So much potential, but ultimately the need to fly literally thousands of tedious combat missions kills any enthusiasm for the game. There really needs to be a way to automate combat at some point. I played this game for hundreds of hours and feel like I just scratched the surface, but I just got so tired of the combat, especially with the AI that tries to stay out of range. It gets so boring and physically uncomfortable after a while.

I really like this game and I've gotten pretty far, but there's a few issues with game play. I can look past a lot of the main grinding but when I'm trying take a star base at 600% military power and my slime cruiser clone starts attacking me, I want to uninstall over what looks like an easy to fix bug. The game is very streamlined in my opinion but if there are still updates, things like that need to be fixed. also the circling ships are easy to beat once you can move fast enough.

Best top down Space RPG I have ever played by far. Plenty of action, freedom, and endless possibilities. It's neverending but never grows old. The only complaint I have is when I am purchasing modules, the info window closes automatically after ten seconds. It would be nice if it stayed open until I decide to close it so I can study the stats without having to constantly reopen it.

I absolutely love the idea and the base concept of the game. However no matter how far you go, the game is very repetitive. Any time you go to a new star system you have to fight the enemies there, then explore. What if there were faction feuds and you could team up with a faction and war against another? Sort of like bounty hunting. Or you could make trading deals with the minerals you get. Maybe set up a base and mine stuff? I get it if you want this to be a nomatic experience, but it's stale.

One of the best, if not the best top-down space shooter RPG on mobile. The gameplay is challenging but very satisfying once you nailed it down, lots and lots of challenges, the amount of items to equip your ships with are enormous and give you lots of room to build different playstyles. The faction-based tech tree might feels slow at first but once you get to them the game just get that much more interesting. Give it some time and you might not pick up any other game of the same type.

as a concept, this game is rather amazing. The game is simple at the begining, though once you start gaining a few items and leveling up your ships the game expands in depth and complexity with what can be done. My one major issue has to be how many hours you have to put into the game just to be able to make progress in the game. If the pace of progression could be sped up, that would make me feel better about Event Horizon. Still a fun game regardless.

I really like the game, but I've been consistently dealing with an issue that needs to be fixed! The game consists of 1-1 battles (unless the players chooses to fight all enemies at once). The problem is, if the enemy is too fast then it will repetitively fly circles around the player. This is very annoying as it drags the battle way out and may even make the battle impossible.

I was pleasantly surprised upon encountering this game, seeing how it works similarly with a favorite game of mine in the 90's, Star Control 2, with much improved graphic that is. After trying it for some while, it looks like the UI still need a lot of works as currently it's not intuitive enough, nor coming with proper explanations, i.e. Tooltips. Even the "more" fields contains just a replication of the label, hence making it not the easiest game to operate. It looks promising though.

Brilliant. I love the fact the game is long & you can't complete it in a day. For a small game it has so much depth. It is a little repetitive though. It would be nice to see some mining implemented. Like when you arrive at a system you are free to roam around, mine & fight. Also mabey some agents that give missions. I would play this as an mmo. The controls are smooth & easy to get used to. The physics are amazing. Also the Egg... I love the Egg. The game is near perfection. Well done.

One of the best Mobile Apps ever, probably due to the fact it's on PC as well. Though however I prefer the mobile version as it's one of the few good games I enjoy playing when I don't have my laptop on me, I think the developer has done an amazing job and hope they continue this work as it is some of the best! P.S The control UI could use with an update, they don't fit the asthetic, it's all grey and everything else is blue.

By and large I love playing this game. The flying and aiming takes time to get used to, but I enjoy it. The game isn't particularly intuitive (upgrading ships, etc) but I've stumbled my way into it and for the most part enjoyed it. However, my big critique is that playing against "hard" AI shouldn't necessarily mean "flawless opponent". I can pull some seriously crazy flying off and still the AI lands hit after hit perfectly. It's a little excessive. But otherwise enjoyable.

Great so far. Not even "for a phone game" great, just a solid, badass game. Some more complex game elements could probably use a little more obvious an explanation. For example it took me a while to figure out how vital faction reputations/territories were to research progress and crafting ability. But otherwise this is a sick game. Absolutely top quality.

This game is pretty phenomenal. It's got a steep learning curve, if (like me) you don't bother much with wikis (in point of fact, I still don't know if there even is one), but the sheer quantity of customization is mind-blowing. Pick a ship you like, deck it out the way you like, configure the controls the way you like (no excuses for whining about them; if you don't like them, change them), and have a blast!

It seems to be fun at the beggining, but later on you encounter more and more powerful enemies, to the point that you just have to pointlessly wander around the galaxy to grind some score to level up. I also cant understand the research system. You have to discover a certain faction, in order to research, but as I said before, the overpowered enemies just stop you. The game seems to completely prevent you from progressing.

Event horizon is the one game on cellphone, ive been hooked on for years. And then i saw the pc version and i bought it. The mechanics, the controls (customisable) are satisfying. They are easy to pick up. The progression feels good. When you struggle against certain enemies and then you get a new module or you design your ships to fight types of enemies. It just feels right! The grind is long but you can put auto pilot once you loot or buy one. Very underrated game! Very nice commutiny.

This is an AMAZING game, and I have played for 5 years. However in that time some good things have changed, specifically the hanger (you used to have a grid that worked similar to designing a ship), the moons used to be actually objects with gravity but now they are just background images, there is also a bug with the jugomunger (a ship probably spelled it wrong) where the tail will randomly teleport around (this shop only shows up rarely) other wise still a great game especially from one guy.

Solid game overall. I played and enjoyed it and paid for it. But it's pretty grindy and repetitive. The gameplay mechanics evolve somewhat as tech advances but they hit a ceiling. There is not really any RPG element - not in the sense of characters, stories of your choices mattering. And there's aren't any consequences to anything except poor spending choices. You'll reach a point where you just go "meh, bored now." Which is OK I guess. But it'd be nice to have some sort of meaningful win/finish

A good space rpg and keeps me entertained with its planets and HUGE customization options. Unfortunately this game has the worst tutorial i've ever seen in a mobile. Barely any instructions, hints or clues to tell me what to do when i get started so i often had to mess about and figure out what would happen. And i don't like how every time you explore a planet you get attacked by enemies and its slow leveling up. Overall this is pretty neat and i'd play it anyday

The games is nice and I like the idea however it's really repetitive and infuriating. The challenges are on extreme ends, either extremely easy or extremely hard, the challenges have superhuman reactions making some of them darn right impossible. If you see the spectrum in one of the challenges, your side or not. Avoid it. The challenges are mostly anger generators or rewarding boosts. Great game, I really do love it but the challenges break it's gameplay, smuggler bases are overpriced too.

The developer is extremely capable with designing A.I. but doesn't seem to understand that there needs to be deliberate flaws in them so the players have a way to beat them. Fast enemies will dance between shots or just out of range with perfect movements, and heavy ones will punish the slightest error with heavy firepower. The A.I. is flawless to a fault. The gameplay is rather bare-bones, and the interface isn't player-friendly.

Great game overall. Mid to late game is where you start to have the tools needed to really experiment with builds and the AI/enemy builds become more varied so it becomes increasingly more complex and therefore fun. But the first dozen or so hours are slow and it can be difficult to gain traction until you get to that mid game hump.

I really love this game the combat is good, the controls is easy. I only have one idea, When in combat instead of using one ship at a time you can select the ships you want to use in combat and then all these ships fight along side you same with the enemies. It will feel more like a batlle then. The one ship at a time will still work for survival though.

I had never played a mobile game like this one before. It has a good progression system with it's skill tree and planet-to-planet A.I. difficulty. I find that where this game shines is in collecting, building, and remodeling unique ships to fit your needs; being that you are the prototype! And lastly, I like the idea of capturing bases and having small events come up. This is the best game in my opinion, that I would recommend to anyone who enjoys creativity and grinding should try this game.

Jos. V. Sep 22, 2020

It's interesting Needs more of a tutorial. Better explanation on what mods do and how they effect your build--- to expand on my last thought, there really needs to be further explanation on mods and even the tech tree, as an example I wanted to research how to build a better ship, easy to do except it didn't tell me I needed a certain level station to build it, so I basically wasted those stars because I researched something I can't use. I'll bump to 4 because it is fun.

Really cool game, I like the everything about this game, it's just that it feels quite empty is all, and it doesn't have a story, all you do is just fly around and destroy enemy ships, but, overall great game

I've been looking for a good but not too complicated space rpg, resource management, looting, ship customization. It's the perfect package and it's fairly casual. Easy to jump in at any moment. I hope they continue to add and improve, but as it sits, wonderful endless gameplay.

I used to really enjoy this game and sunk a lot of my free time into it, however with the more recent changes the game has become pay to win, with progress becoming very tedious. You used to be able to gather stars more easily early on, it still took effort but now it's nearly impossible without paying. An option to search planets with a click like before would 100% fix my main problems in the game, progression is simply too slow. Can't recommend the game anymore.
