Ever since the update 2.0 dropped i've lost my guild, my friend and the will to play. The game got even more aggressive with it's microtransaction strat as there are now content locked behind "paid gems". The fun part about the game, the strategy, is gone as most battles are automated now. Gold quests are gone making grinding pretty harsh. So many new items were added but resulted in lots of confusion instead of helping. Even profile pictures costs twice as much as two 10x pulls which is 50+€..

Full Pay to Play. Once you're done with offline story mode which takes like 3hrs or less to complete, is full pay to play. Since you can't do much without mana which takes forever to refill. Is movement base, no like the open world map of the story line. Is like a monopoly game after you complete the story. Forgot about catching monsters. That's done too, no exploring, no catching monsters, none of the things they advertised after you're done with offline mode. I REPEAT . FULL PAY TO PLAY.

All in all this is a great and entertaining game, however some of the puzzles are seemingly impossible to complete with the given monsters and their turn line up. In my opinion that is something to be checked out and fixed asap as, eventually, it could just drive people to give up on the game.

It is a great game and I must and most certainly agree with some of the points mentioned by other reviews. Once you complete the offline campaign you get the option to play the online version which isn't bad but you can't catch any monsters whatsoever. The new edition of the load screen(with the white fox) makes the game unbearable as it was fast to load and move across the menu, now you have to wait a good few seconds which after some time can be tiring. Also good luck getting.

Evertale has a lot of potential to the story, characters and overall art that is displayed. The only thing(s) that brings this game down is the false advertising, a story that doesn't really stick well with the audience, and the infinite second wind ability (Hold Ground) during battles. Not only that but the difficulty of the game spikes dramatically after a certain period within the game. Please to anyone playing or going to play DO NOT waste your money or time on this mobile game!

The game itself seems decent. Good artwork, music and turn base battles are pretty fun but the controls can be quite annoying, eg.when talking to npc. The big problem I'm having with this game is that it keeps saying that I'm not connected to the internet (when I am) so I can't access most of the content. Therefore, I'll be uninstalling..

Gotta say. I still have more problems that outweigh my fun. The app freezes when I get to most things besides the tower. You wanna do an event? Awww man looks like your battle is done and the game crashed. Guess you gotta start over. Wanna go through the story? You can't, it's gonna freeze up. At least when it's in the online story mode. Fix this now. I wanna do stories and other stuff

This is a really solid game. No, not just "for a mobile game", it's a good game overall. The only drawback is the monetization. Gems are very expensive compared to other games, especially when you factor in the drop rates for characters. Everything else is excellent; controls, difficulty, additional content, story - nothing here falls short of excellent. It's a shame that the gatcha offers such slim chances for reward for so much investment- especially when other games do it so much cheaper.

I just played the game and it's really good game. Worth of paying to play this game. However, after I cleared Story, Chapter 1, my paid soul stones suddenly disappeared. Before I finish the Chapter 1, it's still there at summon. But now, it is like, the game suddenly reset my purchasment. But still, the VIP counted to lv 1.Is this some kind of bug? If it's a bug please fix it. I enjoyed the game but this bug can definitely ruined my experience overall. Regardless, thanks for the great game.

A shame Game is nothing like the ads which i should have expected from a mobile game in this day and age. On top of it the fighting in this game is repetitive and unrewarding, the boss fights are too easy in story mode and and story itself is garbage. The fights outside story mode are equally boring but the major problem with them is that it has nothing to do with skill. They just toss boss enemies with last stand and a last ditch healing move that heals them full/ half health.

Evertale used to be all about building a team that can synergize to overcome whatever situations are thrown at you. Now it is all about coming up with enough green potions to raise up any random collection of 16 SSR characters to lvl200, because practically all of the new content is auto-controlled by the dumbest AI of all time. If I hadn't already invested so much time prior to the change, and I wasn't a fan of collecting characters, I'd have quit months ago.

Wasted potential. The gameplay is EXTREMELY BORING, The gacha system is EXTREMELY BAD. The opponents literally mowed my characters and this problem cannot easily be fixed by upgrading your characters as the later opponents would just mow them down without struggle. There's nothing special about the story and characters too because it's just another generic fantasy with a predictable twist. One of the worst gacha game I've ever "played".

I managed to download this game when it was free. It is honestly really fun and difficult when you play it entirely free to play. Nothing feels impossible and everything feels fair in the game. I would of given it five stars because of the correct amount of advertising. Not too much yet still there. I do want to say that the offline mode had better exploration and grinding for catchable monsters. I will though lower it to four because the devs had removed the catching monsters in the online part

I really enjoy the game and have been playing it on and off, but I'm disappointed that after the offline mode both open world and catching monsters are both gone and your left with a candy crush like map. Love the turn based game play and character design tho. Solid 7/10

Amazing game, paid .99 cents for it and it's worth every penny, I wish the offline story had more to it instead of the linear progressing online story mode but I have had a lot of fun collecting gear, heroes, and monsters the soul gem drawings are a bit gimmicky but it doesn't take anything away from the overall story and theme of the game 😀. I love the characters and their stories and can't wait to see what the new updates and events have in store for me.

If you are unpatient and unlucky,then this game might be not for you. This game forces you to spend money. I haven't spent money on this game yet except the fee that you buy from playstore. But I can already see it going there since it's so indane how low the drop rates are. And worst of all, the lack of beginner rewards. It's just insane how we only get few summons. Setting that aside, the story is engaging not gonna lie. It's just a bit of a turn off that begimmers don't get good stuff.

It's a good RPG so far by the end of chapter 1. The story is good and interesting, and also I have no idea where the plot is going. Which is a good thing because I want to go on a adventure that is uncertain and unpredictable. I've played too many rpg's that don't understand that what a good rpg needs is a unpredictable plot so we feel like we're on the adventure with the main characters. I love the monster capturing mechanics and the unique encounters of all kinds.
