Absolute scam. We book a car 2 hrs ago and they confirmed the Booking. When we reach there they say they do not have the car, instead they asked me to pay extra for a upgraded car i did not ask for. I disagreed to cancel and that and they cancelled the booking instead of upgrading me to a better car. it was there mistake, why did they confirm the booking if they did not have the desired car!
Cancelled a booking using this app and this cancellation did not register on main Europcar booking system. A no show fee was charged as a result. Europcar is not recognising this as an issue. Hoping a developer will be able to chase this up by looking at logs.
I like Europcar but the app is not very functional. You can't book insurance while booking your car. On a plus side, the latest version is miles away from the last version. Just add the option to book insurance.
Website recognises my credentials. They are not recognised in the app. Cannot import a booking; and cannot log in to add profile. Not useable. Created account and booking online several hours ago; so does not look like some backend sync issue.

Generally ok app, but it does not offer all options when renting (i.e. unlimited mileage) and individual functionalities tends to break for prolonged periods (view bookings did not work for months last year). Since last November, I am in addition unable to make bookings as I get an error message when selecting 'pay' ("some parameters are missing" - everything is filled out properly).
The customer service was terrible and after returning the vehicle in the exact same condition as it was given to me; they insisted in charging me damage fees. They have no interest in customer satisfaction whatsoever and the only thing they care about is how to take more money away from you. Definitely NOT recommended!
Can't login. Website login is fine. The app does not recognise my email or my ID number. Gave up trying to use it.
The worst experience. I had a confirmed booking but they said at the last time that car is not available and we have to pay extra for the desired car
Easy to navigate although tends to log out regularly and doesn't always send tier status or membership details to the rental car station.
Europcar made it extremely inconvenient for ''travelling desi'' YouTuber. What's the point of confirming a booking and canceling at the last moment.
One of the worst car rental company. They accept booking and then don't provide the car and provide smaller cars or ask for extra money. And cancel the booking on their end
Worst car rental in US.... They are frauds if you book a big car and if you go to them they will charge extra money and they will cancel your previous booking...We are with you #travllingdesi
Can't login, it's telling me I'm entering the wrong password, but the same password works on my PC. EDIT: Now it works. The dev replied that it might take up to 24 hours before an account can be used with the app. Not sure how much time had passed last time I tried, so that may have been the issue.
Worst car rental app. Never use this service. 1st they are rude and they cancel ur booking without customers confirmation and if u say something they threaten to call police. Seriously in today's world this kind of business shouldn't exist in my opinion
Confirmed the booking, when I went there, they said they don't have the car. The customer service agent was very rude and racist.
Classless car rental service. Their managers are rude and unprofessional. What they done with travelingdesi is not acceptable.
They will cancel your booking at the time of pickup. After that they will say pay extra amount or your booking will be cancelled. Avoid very bad customer service
On behalf of TD (TRAVELING DESI). This company should first teach there employee's how to solve customer problems,rather to increase it. Worst service. will never ever use this app.
I don't like their customers service even Traveling Desi YouTuber face bad experience from eurocar.Donot recommend to use their service because they maynot give you car even your payment is completed!!
Worst service, they are scammers, last moment they will ask for more money or will cancel the reservation.
Bad surprise! The app left me the choice of not subscribing for a driving insurance, without notice that it is mandatory to do so to drive in Belgium (I knew but I thought it was a non-mandatory one, like optional fees). The result is 150 euros more at the cashier. This is the door to unfair competition, because all competitors give their price with basic insurance included, and of course, they were more expensive... I am thinking of filing a complaint at Test-Achats.
The app says ID/Password invalid while the website works... Edit: After 24h it indeed works... Very confusing...
Wrost experience of other travelers. So, i recommend others not to book europcar service.
Pathetic experience. Why do they confirm booking when they don't have enough cars? They made us to stand. Absolutely pathetic. Even the staff is rude to customer.
This the worst car rental company I ever deal with, I tried a lot to reserve many cars and they declined due unavailablty and finally I booked a car and they confirmed the reservation and before two days for from the arrival date they have cancelled because my travel plans has been changed which is incorrect! Totally unprofessional
