Evernote - stay organized.

It is so sad to see this app that I loved so much dysfunction to this level nowadays. The app sync is abysmal. Most of the time I end up with conflicts if I can find my notes at all. The desktop app is slow and useless. Even the website is becoming slower and slower and happen to bug on a regular basis. The Chrome extension seems to be the only thing alright left. I wish that I could go back to the days where it was simply one of my favourite apps. I was a happy premium user back then.

I used to love this app and recommended it to all the students I taught. Since I used it practically every day, I've been a premium member for many years. Unfortunately now with uploading so much information, rather than storing the information in a Cloud, it has now taken up more than half the space on my laptop - making working on my laptop problematic. Evernote are aware of this problem but don't seem to be prepared to do anything about it. Be warned

I have been using this app for probably about 8 years. I've loved it and all of the updates have just improved the app. But the last month or two I haven't even been able to use the app at all. My texts aren't showing up, certain notes aren't saving. I thought it was just my phone but I even switched to the web view and to my tablet. Had the same issues on all platforms. Had to start using a different note-taking app. I really hope these issues are resolved soon otherwise I will be uninstalling.

Extremely disappointed. I can't believe it's taken this long for me to try Evernote. Who doesn't know what Evernote is? I've had it with Google Keep, so it's a perfect time to try it. I am often sympathetic to the fledgling developer, so as much as I hate it, I understand and try my best to tolerate the bombardment of 'Please Upgrade!' Screens when I start their app. If the app is remotely useful, I'll gladly pay the $2.99, $7.99 or whatever to support the dude and get the Pro version. I couldn't believe the bombardment of screens in this app and the same with the web browser Evernote application. Especially in the menu. Besides that, having to pay $6/month to be able to sync 3 devices is insane. I so depressed at the thought at trying M$ OneNote, but I guess I have no choice. I just know I'm going to be stuck with Google Keep and that stinks.

It should be a useful app to help organise things that need to be done and to save time. Unfortunately, the app is incredibly slow to the point where it does not function. The app is full of glitches where it doesn't save notes properly, often text and letters are missing. There are more complex apps than Evernote in general yet there are no performance issues. It's really not acceptable for an app like this to be this slow, it's sloppy programming!

Used to be a good app. But every update in the last 6-12 months seem to have made it worse. Slower and less reliable. Struggling to get Notes to sync properly, if at all. Photos take forever to attach to a note now, and it often just hangs and I have to restart my phone to try to get it to work again. Sync issues include multiple versions of the same note showing on my PC, missing half the information. And the sync icon on my phone does not go away on some notes.

It used to be amazing. A recent update has made it slow & complicated, and has counter-intuitive interface. Many others have reported the same. Dear developers: whatever complicated process you went through to get to this version of the app is BAD because the experience of using it is BAD. I can't wait 30 seconds to find out that my note isn't opening at all. I can't wait 15 seconds to write a new note. I want to be able to trash notes easily, not open up menus that I have to scroll.

With the free version I was having issues with my notes appearing with the included text. I would get some to show the details and other I would get the spinning circle. The spinning circle would just go forever without showing the text notes. I upgraded to the pay version and nothing has changed. I still shows the title, but it will randomly hide the note text. Very frustrating. In my opinion, this app is horrible! Use and/or pay at your own risk!

I've used Evernote for a number of years, but this latest update has completely f#@kd the app. Note updates haven't sync'd, now it just opens and goes to a white screen. What a disaster! The app has really being trying to push further for more upgraded services and it's a real turn off. Thanks for the past experience but time to move on. Don't recommend anymore.

Firstly, I'd like to say this isn't a bad app. I've used Evernote for years and for the most part they have delivered what I need. However, recently the app has been having some type of syncing issue. When I create a note on my desktop or make an edit on the desktop sometimes it doesn't show up on my app version even though I refresh, close out the app, or even update to recent version. Also sometimes my notes are duplicated everything I make an edit which is weird.

I've been using Evernote since 2019, and honestly I would've given 4 stars had it not been for all the problems the app is creating right now. Sometimes the notes just won't close on my phone, and at other times Evernote will freeze. Then it shows an option for review, but doesn't even let me review it because it closes instantly. I expected better performance from a phone app that I've been using since long.

There used to be a bad problem with automatic scrolling while editing a note (on my Samsung Galaxy S10e) that made editing a note on my phone almost impossible. So I reduced my rating to two stars, but promised to change it back to 5 stars if they fixed it. Well guess what? They fixed it! The original review: So handy, so smooth. I rely on this daily. And I love the effortless way I can move between my phone and my computer.

There is something about the latest update, which nearly makes the app unusable. Saving or opening notes take too long, sometimes you can move the note to a notebook, sometimes it just doesn't work. Quite often, I have to restart the app to see changes. Feels unreliable. UI also used to be better for note taking.

I've used Evernote since 2011 and it worked very well. For a while. It has replicated some of my lists multiple times. If I delete the multiples, it deletes ALL of an entry. The only reason I'm giving it 2 stars is because it still saves notes. EDIT-EVERNOTE, I keep the app updated. It's unrelated to the app's instability.

All apps and WordPress applications to we design have to be validated through a validation website that treats it's reliability for use in all browsers. Firefox, Explorer, Crome, all have interface issues. Some websites won't be able to pass along all the text entries that the others can work with. I've been reading comments about these issues. That is the probable problem.

Thank you for improvements made in recent months. As a longtime user (13 years), I've a treasure trove of notes. My needs are simple: clip, catalogue (with keywords), retrieve. That's it. Alas, when clipping article / webpage, three bugs remain: (1) legacy tags that have nothing to do w/current or recent clips keep showing up, in triplicate: (2) I'm not able to create relevant NEW tag (as an action researcher, this drives me nuts); and (3) clipped article / item doesn't save immediately. Help!

Since the redesign update, the app has become super slow and unresponsive. Scrolling often just closes the note randomly. I've been using this app for years, but now I'm looking for a replacement. Update: switched phones, asked me to unsync one of my devices, chose to unsync the old one, now I can't log in anymore. Complete and utter garbage. Every second of using this failure of an app makes me angry.

This app is forcing you to upgrade your plan as it is not letting you Unsync devices. Everytime i try to do so, it says- " Connection to the server took longer than expected. We cannot unsync devices at this time. Please try again later. Error : NATIVE_FALLBACK_SHOWN " so you have to buy the plan if aren't around those 2 assigned devices. Its ridiculous marketing strategy. Lost respect for the app and shutting down my operations. Don't fall into the trap.

very good note-taking app . one of its best features is how smooth it finds what you're looking for , it even finds text in PDFs. my only comment on it that it takes a little bit more time to open than many other note-taking apps like google keep for instance . but if development team solved this problem, I would prefer it than Google keep . as Evernote has a lot of features which don't exist on Google keep .

There was a time before this all new update, I used to write all my music in this app. I've been using it for years now. This new update has really messed things up as it never saves the last moment notes and shows error while saving too. Idk what is the issue here coz before the update, in the older version, all the things were smooth. Please degrade me to the older version

This is a really good app, but I am experiencing glitches on it. I use this app on a Samsung A11. The app is laggy sometimes. There is a glitch where if I click the checkmark to save it, the checkmark and redo/undo buttons don't go away. I can still type and edit the document, but all of the other buttons become unresponsive. The only option then is to close the app. But when I reopen the app, my note is gone or only have of it is there. Please fix this issue

Super UseFull App.! Write and organize notes, daily tasks, journal and so much more. You can attach audio, create voice notes or video to anything your writing about(mine is limited about the size of those files because its the free version, but I have evernote for several years, and its great for what I use it for). Free templates already to make it easy to create work or school stuff. I Love the app it shoud come from factory in every cellphone.! sync your notes with your computer instantly.!

I have the same problem as Elvin Fabian ... I check boxes for items I need from my master shopping lists. Any edit causes the program to switch my whole list to the checklist format. This means the item name is automatically crossed out whenever I check its box, and I can't eliminate the strikethrough by using the edit feature. In fact, the strikethrough option isn't available to either add or remove. The updates have made it more difficult and clumsy to use; opposite of improvements.

I've used this app for many years. It's great as a memo pad, able to lock notes. It WAS fast and easy to use, now it cluttered and messy. Every time I go to open a note it takes forever, open and close multi times to see the note. I don't need or want my stuff in a cloud, leave the option to save locally.

I fight this app as much as use it, & that can't be right. I have used this app on and off over ten years. It's less user friendly than when I first used this app. And limiting me from using this app on more than two devices, without subscribing, is crazy. Newest Bugs: Multiple duplicate notes, makes using this almost impossible. Also frequent lockups that occur. Sometimes just backspacing out a , or hitting edit, will cause a 30 second freeze, before I can continue.

Been a loyal E-Note user for about as long as I've had a smartphone which is over a decade. 99% of that time has been seemless and beautiful. But for months now, there has been a major lag/freeze issue when opening ANY notes, even most recent/loaded. But W/O fail everytime when I open to edit, it freezes and lags for a long time. Often times wiping out the main benefit it's supposed to bring, efficiency. I'll gladly change this back to 5 star if someone can help me fix this! Please help!😭

Update March 2022. Using on Samsung Android Note 10 plus. App is super glitchy lately. Selected several images from gallery to share in a note and the images have not uploaded correctly. Only shows the file info but not viewable. Also keep skipping around on the Note while I'm typing. Love using this app on both my phone and laptop for so many purposes. Most used app on my phone possibly. One day I may even upgrade...but even the free version has completely changed my life for the best.
