Eversense

The Eversense Mobile Application works with the Eversense Continuous glucose Monitoring (CGM) System – the first CGM system with a sensor that measures glucose for up to 90 days. The app runs on a compatible mobile device and receives and displays sensor glucose data from the Eversense Smart Transmitter. The mobile app provides easy access to CGM data and eliminates the need to carry a dedicated receiver device.

In addition to the current glucose value, the Eversense Mobile App provides alerts for hypo and hyperglycemia based on the settings you enter. It also displays the rate and direction of glucose changes, and provides the ability to enter glucose-related events like meals, insulin and exercise.

Senseonics, Incorporated is committed to developing transformative glucose monitoring products that are intended to enable people with diabetes to confidently live their lives with ease.

The app doesn't allow you to silence alerts. With the latest update you can't even get it to stop by turning off your ringer or putting the phone into silent mode. This wouldn't be so bad, but you need a loud alarm to wake you up at night for low blood sugar, so when you're in a meeting, or a funeral or a job interview your phone starts blaring and there is no way to quiet it. It would be nice if you could silence the notifications by pressing a side button on the phone. (Like every other app)

It is a very good thing that I was able to know the trends of my glucose reading. It allows me to know whether certain food you ate is causing your blood glucose to fluctuates either direction, as in my case, mostly up, and you can take action accordingly. I love the device but my issues is that it causes me to itch around the area the area it is placed.

I like the premise, however I have a few issues. I consistently get a calibrate past due, even though I have an hour until mycalibration window is over. Also, when calibrating, it would be nice instead of starting at 100 or where your glucose level is and spinning a dial 70 times to get to your actual current level, this should be a number pad design so I can just input what my numbers are and be done.

This is a life changing device, I have switched over from Dexcom and I like it much more! To the devs - - The app could be a bit better. I am never notified of when I need to enter a calibration, and this is a bit annoying since the reading just stops. Ideally it would continue and although it may be less accurate, it just had a banner notification of that sort telling me it needs a calibration. Glucose devices are not always around, this is why we use CGM, I always prefer an idea of what it is.

This rating is solely for the app itself in android. For the sensor I give it 5 stars. Problem is the app has very little advancement in comparison to other cgms. There needs to be a way to input glucose values for calibration. Currently the user has to scroll to the appropriate value. Other big issue for me is that lately the app constantly disconnects from the transmitter, to the point that I need to reconnect multiple times per day. Please fix this app and make it as great as the sensor. Thx

Update. After uninstalling, then deleting again, then installing again, turning off the phone to restart it( just a restart did not work for me) I was able to log back in. I had to do the 4 calibrations due to the device not being recalibrated for too long. Completely broken after update. Could not login to app. So no readings could be seen. But it still tells me to calibrate, but I can't see the calibration screen. Hopefully they get that fixed soon.

Love the sensor, the app is underdeveloped. 1 The lack of an ongoing notification with your CGM value or any widgets is disappointing. 2 The alerts for high/low are notifications that occur at your phone's set volume. So vibrate = vibrate only alarms. 3 The ability to share your data in real time is only available for iPhones. I recommend using IFTTT (app) to detect when you getting a low notification & automatically send a text to a preset person with that.

if possible, I would leave no stars. this app DOESN'T WORK! I charged my transmitter Friday night. take it off the cradle and it will not find my transmitter. I went through an hour of tech support and a new transmitter was sent. I got it today and called tech support to help get it working. and guess what! it doesn't work! but it will work with an iPhone! 🤬

The meter, app, and eversense system are a game changer! My only suggestion would be to allow manual typing of numbers when inputting them as the scrolling method tends to take up more time as I keep scrolling over the correct digit I'm trying to select and I don't have much time to fidget with it due to work and life. Good job on the app, so far this is great

I found it difficult to find someone in my area to place the sensor. then when it was time to remove the sensor she had to cut into my arm to remove it, it left a pock scar on my arm and still is painful in some conditions. I deciceided it was not worth being scared so many times. Otherwise the sensor and custor service was great. It worked well and I had limited difficulties with it.

I love Eversense but not this app. For me it is a MUST to be able to see my Blood Sugar ALWAYS on my notification bar, it is a plus to have it on my lock screen, this app doesn't have either. I have a constant notification that Eversense is connected but no blood sugar displaying... Also, on the graph you cannot go back to check exactly what was the number of you Blood Sugar at a certain time, you can only see the graph. There is no follow app for Android. The Placement Guide is nice.

Not very user friendly so far. I don't like having to scroll to enter in numbers. Also to access entering in notes is a pain. Also can't share too family which is why I got this in the first place. Will not be getting a second chip implanted when it's time to come around.

Love the system not the app, I got the system so my husband could follow me and that is not possible with android. Talked to the rep before insertion and she said it could share, but when I got it and called customer service and they asked for a screenshot of the app because it "should" share but it does not. Its a great system but until I can share on an android, I'll be moving back to dexcom temporarily. Sucks cause I paid the second sensor implant and will not be getting it.

I love this app It has nice graphing and colors to make it fun and enjoyable to monitor your blood levels all thru the day-and-night I actually prefer it over dexcom The only thing I would add is to add times on the day graph instead of guessing with not even 1 time in the entire graph.

Can you please fix this trash of an app. I'm so sick of spending 15 minutes every morning to try and get my transmitter connected. If my headphones, and every other goddamned Bluetooth device can automatically connect, I'm not sure why you have such problems with a medical device. Fix this ASAP!

I wish the app allowed you to see your glucose on the lock screen and pull down menu

The Eversense CGM is a game changer! I am well into my second sensor and the control over my Type 1 Diabetes gets better every day. Happy to report that my A1c has dropped a full point since using this product! *Update* Apparently, the bridge program is a bunch of malarkey. Eversense hasn't paid Byram for either of the sensors I have had placed, and I have now been sent to collections twice for their screwups. Rapidly losing stars... This needs to be fixed, NOW.

My sensor stopped working at 20 days. Had to wait weeks to get it a replacement.

Bri. B. Dec 29, 2019

Decent app. Has frequent trouble connecting. Needs glucose visable for locked screen and notifications. Need to be able and type your calibration value in vs scrolling.

Ed. M. Nov 19, 2019

Great app. Everything in app is easy to see and understand. This is a great device if you want to trully want to manage your glucose levels. Would love an android watch app like the one for apple.

The screen seems zoomed in. I cant read what the BG reads and then the graph looks zoomed out its so small i cant see anything on it. UPDATED: Uninstalled and reinstalled and now it works great

C.. E. H. May 10, 2020

Wish it worked on my Galaxy watch. Must need calibrations. You can let the transmitter self calibrate for a couple days but it seems to have a difference to of +/- 15.

The system is too difficult to operate. They concept of it is excellent but it is too difficult to get set up and operate

Jef. N. Jun 28, 2019

love sensor, hate the app. you should atleast have this one as built out as the IOS one. lack of widget, no lockscreen number, no app for smartwatches. No ability to share with others, come on!

Law. D. Oct 30, 2021

Recent trouble with new sensor being seen by transmitter. Unsure of why. Have transmitter over insert site on arm.

Aar. M. Jan 31, 2020

Great when it works but the amount of troubleshooting you go through on androids is kinda ridiculous.

Seb. I. H. Sep 11, 2019

Crashes constantly. No way for loved ones to see my sugars. Going back to Dexcom G6 when these last 10 weeks are up.
