Every troop has its own distinguishing features and if you can master them efficiently, you will be invincible. Every troop can gain battle experience and when they become elite forces, their battle effectiveness will be greatly improved.
The map system is entirely redesigned which supports seamless zooming and the territory and borders of each nation is shown clearly. Besides using strategy to beat the enemies, you can also purchase items in shops, hire generals in taverns and exchange supplies in markets.

I like this but pls add commands button or message so I can ask help from allies in conquest mode. And make the levels a little bit easier (but not too much) because I was just in level 4 France and I still can't complete it because of powerful enemies and few troops. And pls add more generals. Thank u
Keeps dropping me on a regular bases. Have contacted them on 3 occasions, and they have never gotten back to me. Also doesn't always save my progress, sometimes losing 10 or 15 rounds. Very frustrating, because of that, I will never put any money into this game.
It's a game that I've been looking for when I started playing I wanted to play the game every day. If your UK France will rush you. If all the European war games didn't exist I'd be so bored and sad and would nothing😪. The only games I play are European war games. So please try out European war 4 if the game is hard then choose a country next to there teammates if one of your teammates are about to get eliminated go help them if your team is failing defend and help them and try to push back.
fine game, can be hard to obtain generals and progress the campaign if you don't pay. Overall can be played without paying, no ads if you don't want to see them.
This is probably one of my favorite games ever. The campaigns, generals and conquests are really well done. However the only thing is that I cannot save ur game progress when u switch devices so all ur progress will be lost which is just terrible since I've spent nearly hundreds of hours on this game. Wish there was an option to save the game progress in order to keep progress when switching devices.
By far the best Easy tech game. I tried playing the other European Wars and was heartily disappointed. The graphics either get too flashy or too childish. EW4 has just enough graphics to interest you while keeping you focused (its a mind game after all).I think that the point of hex strategy is to create hybrids of board and modern games, you don't have to over do the graphics. Please build new games around EW4's style. It would be nice to have a continuation of the game like an upgrade.Thanks.
While it's not perfect, I've been playing this on and off for at least five years now. Graphics work well on all phones, and the HD can be turned off(ive never found that necessary on even my slowest phone back when i first installed the game, an old huawei released 2013/14). Campaign can be challenging, but it is possible, definitely not a pay to win.
You have done a great job with the game. I enjoyed the campaign and the overall depth of variables is great. In conquest mode, i like to play as smaller countries like Portugal, Netherlands, etc because they are the only interesting countries to play as. Its too easy to mow enemies down once you gain the funds. I wish the AI was a little bit more strategic with their offense and defense. After I max out of money and tools its like im playing a toddler. Also, LET US DECLARE WAR ON ALLIES.
What a beautiful perfect game !!! F2p, works offline, balanced - never unfair - works on low end mobile phones with a excellent graphic, nice forum for hints and tips, more than 80 historic inspired missions with a interesting general storyline... If you like round based, strategic games - this is a MUST TRY! I don't find any point to complain maybe that buying more slots will cost 0.99€ each and two more can extend your gameplay - but there not necessary - and you can decide it later.
Great game, i have at least one suggestion though, please make more of these games this is by far my most favorite of your european war series. AND PLEASE FIX IT EVEN UR ALLIES CAN TAKE YOUR TERRITORY?!?!A
Have downloaded many easytech games, and this one, along with Glory of Generals and Glory of Generals: Pacific War (both HD), remain the best. European War 4 allows you to fight campaign battles that depict actual battles fought during the Napoleonic Wars. It is designed for playability most of all, but strategy is needed to best complete each scenario. Very much fun to play, and you can fight on either side, with or against Napoleon.
Despite the rest of their games with overpowered AI - thus game is actually a fun pass time. However certain aspects need tweaking. For example the scenario of 1775, the Rebels are shown as being very powerful. Making it almost impossible for the British to win. Ofciurse in this series it isn't historically accurate (however there are exceptions); the inaccuracies arn't as egregious as the newer games. But it can be distracting if you expect such a standard.
This would get 5 stars if I was able to sync my account across multiple devices! I'm having to buy new generals on each of my devices.
An excellent strategy game for a tablet. Easy to play and varied. The reason I gave it 3 stars is the game "CHEATS". I had thought that earlier extra troops of my opponents were appearing as if by magic and today I was left in no doubt. Playing the 1806 European game as England and had invaded an almost empty Eastern France. I had captured the only 2 French facilities and no enemy close. The next 2 rounds and 2 units of Militia magically appeared behind me from where there were no troop barracks.
The only problem is that the pay-to-win element is too large. You need to buy shields to recruit high level generals, you pay to unlock slots for generals equipped. Another smaller problem is that you can't build forts with 90% of the playable countries in most scenarios. Otherwise, the game is awesome
The game is really fun. Anybody who calls the AI hard is just bad, or is having a hard time. Your allies are the same as your opponents, and each faction starts with generals anyways. You can win generals by playing the campaign for like 50 medals each. I don't get the idiots who say because it takes time to get something they want your money. Really nice, each playthrough is different.
The graphics in this is by far the only Great in the entire game series. Can you make a new game whenever next time really look just like this one pleaseeee. The new game after European war 5 seem hard with that graphics.
Great game over all, like how you can have multiple saves (alternate experiences), but reading other reviews I agree with a communication feature with your allies, as they follow only a set path of targets and movements. I do have a problem with forts and stuff, but just minor things and I dont use them often.
Great game. I love the graphics and the realism. I just wish they could add things like weather, loans and communication amongst allies because in my game, none of my allies are doing anything and I, as Sweden, am threatening Cairo and Palermo. All in all, it is a great game and I would recommend it to anyone as there is a surprising shortage of decent strategy games for free out there.
It is actually not bad. I found myself enjoying EW4N better than its 6th iteration. Sure it lacks the graphics, the quality of life improvements and explanation of certain features (why infantry can drop an ancor? What does it mean?) But EW4N's combat doesn't feel so ...onesided. It's difficult mindyou, but one doesn't feel as hopelessly (and unfairly) outmatched as in EW6.
This game is absolutely fantastic but I did spend real money on medals because I enjoyed it so much and had some great generals like Murat, Lannes, Lasalle and Moreau. However after reinstalling the game on my phone all my generals and progress was gone and I have no idea how to get them back. I have redownloaded the game on the same account and it did not save my purchases. Be careful buying medals on this game but I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
Great game, I honestly prefer this one over 6 just because in the one I don't feel like I'm at a high disadvantage. The only real problem is the AI strategically, it's trash. They just spawn and send em forth, rarely even a variety of units, mainly just single militias. But I still enjoy it
The game is really nice. There is just one suggestion, add a factor of rebellion group of the country which is conquered and if rebellions are not suppressed they will again regain the thorne lost in the battle(in conquest mode). Diplomacy can also be added to it. All these suggestions in conquest mode.
It's a fun game abd I've been playing it for years not. But suddenly my progress is gone. I don't know what happen, i did not switch to other devices but the damage hace already gone. I lost my saves, my generals which i grinded for months and the progress in the campaign and conquest. I uninstall it the. install it but it did not work. Theybthat there is this return button but nowhere to be found. Be aware of this risk when playing this game.
Wonderful. My favourite game. It's pretty epic that the devs have included some real campaigns that took place during the European War, because you can learn a bit from history whilst enjoying this awesome game at the same time. However, I also believe that the Mediteranian Campaign (or whatever it's called) is practically impossible to complete, which is why I deleted this game. That's because you don't start off with enough food to make sure that your units don't get trapped in confusion (the two general's troops hog most of the food). :) :) :)
Good game. I have 3 princesses and still go back to it. But I wish leaders could equip more than 2 items. And an official rules explanation of all buttons and icons would help. Hints, flash for a second before each game. However, due to poor vision, I've never been able to read a single one. So, more annoying than helpful.
