Euchre

Non-random card distribution ruins the experience. Developer denies it, but hands are pre-determined. You go on incredible winning streaks and then unrealistic losing streaks. There must be better alternatives than this. Follow-up: after trying it again it was actually worse! This has got to be the most unrealistic version of euchre ever created.

I don't want to say rigged, but after 6 rounds vs AI I'm 0-6. We'll be up 4 or 5 points and my teammate will make stupid calls, with only one card of the suit he picks. It's extremely annoying. It's also annoying how often AI gets the perfect suit card for their hand. It's getting pretty annoying to play.

Fun for a while. Becomes noticeably predtictable with games far too often starting with a loner, 2 loners in a row, jacks turning up, loners to end games when score is 9-6. Developer will deny but its true. Weird 'go under' rule changes the dynamic of real euchre play, making the app unrealistic overall if you're looking for proper euchre gameplay. Also, if you don't mute everyone, it's absolutely overrun with rude players and tons of Americans chatting lame politics...why???

Whatever sets the deals, algorithm or whatever, definitely is not random. You will say you don't load the game and I am a bad player, but your game is flawed. Uninstalled for good now. The administrators are tender little souls who can't handle criticism of any kind and refuse to improve the game. Last game: each opponent called and won loners, last hand I got was bad, used the go under, and ended up with all 9s and 10s. Game over in three hands. Bad luck? Nah, game manipulation! Playing god!

All in all pretty good, but the animation style when playing gets confusing and is really distracting. There's an option for online play with humans

App works great, but I agree with some other reviews; the algorithm for dealing cards doesn't work. You either get a great hand after great hand or 20 straight games of 10s and Q's. Doesn't matter the rating level, as has happened to me at a rating of 15, and at a rating of 60.

Been playing for a long time but, I have gone from 50 to 20 in less than a week or so. I think its rigged. I have more loosing streaks than winning streaks. Though you play real people, the cards dealt are one sided. When your up by 9 and everytime the opponent comes back and wins something isnt right.

this game is fixed for the oppitside. when i call it Rick has none. when Marta calls it, Jack is loaded. same when Jack calls it. Marta has lots. Rick always calls and has nothing, very seldom do i even have in my hand what he calls, and the same back. at this point i do not like this game anymore. i have reduced Ricks call amount and if this does not work, i am out of this game. please don't say it is all equal,and random. it is not.

I like the online play a lot, but I can't stand the 15 second time limit. It makes a round last so long when it's obvious some players aren't paying attention. I would play more often if not for that long time limit.

The online is terrible. Card distribution is terrible. There is always a lone hand if not 2 in every game. The games are usually very one sided.

It's a good app. It has some flaws, but no app is perfect. You can block players from being your partner and opponent. However, you cannot block players from only being your partner while allowing them to play as an opponent. This allows weak players to reach the top levels and also often makes for lengthy wait times, if you have many players blocked.

Thank you for getting back with me on how to fix my problem. I did not see the setting options and I followed your Instructions and it corrected the issues that I was having. I appreciate you responding to me and help me fix this problem I love this game . As I said in the past, I've tried all the other ones, this is the best Is Euchre game for me.

It's fine, but there are some things about it that REALLY make it hard to like. Against NPC's, anytime I throw out a junk card, either the other team ALWAYS has the Ace of that suite, or if my partner does, the next NPC won't have in that suite, but will have a Trump card. It's so predictable it's boring, not to mention frustrating. Multiplayer mode never seems to have enough people, so I haven't gotten to experience that yet. Decent game, but needs some improvement.

I like that there are no adds. BUT I have never played a game that the opposing team wins 90% of the time. That gets a little tiresome. The shuffles need to be more random.

Not a good realization or a fair game. It seems the computer opponents know each others hands. Almost every time I lead the first hand the opponent is able to trump my lead, especially if they called trump. The computer opponents will pass with both bauer's and additional trump card(s). All of this being said, it is better than most other euchre apps I have tried. For the record, I am an experienced and knowledgeable player, with 30± years of experience playing the game.

It's a fun app and quite addicting but I'll soon remove it if I keep losing my stars. I shouldn't be able to go from 4 stars to 2 in a week.. I'm not the best player but it's extremely frustrating to build up to a certain point then get a few partners with zero to one star who are making TONS of rookie mistakes and I get punished by losing what i worked months to accomplish.

Rated games allow go under with no penalty for failed perfect loner. Basically, it allows skilled players to easily predict loner situations based on the knowledge of who had 3 non face cards. This greatly impacts games around the 80 to 100 skill range. Go under makes the game too predictable, which is why it's typically not used in tournament play. One of two things need to happen, remove go under or count non perfect loners as a euchre after a set skill level threshold.

Theres a lot of players that like to lose a game on purpose and then the partner has to suffer the loss, so i think that there should be a clause in there that players who do that should lose the game and the partner to be credited the point. There was this option a while back but after the second last update, it disappeared. When you bring that back ill give you 5 stars.

Fix the algorithm for God's sake!! I have never got past 30!! I have been playing at least 2 hours a day for 2 years!!! It's so frustrating 😫 Win 3 lose 10!! If and when a better euchre comes along ; good rittens!!! And extremely slow players should definitely be penalized!! It happens way way way too often. Create a slow players game!!

UI is great. However, card dealing is NOT random although they claim it to be. After over 1,100 hands, my random live-person partner stats differ significantly in: Percentage calls Getting Euchred Points scored Succeeding with a loner Succeeding with a stuck call Jacks in their hand Aces in their hand Jacks to pick up It is not possible for my partner to be THIS bad with this TERRIBLE of luck randomly! Fix it!

This game seems solidly euchre. It plays well. Sometimes, just like real life, your partner is an idiot. One of the things I especially like about it is the fact that you can back up and replay, so that you can learn more. But overall it's very good.

Used to be great...but the losing streaks are absurd. It is not uncommon to lose 10+ games in a row. 4 suited hands with no aces or bowers, opponents with great hand after great hand, partners who get set multiple times...etc. Everything about this app is garbage. Administration is absolutely laughable. It could be a great app is the creator(s) would get out of his/her/their own way.

There is no ad-free option. Chat rooms (while waiting for games) are filled with Trump thumpers spewing the latest Russian/Republican propaganda. Both of which detract from a reasonably good on-line Euchre game. There are some minor glitches in the 'random' deal. For example getting the exact same hand dealt twice in a row which has happened more than once. It is interesting to see the varying player skillsets at the different scoring levels. Overall this game is declining.

Although this game does make me follow suit on my turn, it does not make the other players follow suit. I had a hand where I played Trump and one of the players played off suit, and then it played Trump the next hand.
