Pretty handy overall. When filling out registration forms, if it doesn't like the info you've entered, it just says to fill out the highlighted sections but doesn't actually highlight anything, so you have to guess what it wants you to do. The timer for completing your ticket purchase resets if you open anything else on your phone or if your phone goes to a screensaver, which means you'll have to re-enter all your info when you leave for a minute to find your credit card. Otherwise it's fine.
Pretty good, not much to complain about. I've been attending multiple free zoom calls seminars that are helping my craft and have many options for going out. Only issue is sometimes when searching up something, it says "there's no internet connection" when there is. I wish that wasn't a consistent error because I might be missing out on even MORE cool events. Oh well, ok to good app!
It sort of works, just. Utterly terrible human interface on my average sized Samsung Galaxy Xcover 4s - every time I go to input information to book an event the field disappears, being covered by irrelevant parts of the form. Nothing I can do about this, so to see what's happening I keep having to clear the keyboard each time. Incredibly frustrating!
In the past eventbrite has been smooth sailing to use. Today it was not. I had a bunch of weird error messages pop up as I was trying to checkout and had to back out of the checkout process. That was a bit disconcerting not knowing if the next time I tried to checkout if the event would be sold out because I lost my place in line.
I like using this app so I know what's happening around town. However it can be frustrating to use. I will scroll through looking at events and when I select one to look at the details then hit the arrow to take me back to the scroll screen it takes me back to the very beginning. That is so very very frustrating.
App works OK but there are frustrating late night notifications (at midnight) that come through when my phone is on silent or DND. It would be great if the notifications could be set to the daytime e.g. midday or afternoon.
The events list is just flooded with business events - essentially advertising. Restricting category selection to one at a time makes it too hard to find non-business events, i.e. the ones most of your audience are actually looking for.
App issues where it does not show tickets in the app that I have in my email. No way to contact support to get it resolved. Easier and more reliable to just use email and not the app.
Just downloaded the app and had the email (10:58am) to update the password. Within seconds I've clicked the link, typed my password in and clicked the button. I've done it twice (another email at 10:59) each time I've had an info box pop up telling me the link has expired, when there should be a 2 hour time limit on it! Time is now 11.04am - so definitely not 2 hours! Once this is fixed I will give a proper review
Not very good app for searching. Why can't I filter out events that are full or closed to purchasing? Then when I look at an event and come back out takes me to the top of the list and I have to scroll through them all again! Also I had an event cancel with zero explanation - but at least I got my money back.
Has the events I want to sign up to. Not much point to having the app over the website. It's really too bad that when signing up for tickets the info doesn't autoload. Akai can't bulk purchase events and when signing up to online events and it makes a calendar event, it does not give you a link to the call platform event. Instead you have to go to the email where the ticket is to find the link. Such a hassle!!
Amazing App User-friendly, easily maneuvering around. I like that the AI connects you to options that you may like or throw something at you that you never thought of. I like that someone else may not. Also like that it is pay accessible and takes most major payment forms
Eventbrite provides an amazing range of cultural, business, fitness, academic events. You name it they will have something that will suit you to a T ...!!! Thoroughly engaging. They have opened up literally whole new worlds for me personally. Brilliant. 🏆🌹🏆
Hey creator, this app is amazing still working-ish but I think there is a bug now. It's lagging and I can't see most of my liked event, i uninstall and installed back but still havingthe same problem but I can go on my computer to find it. Hope it gets fixed soon so I can use in on the go. Thank you
Not the best checkout experience, got bounced around the app and the site when I selected I'd rather pay with my Credit Card over PayPal (I don't know what you have against that). Waited while the app "processed my payment" but no progress was made. When I backed out of that it told me I actually did purchase tickets, I guess. App appears to be buggy in this regard. How about you tear a small amount of money from your board of directors' tight pockets to make the customer experience better.
Being a single mom is rough on the pocket book. All the free events that I can sign up is so wonderful!! Keeps us active and we actually love every event. Especially when we find new parks nearby to explore.
I like using this app because it alerts me to events I might not want to miss. Buying tickets is easy and the events are automatically added to my calendar.
Some issue one their system caused a purchase to fail with a 'try again' message but still charged my card. Getting the charge reversed is like pulling teeth. 0 stars for the app and 0 stars for their customer support
This was my first time using Eventbrite and not one negetive issue with the purchase of tickets to an event. I did order early to be sure to get tickets. Therefore I have not used the tickets as of yet. If there are no issues on entry to the event on set date then 5 stars is spot on for Eventbrite. I also downloaded the app as to see and recieve info on interest and events. Good job Eventbrite.
Eventbrite is phenomenal. I've been able to tour many areas of the world always with very knowledgeable guides. I see through their offerings that there is lot more I look forward to checking out!
I FREAKIN HATE THIS APP! Absolutely hate it! I'm sure the developers could care less since so many organizations & restaurants use it to post their events that most likely it's not going anywhere but this app has no management whatsoever, it always has a seizure when I try to view my favorites & likes, it freezes to the point that I have to close the app. The search works maybe once every blue moon, otherwise I get the same message each time "We are having difficulty connecting to the server"
So easy and relevant; keeps my tickets organized and seamless integration with my Google Calendar. I appreciate the timely email offers and reminders. Eventbrite does events flawlessly, thank you! PayPal too.
I loved this app until they removed the map function. I assume this was to force me to look at stuff that I didn't care about and often involve crossing the Pacific ocean or a national border. Now I use it when an event I find somewhere else directs me here.
I get constant reminders for event happening in months... I end up having 5/6 pop-ups every few days which is extremely annoying. And I cannot cancel my participation to events. So I'm just stuck with them also, when an organizer cancels or change the date, nothing changes on the app and we still get reminded for it. So even though the app is OK, easy and it's nice to have all event in one spot... I'll just let it go.
