EVE Echoes

This is really not a mobile game. I am impressed by the depth and the graphics, and the potential but having to invest hours a day to keep up and then have your ship destroyed, and not for the first time, by a group of ships waiting at a gate is over the top for something that should be a fun diversion. I spent the full amount for Omega and the three skill chips, so I was fully invested and ready to build a career. Trying to mine to build up some cash to keep the Omega, and get a nice ship for PvE was the goal, but I just can't understand the current balance of the game. Their roadmap shows it will become even more pro-PvP, so this was a good opportunity to cut my losses and uninstall. And a warning to those wishing to start here: You are already a month, and counting, behind in tech so the future is pretty bleak.

After 2 weeks of play, I have learned a great deal about the game. The game itself is fantastic, very fluid gameplay. However leveling up is based on a set of timers (skills) rather than actual repetitive usage of a skill. In order to continue the timers you have to buy omega clones. So you literally have pay to level. With Omega, the game is fun. Free to sample not free to play.

All around its a great game. Never played EO but briefly. Only thing is, needs more options for free to play, and those who may not be able to afford the higher priced packs, "special offers" etc. Also needs way more content that beginners can do. Just want to add this as well. making this game able to play on a google chromebook/ chrome os would be great. Especially the ones without a touch screen.

Utterly amazing. This game has such an immense amount of things to do, but they toned it down from Eve Online so it's not downright overwhelming. The tutorial isn't in your face, but available to guide you through almost everything you need to know. The updates they do release an immense amount of new content regularly and actually fixes known issues. Being able to pay for subscription levels with in game earned money is something I've never seen before. I happily subscribed to support them.

Part of the tutorial glitches', can't finish it, can't progress. Way too much going on for a mobile game. Community in help chat were rude and not helpful at all. Ship controls are weird. So much in this game is inviting and the first 30 minutes got me exited. The more I play it, the less I enjoy it. Such a shame. It looks and sounds amazing but that's all...just looks nice.

April-26-2022, tricky game to learn, but once you do, it is great fun, fun to explore, do missions etc.. and amazing graphics, BUT there is just ONE BUG which is VERY annoying.. during mission combat, the message space above the shields/capacitor read out often sticks with an old [JUMP to STARGATE] msg instead of displaying the more useful [ORBITING and/or APPROACHING ship] information. This is a really stupid and obvious bug which should have been picked up in testing ???? so 4 stars only..

The ship of my dreams... Is Pay to play. You can farm for months and in two seconds a big player just oneshots you, you can't even tell how because the tutorial doesn't even explain the important parts. This could be the best space game but, same comment as everybody else, you have to pay lots of money to really enjoy the game.

I have played other Space Sims on mobile and ended up being trolled all the time, taking forever to level and the game wanting lots of money to level. This game lets you know right up front, everything, leveling speed paid vs free, etc. Community is great! There are people who are trolls at times, but you can avoid them! Never see them! Its awesome! Love this game! Gameplay is really great, graphics awesome! Storyline Awesome! Tutorials and training, Awesome!

Great relief from EO. An interesting mobile adaptation. It's Pay-to-Play, which imo is alright if you're really serious about the game. If you're just a casual then it's not your cup of tea in the long run because as you progress you want to be able to unlock the needed skills to fly higher. Pretty reasonable, per month. Start Basic once you've maxed out the skills to fly your fav T5 so you can dedicate omega for T6 onwards. Great game with a fair learning curve. Easier than EO.

Great game, played EO for a long time, quite a while back. This is just like I never left except for the omega clones, which tbh is a fair price for the basic considering how much you pay each month for EO. If you like space and want to do real life type things, this is the game for you, give it a go! Having issues with bugs, Devs are not bothered as long as your paying, sort the issues and it goes back to 5*

Whilst it's a good game, the pay wall has got to go..or at least be downgraded. I get that you need to fund the development but making it near impossible for Alpha players to upgrade to omega without paying the 4.99/mo to unlock only some of the featured is quite probably what's killing the game for most. I get that it's a lot more in depth and complex than other mobile games but the number of players will never achieve what it could be it if the paywall weren't in the way of playing it properly

Anyone who actually plays this game for even a second has to respect the amount of work that has been put into this; not just the graphics and animation of the game but also the level of freedom you can achieve just by doing what you want to do. The possibilities are endless. On the other hand, there seems to be a bug that prevents the game from starting when on open networks so if the devs can check up on that, thank you.

Boring & confusing. Having never played EVE I wanted to start on mobile; see what I'm missing! I haven't completed extended tutorial due to grinding on for days. Not holding my interest! Overall the game is meh. Maybe problem is prior EVE experience REQUIRED to understand & not loose interest during inadequate tutorials. Chat is clunky & ZERO history saved! Menu system confusing & arcane; 5 minutes once to figure out how change ship! Inventory mgmt & sales = nightmare! Better games for my time!

I was late to the universe in 2015. I joined pandemic Horde as a newbie and had an absolute blast on PC. Went on hiatus for several years and heard they had brought the game to mobile. This game absolutely blew away my expectations. More simplified than PC, but the fundamentals are still there. The Universe is beautiful and the market, economy, PVP & PVE are exceptional. Love that I can play this on mobile now. PS - Watch beginner videos and do ALL the tutorials before just jumping into it.

The game itself is great. The customer service is a joke. Cut and paste replies while never actually helping. A small network lag for a moment is enough to knock you out of the game. Almost 30b isk lost because of this between 3 nightmares. Only happens at NDS gates. I understand it's my network or device but it's been true across multiple networks and devices. I just feel defeated. I can't trust this game enough to spend any more time or money.

The Game could be great, don't get me wrong. The issue lies in the new Insurance Program introduced with the most recent Update. It's flawed and is going to cause long term damage to Industry players and Ratters (manufacturers, miners, reverse engineers, anomaly pilots) and ultimately the player base as a whole. It's gradually killing the free market. Suggestion: Remove the Insurance Program and restore the previous ship compensation until this gets resolved.

Beautiful space combat and immersive intergalactic wars make Echoes my fav game. I recommend buying the Omega subscription for $5, instead of grinding ~7 hours/week to buy it free in-game, because with Omega you unlock everything this deep and rich MMO RPG has to offer and that's worth $5/month. Now, the game is not at all pay-to-win, I repeat, there are NO win conditions behind paywalls. It's all unlocked by your Omega subscription, free ingame currency, and the friends you make along the way.

The games looks and plays nice, but the fact that the 'plex' value has become so high has made it near impossible for free to play players to actually progress further due to needing 'omega' for all things past tech level 7... its not worth the amount of time you need to put in

The tutorial is seriously buggy. I've had to retry multiple missions multiple times to get them to work. For some reason a player capsule is on the field and, I'm guessing, screws up the trigger for the mission to spawn a cargo container... Anyway whatever is going on is dumb.

So far so good: install is punctual & zip into the great unknown. gameplay is smooth & intentional, even free play can quickly ascend to achieve high end content (if they're clever!) 4 stars cos - i can't figure out how to multibox on one smartphone - great port ,but a drastic redux of the PC version that needs so much more - jump clones would be worth a fifth star to me! X o X 0 x O.

Can't finish the very first tutorial. Locked targets maxed out. Even after relaunching the game, this problem is still here. P.S : How can I access the in-game menu if everything is lock in the tutorial? It's stupid. I can only reboot the tutorial

Seems to be unplayable.. I can't get past the very start of tutorial, it says to lock on to target, I click target to lock on and ut says I'm locked to max targets, ive just started tutorial so how have I maxed it before I've even played? There's nothing I can do until I progress but I can't progress.. pointless waste of 15 mins of download time.. I was looking forward to trying this aswell..

Downloaded onto my tablet but could not create a character. Received message saying that I was attempting to use an emulator, which I wasn't. So since I'm unable to play this game for some absurd reason, I can't rate this game higher than one star. Should the issue be rectified in the future, I'd be willing to revisit this game and revise my rating, but until then I'm uninstalling.

There's a forced tutorial that is buggy on my end. Reloading allows it to progress but it's damned inconvenient and I already know how to play. Please add a way to skip the guide with the yellow boxes or at least fix the bugs. Also that guide seems pretty darn excessive.

Worst community of any mmo I've played. So many extremely unwelcoming people it made me drop it. The gameplay is awesome though, and developers obviously work hard. Needs a western advertising company + campaign to draw in new players who don't know it exists. Good luck

I've been playing the game since it launched and it has come on leaps and bounds since day 1. Its a very good adaptation to the EVE Online game. Lots of great new content being introduced all year round. New players may find it harder to afford omega (the pay wall) due to the community driven marketplace driving the prices up on PLEX (in game currency to pay for omega). Overall you as new players should find a well established corporation and run operations together to earn the funds to buy PLEX

Boring. Takes way to long to get anything done , insurance system makes industry worthless , markets are empty , t10 takes 2 years. A sad attempt at eve. You can make money if players don't keep playing and fun. No reason to log on to this paywall anymore hope it dies. Devs are greedy don't make positive changes for players just changes for their own wallets.

The tutorial fails to complete due to a enemy not being present meant to be destroyed. I am leery to go past without completing it, without the arranged gifts attained through it's beginner progress. I noticed several other bugs with the nudging of the tutorial steering and your ability to disregard it. Looking forward to mined up ores I set myself to do yesterday, that today likely won't be garnered, all, for the lack of cargo space the next gifted ship would've had capacity for. Enjoyed models
