visit will cost and it is a choice. Why cant a technician answer the call and solve the problem on phone
Just would like to ask one thing earlier in data usage tab. Breakdown of data usage for different apps was shown for ex: facebook consumed 100mb, whatsapp 56mb). But when i updated the app that feature is no more available. Is there any issue with my mobile ?. Or that feature has taken off from the app
All good but By this app I am unable to unsubscribe any of my plan call to customer service they will guide you that for unsubscribtion you can do from app but I didn't find any option in the my add on subscriptions area please π make correction or update in same option because only showing status active no unsubscription option
The app is usable now , and I can see the improvement in this app yet it needs more easy access to the account for multi accounts or multi numbers with same account which is kinda hard , I hope they fix this problem as well and not let the auto answering machines do the job for them which is very poor quality
The app is full of tricks to make you subscribe to packs you don't need, they keep pushing these subscription packs that won't close unless you click subscribe which automatically charges you monthly, they pretend its a glitch but reinstalling or updating the app doesnt fix it also they created an spin the wheel type game in the app which is impossoble to complete just to increase their app engagement daily. The subscription packs should not be added into the bill on 1 click, get confirmation!
