This was my first time using the app for a conference (AHS 61st Annual Scientific Meeting) and I was really pleased with it. I loved being able to have everything in one place, being able to choose my sessions, and the meeting reminders/messages were great! I did struggle a bit at first, but quickly figured things out. It was so much easier than referring to a paper schedule. When a session was changed/cancelled, being notified so you didn't waste time was fantastic. A great app overall.
Stable, worked well and reliably at our conference. Two suggestions: 1. If something is saved on "My Events," default to opening that event automatically rather than making the user choose their event each time the app is opened. 2. Within a schedule, the app should default to the current day rather than defaulting to the first day of the event. These two shortcuts would make it easier for users to open the app and find what's happening at the moment. Thanks!
Video quality through the app was terrible two days in a row (green and static-y). But, easy to navigate and could use for setting up Q and A, scavenger hunt, picking talks, etc. I did end up having to use the desktop/laptop link to watch all videos with visual content. Definite downside for conferences that include visual content like slides or whiteboard use. For just audio, works like charms. Could take a walk for those and use it like a podcast.
Horrible app. I cannot access Enduring Materials section with constant app crashes
Useless for PAS2022, worked well the first few days but as the conference approach it started to have bugs and crashed. Contacted support and sent several emails plus several attempts to fix but it didnt work which impacted the way I organized my time during the conference
Initially a problem to set up and use. App was reinstalled and all problems were corrected. Suggestion: put SUBMIT at end of evaluation, not beginning. Format/overall layout nice. Ability to access multiple types of info done very well. Good job overall.
got a "check internet connection" error second time i opened the app. i had to reinstall to get it to work, but it retained my information. i haven't had any further problems, but I know of one other person that had the same experience.
I used the app for the GSA conference. The app makes me choose my event every time. I should be able to go to my conference immediately. Also, I have to scroll down to click on my schedule. What I'm saying is the usability could be better. The app works as advertised and is also able to deal with losing internet connectivity.
Once you figure out the need for eventScribe, it is fairly easy to use. It would be nice if when you are on a particular page and close the app, once reopened it opens back to the last place you left.
Access issues from outside North America - for a global conference. The chat bubbles wouldn't work. Annoying when it syncs each selection individually with a chime for each one. Scheduling ONLY in EST - again for a global conference.
easy to download and navigate
the app is so in depth it takes a moment to learn what a help it is. I was surprised how I stumbled into shortcuts by tapping a name or title and I'm sure if I make more use of it I'd move around the conference much better.
Navigation is too restrictive. E.g. one can't go from the schedule to the speaker bio, to hos presentation, to the evauation withot backing out of each one. It's difficult to get overviews of content,
unable to search events. just installed the app and can't seem to search for the event i am looking for. from the "search" screen, nothing happens after i enter the event name and hit enter, and there is no "search" button to press.
Easy to use, well laid out.
App opens fine but once I login to my event, it will not load. I get an error message that says app keeps stopping. Tried on 2 different android devices.
Easy to explore . The lectures are divided based on day, theme, speaker , etc which really helps what you want to attend. Thanks!
I wish they included a map of the facility to make food choices easier. Having access to the handouts and evaluations was great!
Not easy to use. Terrible U/I
Some handouts do not open
Enjoying the ease of scheduling seminar attendance at upcoming conference. I can scroll through each day, star what I'm interested in and then view my individual plans on a single screen. Also appreciate that the events show on my Google calendar as well. Great sorting tools to view conference info and read bios of presenters. This app makes planning a breeze.
Total garbage app. Easier to just look up the schedule on the conference website. Not user friendly and loaded with ads.
Great way to have access to meeting. Love ease and flow. Great tool. Did not work well at first but reloaded and works better.
loved how I could have updated event information as well as messages prior to planned events. I was able to individualize my schedule and view slides.
App constantly freezing. Making it difficult to access my conference. Missed an entire lecture waiting for issue to resolve
Updating my experience. Dropdowns and downloads are working and making the inmeeting experience very good. When trying to find presenters and other app users, I could not get it to accept a specific name.
