If I could rate this bank and their app zero stars I would. One of the most absurdly awful mobile banking experiences in my entire life, this is coming from someone who has banked at 6 different institutions in the last 2 years. The fingerprint unlock doesn't work, I always get a message that says "Needs authentication" and it usually sputters and refreshes this message several times before letting me enter my password. It also doesn't save my username so I have to type it in each time. The app itself is simple, there's not much functionality. You can't even access your account number from the app. The only way to access your account number is on a statement or on your checks (of which I don't have any). When you try to open statements from the app, it says file can't be opened. So the only way to see your account number is if you log on to a desktop and open from there. Out of the 6 banks I've banked at, this is the only one where account numbers and other account information is almost impossible to access from the mobile app. As I said, absurdly awful. This isn't getting into my issues with the bank itself, which has also not been positive. When Evans bank bought my local bank, the experience immediately declined. In addition to the app being a million times worse (which is honestly impressive since my little local bank's app wasn't that great to begin with), the customer service is horrible and they make it needlessly difficult to access information about your account. 0/10 do not recommend banking with Evans. I just opened new accounts at ESL and will be closing my Evans account the second my money transfers over.

Overall it is a good app, once I can get into it. I had it set to log in with my fingerprint but that stopped working after a while. Now every time I sign in, it says "needs authentication", however I cannot used the saved name and password in my phone. I have to type them in each time. It's kind of annoying to have to do that each and every time but other than that, the app itself is good. Haven't had any other issues

It's quick and easy and secure. I love that I can open the app with my fingerprint. All the pertinent info is readily available and easy to read. I also like how easy it is to transfer money between my accounts & view my transactions. **The app requires you to change your password on a regular basis. I think every 3mos?? to prevent you from having to call C/S to reset your account. Plus, it's a good practice for security reasons.

Saves my user name occasionally. I have to "enroll" in the app way too often. What would be a quick access turns into a 3 to 4 minute task. Fingerprint does not work at all. The only useful function for me is to transfer funds BUT outside banks that I do transfers to can only be done on my laptop! What's the point? If it's time to make a new password the app locks me out until I access on the laptop to make that change.

Used to love this app before it updated to where you need the fingerprint. My fingerprint scanner on my android does not work properly. And every single time I go to the app it forces me to scan, or cancel. It's a hassle. Make the fingerprint optional in some type of menu. It has become a huge annoyance to need to hit cancel 3 times to bypass the fingerprint sign in. Make it optional or get rid of it.

5/1/22Terribly unreliable. In order to view my balance, I have to reset password each time. This app has been declining for a while. I guess I'm switching banks. You cannot depend on this app/website at all.

Am often prompted to "set up my account" even tho it's been set up. I also have to agree to the terms of conditions nearly every time I deposit a check on my mobile. Unless they're constantly updating service terms, these prompts are uniquely annoying.

I keep having to uninstall and reinstall it to fix an error. After logging in once, when i close the app and open it again i just get a white screen. When the app does work its pretty simple and not much to it. Would be a 3 out of 5 if it worked.

Every single thing me I use this app, it logs kemout after I use it. Then it tells me I have exceeded the login attempts and wants me to reset my password. This is literally enough to make me switch banks. It's 2022, and this app feels like it's from 2009! 👎

Unable to login with Google Auto fill. I tried manually typing it and once both Username and Password have an 'X' next to them, the 'Continue' becomes selectable. On a subsequent login, I used Google Auto fill, but deleted the last character of the password, and manually typed it and THAT WORKED!

I only downloaded this app to avoid the monthly fee for receiving statements in the mail. NOT good Customer Service to nickel & dime your Clients who prefer receiving statements in the mail. I'm all for having a secure website but it is counterintuitive if your customers have frequent difficulties accessing their account on-line. Please FIX to make your app both Secure AND Accessible to your Clients. Also, PLEASE offer your clients the option to receive FREE statements in the mail.

Using my fingerprint to sign in, no longer works . I have enabled it in the app and on my phone several times. This makes it a bit inconvient at times. Besides for the fact that is more secure than a password.

security questions ask me about a vehicle I had 3 cars ago. last time I used it I was asked 12 security questions. sorry I don't remember anything about a car I owned so long ago. also I live in a large city and I don't recognize any of the roads they say are near me (only lived here a few years). At least ask for a road near me. or questions about a car I've owned in the last 10 years. and oh yes I've been using this app for years and all of a sudden it's making me answer all of these questions

The only thing that I do not like is how slow the mobile app is for posting deposited checks. This is no way convenient at all. Most major banks show the deposit immediately. The wait time could be up to 72 hours.

Serviceable, but a BIG step backwards. How could a Bank big enough to buy out my local Village Bank managed to have an online app that is far inferior than my bank had? It is 2020, fingerprint reading on phones is old news that has been around for years. For banking and many other apps, logging in with fingerprint recognition is considered a basic feature. My local bank had it, and they were small. The large international bank I use has it. Why not this app?

Frustrating: repeatedly says 'transfer cannot be completed at this time.' No explanation given. Nothing in help search. Give a better error message, e.g. updating server, transfers temporarily unavailable.

ALWAYS wants you to provide a fingerprint, (gives an error forcing extra steps just to sign in) app signs you out after 3 minutes. Using the app to cross ref bills and such is a pain with the constant auto sign out/resign in stuff.

Easily the worst banking app I've ever used. It keeps forgetting all my information and i have to reeneter my credentials and re enroll in mobile banking and set up fingerprint login in. Then will do the same thing a few days later.

I wish I could give it 0 stars. This is the most clunky, tempermental banking app I've ever used. It feels like it was designed by people who've never actually used a banking app. Accessing your own money shouldn't be inconvenient.

Biometric login has been a nightmare for me on this app no matter ios or android, also very limited options compared to their "online banking service". Other than that it works as it should.

The app used to be good. Won't let me use fingerprint sign on anymore, says I have to enter credentials so I have to close two pop ups before I can enter my password. This app needs help

Horrible app! Constantly locks you out, no support from the bank, no features. It's useless 90% of the time.
