Stuck on day 2 at the map. Can't select anything, the only thing I can do is open the menu/log. (Edit: found a Steam thread about the same issue. Restarting the game and retracing my choices did get it working, though it still would be great if someone managed to fix the bug.) The load screen has one column missing (the saves aren't moved to the next screen, they're just unavailable).
The story itself is good. I played it on the computer and got it for that reason. The mobile controls, however, are really bad. The swiping mechanic sometimes confuses a swipe with a click, which makes quick saving difficult at times. The save page gives you 12 saves per page, but the load page only recognize 9 of the 12 save slots. BE WARY OF THIS if you save and load often. Overall, its a good game with wonky controls.
This was a good read. I read through it once and enjoyed it. The characters were memorable. The music being good and the characters' art could use some work but I have no complaints. But still all in all. Mostly good except for a few Russian lines when I was going through the English stuff. Still good though. Highly recommend it
One of the best stories i have read, including books and movies this game still manages to easily be considered one of my favorite stories. The choices make the games replay value extremely high and i have spend 50 hours reading and rereading the story. There is even more for those who want to see everything so I'd say that this game is something for anyone looking for a good story influenced by your choices.
It was good, for what i managed to play, i would get to a point where I'd be given the option to choose a destination on the map, but nothing works and nothing is highlighted. Only when restarting the game it works, but once i got the second time to choose a destination it was the same problem, i refuse to restart the game each time I'm given the map screen, please fix this asap and I might download the game again
It's an interactive novel. You can unlock more storylines depending on the choices you makes and how many times you complete the game. The more endings you get the more endings you can get. Regardless, I love the characters and the mystery of the story. Fantastic and a classic.
Captivatingly relaxing! Played the pc version before and this one didn't disappoint. Although it may have some slight issues regarding controls, font size and save options, it managed to keep what we all loved from its pc counterpart: the vibrant cg's and breathtaking bg's, the spot-on mood-setting beautiful soundtracks , and the variety of choice-based outcomes and monologues that could give you existential crisis. If you're someone who's kinda lost in life, this great vn is for you >^.^<
Everlasting Summer was my first visual novel I read with mindset, that this is a game of genre called "visual novel". First time I've read it in Russian, and it was amazing experience. I read all of the endings, I forgot about all of the surroundings and was just reading it. After sometime, I reread it in English, and for my surprise translation is pretty good! Which only gives positive emotions and it means that this visual novel can like not only Russian speakears but mostly everyone! Read it
Best visual novel on Android so far.... in fact its a top visual novel in its own right even when compared to the ones available on the STEAM network. Many routes. Gooood story. Worth playing through many times. Playtime depends on many factors but its around 10 to 25 hours but that depends highly on how you play.
Great VN, gets better the more routes you play and somehow manages to wrap up the ridiculous but good story arc very concisely (as long as you play ALL the routes, including the Zhenya one from the settings last) Only minor problems I had were some choices being untranslated (e.g. Lena in the infirmary about the dress, choosing between helping Slavya, helping sports club or helping cybernetics club) and the swipe controls being quite inconsistent and awkward, buttons would be better.
A true masterpiece. For being free, this is probably one of the best (if not the best) games around here. The characters are memorable, the story is well detailed and it has a lot of replay value. I would love to see these characters in a future project as each of them are a world on their own. Honestly, I am really surprised of how good this game is. I gave it a try based on the reviews and I was not dissapointed. Soviet Games... You just earned a new fan.
I normaly state if I like the game or not but due to the sheer awesomeness of this game a simple "I lIkE iT" won't cut it. Firstly the music is amazing and perfectly conveys the emotion characters are feeling wether it be tranquil or terrorfied. The story begins with a massive hook out of nowhere that leaves you deeply intrigued throughout your gameplay. The characters are unique from one another in terms of character types, personalities, and desighn. That combined with the many endings, 10/10.
Okay i just wanted to say that this is a good visual novel, BUT it keeps crashing, like seriously when i am in the middle of the game it keeps crashing. I would want you guys to fix this problem. That is all and still love your works.
Wow man just wow ! I love these types of visual novels where there is a mix of adventure , sorrow And most importantly love . What a game ! I was really touched at the end and wished the summer never ended and already missed the characters. Keep up the good work and thank you for such an amazing experience !
The soundtrack is amazing. The characters are beautiful each in their own way. The art is awesome. I love this game so much. Played it on PC and it's literally my favorite game of all time. Has a free sequel called Frosty Kiss. Only play that after you get every ending for everlasting summer though.
Look, I've played many visual novels , but everlasting summer is the best one I've ever played you can achieve different finals depending on your choices, every time it's a new experience in the game just perfect
ive completed the entire game and i have to say, what an experience it was. theres a reason why this is the only mobile game i have installed as i normally prefer playing games on the PC but in this case it is best played mobile IMHO. (sorry for grammar, i normally dont review things but this had to be done as i loved it so much and have to support the devs)
i got this on steam a around two years ago and this is one of my favorite visual novels out there. the characters are great and the story is pretty nice, really got me interested in russian culture because of the setting. would recommend to anyone who likes visual novels to get either here or on steam.
I really enjoyed this interactive game. The characters were well done and I feel pretty sympathetic towards the MC. Especially at the ending (Slavya route). Which I pretty much expect would happen, through it didn't make me much less disappointed and sad that it happened. Overall this was a lovely game through I wish there was some way to stay rather then go back to the MC's reality.
Mind-blowing. I am speechless! I just hope I never forget my experience with Everlasting Summer. It taught me a lot about life, miracles(or maybe something else which just can't be put into words). Please keep producing such masterpieces, developers.
I don't even have words for this game... I literally loved it - the graphics, the background, the characters, the story line, EVERYTHING in this game was perfect 👌 I got the Alisa bad end but I am so excited to see the other endings too!!!
The best visual novel I ever played. The storyline is unpredicted and full of surprise. There are some grammar mistakes, but it's not a problem at all. I really love it and I hope I can give you more than 5 stars because you deserve more than 5
Everlasting Summer is one of the great amateur visual novels. It's a little rough around the edges, but the art is quite sufficient, the story is excellent, and the soundtrack is among the best in the genre. With seven major routes, each of which has two variations, you're getting incredible value for the price. This game is free on PC, but I highly recommend buying it on a tablet, since I find tablet computers a very comfortable way to read visual novels.
