Evil Apples: A Dirty Card Game

It's a lot of fun. It would get a 5star except for the fact that I bought the deal they had years ago where I paid a one time fee and got all the decks forever from that point on. But no. As soon as I had to get a new phone, for some reason I lost my "all decks" deal. Along with all my extras ( like being able to sleep anyone, no limits, and being able to hold a buttload of cards at once, things like that ). But nope. Lost it all. STILL building it up. Not thrilled abt that.

Since the new update it won't let me chat if I'm judging, and I've had a lot more accidental card swipes. Also they should totally add an undo button! 😊 Great game tho! I haven't spent a cent on it and find no trouble amassing a collection of decks and power ups. Great to play with friends if you can't get together all the time.

After updating to the latest Android version, the game seems to be having resolution issues. Everything is much smaller like I'm using a tablet version of the game. Update: the game has intrusive ads now that you can't exit out of and when I try to it just clicks on the ad.

So disappointed. Ive played since 2019 and have loved it. I have earned nearly every deck. I started having errors when trying to start a new game so I attempted to reinstall and now can't log back in. The code sent to my phone number wont work and the email link just takes me right back to the "enter email address" page. I want to keep playing but dont wont if I have to completely start over.

Evil cakes are unreasonably priced at two dollars for fifteen of them. The game often gives a notification that says you've earned a free cake, but it doesn't give me any free cakes. So I literally can't play the game publicly unless I spend money. Also advertisements are often impossible to exit and force you to leave a match. The game is however very fun when you are able to play it so I'll give it that.

Can't give it more than a star. After downloading, the app prompted me to make an account by entering an email. After doing so and getting emailed the link to confirm, it just sends me to a web page version of the Google play store to download it again. Opening it in a different browser doesn't work, and opening it on desktop just sends it into an infinite authComplete loading loop. Until this is fixed, worst rating I can give it.

Really? It was a great app until the developers got greedy and added 30-45sec ads they the judge has to sit through before they can see and pick a winning card. Really slows the game down, is tedious, annoying, and completely unnecessary. As if they weren't making enough with decks and subscriptions. Those were worth it. $2 to now remove these ads? Nah. Not worth using anymore.

First of all, I HAD ALL exp packs & items back in 2016. Then an update wiped EVERYTHING and I couldn't get it restored.. so delete. I decided to try again today.... No way to restore... Ok. But the ONLY games you can actually play are the ones that cost cake!!! I've tried starting at least 25+ free games, diff variety & NOT ONE PERSON joined any of them. WHY HAVE FREE GAMES IF YOU CANT EVEN GET ONE TO START? Yes, Ive added several ppl!!!

Inconsistent modes. With new update (April 2022) when you select a new public game it only gives you Classic and Wildcard modes, but after finishing a game you can select Bizarro, Survivor, etc that no one else will join because they don't see the option.

Basically it's cards against humanity but for your phone, so naturally it's great. My only criticism: you can't see which of your friends are online, so making a private game becomes difficult sometimes

The update destroyed the game, random stupidly long ads, won't update my games list automatically, cake reminders gone plus no ads available for cake. It's difficult to differentiate judging from playing rounds and rounds. New chat isn't obvious when looking at active games. If it wasn't for my actual friends I'd uninstall.

The game is awesome, but I haven't been able to start a round since march because of some runtime Failure error, and I haven't been able to get any help from support

Great game, had some good laughs. Sometimes you get weirdos that ruin the fun of the game, but that's just life. The only glitch I have is sometimes my whole screen for the game, will zoom in and I can't seem to unzoom it.

I've played this game for years and LOVE the concept. However, the same issue has been taking precedence for years. Too many bots and too many other players who snooze out, cards that don't make any sense are chosen for personal gain when players are losing. The player base itself needs a good cleaning out and the game would be perfect. As it stands, games with random people take way too long and often everyone snoozes out anyway. No one wins.

its okay. esp whwn all your friends arw online. Not NEARLY as good as CAH but it works. I do have some things as ideas. Make smaller matches. Also if a thing can be put in to place that puts like minded ppl together as priority while making random groups. None of the ppl iv been paired with have been that funny. Also none of them ever pick me, nit because the cards are wack, but because we dont share the same humor. I never want to play online for coins bec it just isnt fun. ranking Systems!!

Really? I haven't played in years and I was so excited to hop back into one of my favorite games, only to discover yet another disgusting cash grab. It's almost a pay to win (base cards aren't very original) but IT IS a PAY TO PLAY! Ridiculous how you're going to make people pay actual money, just to keep playing. I don't remember that being a thing before. Whatever, I'm repulsed. Don't download it. Also, you're guaranteed to have at least 1-2 inactive players during a match. It isn't regulated

Have a lot of fun with friends, and the game plays really well. Connecting with others is easy, and there's plenty of cards constantly added. I'd rate of 5 stars, but not being able to access my previous account and a previous purchase that entitled me to all decks and all future decks really hurts.

It's Cards against humanity, it always makes me laugh out loud, the only annoying problem is that people often disconnect and you end up playing against a random A.i.

UPDATE: Despite working closely with them to get this ridiculous problem fixed, it is still happening. Crazy. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Great game, but started playing a ridiculous music loop everytime the app is opened, regardless of any settings, and continues to play outside of the app, overriding any music apps, etc. The game is now unplayable & this needs to be fixed.

Used to be a fun game. I got a new phone and now the game only shows up on part of my screen. It's like it shrunk. I've tried multiple different settings options and nothing fixes it. Bad bug.

Amazing game. I started playing back in 2017 and came back in 2022 after playing on iOS, I emailed the support team asking about restoring my previous purchases because I couldn't afford them again, and they were super cool about it and had it back on my account within 12 hours of my email. Fantastic and fun game with a great staff behind it!

Ever since the last update the game crashes after almost every turn. Plus you can't access chat if you're the judge anymore.

I am having a blast but the questions do sometimes get repeated a lot. A bit more randomness in the questions would be great.

I've played this since right after it came out, earned/bought all the cards. Got a new phone and was forced to update. Now I have to buy them all over again? That's not cool!

This game is very similar to Cards against humanity but with It's own twist. Evil Apples is a very fun and funny game!

If you like cards against humanity then this game is for you. I have played this game for years one of the few that has remained on my phone without deleting. I love how you now get free cake every 4 hours now. I've tried other games similar but this is the one that has remained. My only disappointment is you can't tell if your friends are online. Or if say your fb friends are playing
