Event Countdown Widget

This is a countdown widget for your home screen to remind you of the meaningful dates in your life.It shows the number of weeks/days/hours/mins left to (or after from) a specified date. You can add several countdown widgets to your home screen and you can easily customize them at the creation or later by tapping on them. You can export and import widget datas too.You must set a title and a date. After these you can set optionally:
- set time
- set counter and title backcolor and forecolor
- choose an icon (from the available ~140 nice pictures)
- background transparency (0,80,100%)
- choose from six counting modes:-
- day (counts in days only, use event date only the time doesn't matter, default is 00:00)-
- hour (counts in hours only, use event date + event hour only)-
- automatic (defult in days only mode -> switch to hours only mode in the last day -> finally shows minutes only in the last hour, use event date + time too.)-
- D-H-M (counts in days, hours and mins all at once, but it only works with 3x1 widget size!)-
- week-
- W-D (counts in week and days)
- set a reminder
- set repeating (in days only)
There are three widget size:
- 1x1 size shows ONLY the days, hours or mins by right of choosed counting mode.
- 2x1 and 3x1 size shows the same like 1x1 but has bigger fonts and picture.
- With 3x1 size you can choose D-H-M counting mode and it will shows days, hours and mins all at once.You can resize the widgets if you have Android 4.1 version or above. When you resize its layout has change.(watch the instruction video to see how to!)

◄ HOW TO USE ►This is ONLY A WIDGET not a main application! Widgets are little applications which can be placed on the homescreen or the lockscreen, of your Android device. Adding widget to your Home screen is easy:1a. On your Home screen press the menu key and select Add or alternatively tap any blank/empty area and hold down your finger. In the popup menu choose Widgets.1b. or Go to your All Apps and select the Widgets tab.2. Find and select the Event Countdown Widget to add your screen.
◄ IMPORTANT! WHY DO NOT DOWNRATE! ►
- If you can't find it in the widget list you can try to reinstall and restart your phone too! Or: Some phones install apps to the Phone Storage (or SD card) instead of the Internal Storage. You have to move it to Internal Storage in the apps manager and the widget list will show it!
- If you use any task killer or mem cleaner app, it kills the counter!
- If the layout doesn't change when you resize OR YOU CAN'T RESIZE with android version 4.0 or below it's an Android fault. Only 4.1 or above version support widget resize!
- If you don't know what is widget and can't add it to your homescreen!! It's not a fault! Please see the examp video and read the How to Use description!
- If you have any other problems or ideas please send an E-mail instead of downrating!

I have used this app for YEARS! I love the fact that I can customize the color and font color of both the body and the header. It has little icons you can add to the customization and you can change the size and transparency so not to interrupt your phone viewing. My personal favorite icon is the clownfish 💕 Thank you Event Countdown!!
I have been using this App for years and have always loved it. However the latest update (Nov 18) has completely broken it, so not so great anymore... Any time I try to create a new Event I am left with a blank Widget which just says "loading"
Lovely widgets really helps having a quick glance count down on screen haven't had any problem with this countdown app I can see myself getting the paid version as I find this a handy remind app.. really appreciate having free version just to try out and now keen to support with the pro version
Really love it, let's you go both directions with dates. Count up or down. upgraded phone to Galaxy s9 now it crashes all the time, have gotten some to work others as soon as I start typing widget closes. please help
i set the app in "week-days" mode . But the counter doesn't work automatically. Have to open the app by tapping on the widget to update the countdown.This is highly unlikely...Please fix the problem..
Could not figure the app out so I deleted it. Too many other steps/places you gave to go. Most countdown apps you just put your dates in and it counts down. This has a "how to" section and steps in order to use it.
Attractive widgets, but doesn't update time regularly and there is no monthly repeat option, I would buy the pro version if it had monthly repeat. I think most people need monthly repeat for pay day, loans etc etc
Does what it says with no frills or complications. Would be 5-stars if there are options for font types and sizes. Also limited icons - great if app can access the internet for more.
Love the app and have used it for years now. although im having issues since last update with widgets taking up extra space when placed on home screen. Phone is pixel 5
Dreadful app, design is like W98, very clunky interface. Difficult to customise widget colours to make them less ugly. No small widget options. Yuck !
Does not keep up with the days I just looked thought I had a week but I have 2 days, and no its not battery, level or power, or shutting down apps just doesn't work sometimes and I get confused!!!!
I have always loved this app because it's really easy to use and the size is ok to me so really appreciate the bug fixes as it is really superb!!!!Hearts!!!!!
App keeps closing before you can even make a countdown. Tried to uninstall and reinstall, nothing.
LOVE THIS APP! Please please please fix the widget resizing! I'd hate to have to use a different app.
A shame it can not display year and week and days as a count option. It display, x days after, how about x days since. ;-)
I really do like this app. I know this is a bit of a niche request, but any chance of adding a "months" counting mode?
It does what it's supposed to. I have no problems with your app. It would be nice to be able to link events to what I have in my calendar as well. That should be a given.
the app says many number of widgets. but it is possible only 3 widgets can be created for nugget n android OS.
I used to really like this widget, but it stopped counting down correctly with my Galaxy S9. :(

Lovely app but buggy as hell
Doesn't count down. Unfortunately the widgets never change the number of days left on their own. Once they're set they keep displaying the same amount of days left unless you click the widget to open the program and close out of it again. Not actually very useful for a countdown if you have to remember to update if manually any time you look at it.
