Evan's Reinforced Concrete Design to BS5400

Evan's reinforced concrete design of beams and slabs version 1.0 was produced by Evan's Consulting Engineers Limited as a trial to test the capabilities of java for android and whether we could in time replace many of our old spreadsheets into android applications and have a handy tool for meetings and when remote from a PC, i.e. on site.

This 1st version took over 750 hours to develop and upload through play store; time which also includes procedures not visible yet as they have not been verified. It was also produced as a trial to assess our own programming capabilities and ascertain whether we could develop more advanced and professional versions in the future. Despite the non-chargeable time spent it was an enjoyable exercise and we intent to work on further structural and geotechnical design applications in the future, so please leave your feedback.

However, please note that this version has not been independently verified, other than a few manual calculations, so please be careful with the outcome if you decide to use it. Finally, please feel free to leave your comments and inform us of any glitches or errors spotted and let us know if you would be interested in the a future version on Eurocodes.
