Evil Defenders

There is definitely an element of grind to it, and that's mostly all you need rather than strategy ( unlike, say Bloons.. ).. BUT can we please take a moment to celebrate a TD game that's not completely buried an ads and manipulative dark patterns? I saw one prompt for "buy extra levels" or something, idk, I bought the levels before I finished reading. I grew up with the shareware "first bits free, pay if you want the full game", and I so so so prefer that to the constant ads! Also, games good.

The game it is actually an Awesome game. Really great graphics, colors,sounds, and music. I would have given it a 5 star rating, except for one Major problem. On the easiest setting, with lots of up grades to the Towers and stuff, its still WAY to hard for me. The easy setting should be; well EASY. You have 4 other settings for people to use for a bigger challenge. I payed like $8 to play and on the 8th level its almost impossible to beat. Looks like I need to find another game to play. So sad.

Best tower defense I've played in a while, though I don't like having to choose between unlocking upgrades and unlocking new levels since they're both done with the same currency. Some levels are also much more difficult than others in the lower difficulties because there are too few waves to earn enough currency for advanced towers to get 3 stars. But worth my time, 5 stars.

The game has so much potential. Superb graphics, funny dialogue, lots of towers to choose from. The only thing making it unplayable is money. You will need money in order to properly play, otherwise you would have to grind extremely hard ,with insanely difficult levels which can't be crossed untill you do some good amount of upgrades.

Great game and keeps you busy for quite some time. Challenging enough and most maps can be beat with various combinations. You only get 3 levels to start, but the rest are easily unlocked either by accumulation of souls or by paying a few bucks. the rewind feature is a great idea and i wished more games had it. You don't have to restart from scratch if you get a bad spawn or weren't paying attention. Generous with souls, so you can easily farm to unlock and max everything.

Graphics are good although the user-interface could do with more polishing. Some buttons get off the edge of the screen, making them impossible to tap. A bigger problem is the gameplay, which is too boring and bland. It brings nothing new to the TD genre. Also , pay-to-win after four stages.

Probably the best TD game I've played. A few small issues include: character dialogue gets old really fast and there's a steep learning curve figuring out the correct tower combinations. You also can't get all of the achievements for some reason. However gameplay is challenging and is a lot of fun. It took me awhile but I was able to beat all levels and max out the star rewards. Now I'm just trying to get all achievements but as I said bugs are preventing me from doing so.

Need to repeat to build yourself up, but is still good to play. As you advance through the game an unlock more new powers for your towers it starts to get easier yet also gets you hooked in wanting to unlock ever power possible lol. In doing this the game gives you goals to achieve making you want to keep playing for hours. No need to spend real cash unless you want more maps

Game looked decent. However it bugs out on me after a few rounds, screen goes all glitchy and units go invisible or have big flashing blocks around them. 3rd Scenario crashes my tablet completely after a few waves everytime I try it. Unplayable games get 0 stars but I can't go below 1. To those that can play on their devices, hopefully it stays functional for you

Is it fun? Yes absolutely! I love tower defense games, in fact they are my favorite! BUT when you are only 5 levels in and can't get past it with out spending money for upgrades, I'm done. It's boring losing 50 times after upgrading and taking the time and money to get better and it doesn't work. Other than that the towers are great and the story is fun. But, I'll put it down for now and come back later.

Making a game which allows replayability for upgrade is a great way to attract dedicated TD perfectionists. Purchasing all content with in game currency is very nice. I have played up to the first three levels on inferno. I like the enemy pairings. It's interesting that the heroes are randomized so each time you replay the map you may fight a different combination of bosses. The map abilities are useful but expensive to utilize the powers at the potentency required at higher levels. Keep grindin

The game is good, but the app developers try to fool you by making you think that you will get extra coins purchasing the map, however thats the price for the map in ingame currency. So for example. The extra maps will cost you far more expensive then if you just purchase enough in Game currency and use it to buy the map with them. I believe this is called decieving people to get more money out of them and that unethical. And refund will not be provided.

This is a super fun game. It is my favourite tower defence game, even better than the Kingdom Rush series IMO (I played them all) because I think the difficulty/progress is better balanced, and there is more variability in the tower types. No ads, and you don't *have* to pay to win... but I liked this game so much I paid money to unlock levels and support the developers. More like this please! Great fun.

It's an ok game, but why do the makeup of each wave change on repeated playthroughs? I played through level 5 over and over, and each time the final 3 waves was different, different enemies, different boss enemies. That's pretty stupid, it was like the enemies were changing based on the towers I had out, making it virtually impossible to get 3 stars. Is this how you force people to spend money?

Awesome game, well developed with many levels and difficulties. Players can customize their own builds or preferred types of towers, so there are various combinations to work with. The best thing is you can buy the whole game by in-game currency if u are patient enough. Also, little to no ads. I'll definitely support this developer with other games and willing to pay if it's as awesome as this.

This is one of the most fun and enjoyable tower defense games I have ever played! I highly recommend this game to anyone who wants a tower defense game that is not pay to play or unfair or too difficult(ps the game is still difficult but not frustratingly difficult). This game is truly, enjoyable. I hope the developers continue to add even more fun and challenging missions/ maps or enemies to the game.

Good game. Grindy at times. Endgame needs work. Ignore the reviewers saying there's a Paywall to progress.You can pay ingame currency to unlock levels.I finished all levels without paying anything.Yes you may need to replay the same level a few times on increasing difficulty to farm currency to pay for the next level but that's part of the progression. Not ideal but not a deal breaker either. 1st few levels are the hardest in each tier. Inferno is imo the easiest difficulty. Overall worth a play

Some levels get long & bosses have cheap gimmicks the first time they're used. Boring to replay 30-wave level just because enemies were summoned in the last wave that speed past the towers you've built. Controls are sluggish, especially moving troops. Similar to other TD games, defense against air targets is underpowered & imbalanced from the start. Towers frustratingly don't target the frontmost enemy, letting them pass! Later levels are poor designs of just spamming enemy counts.

Always expecting something that resembles the old TD games, built for fun, not monetization, so that's my fault. Clearly the difficulty ramps up to force the player to spend money or uninstall. I did the latter, as what we're given for free doesn't really provide a game worth spending money on.

Wow the pay wall. I downloaded this one on a win and opened it, to be pleasantly suprised by a really good game. It scratched my itch for tower defense with solid challenges and upgrades. Then came the disappointment a pay wall at level three. Suddenly the fun levels with awesome building difficulty became a monotonous grind fest. Now its a chore to play.

Fantastic game. You can totally advance by playing to mine the game currency and get upgrades to beat the hard levels and unlock new maps. Well balanced, beautiful graphics and addictive for sure. I am missing the detailed zoomin to see better the characters and the towers, but that's a minor issue compared to how satisfactory the overall game play is.

Whoever said this isn't Pay to Win must have been paid to write that review. Yes you can technically unlock more than 3 levels for free but you would be playing the first 3 levels for hours to do so, and then you have no skulls to upgrade the towers so you'll end up playing those first 3 levels over and over, or spending $2 every time you want the next 3 levels. This is one of the worst Pay 2 Win games out there.

Been playing this game about a day. The people were right when they were saying this was a super grindy, grinder. You will play each level about a hundred times before you can get enough gold to upgrade your Towers to advance to the next level. Other than that not a bad game.

Pay to play via grind mechanics. It's a good central game, if a bit repetitive in terms of enemy and music, but you will need to play each level sooooo many times to get enough souls to progress... Unless of course you buy them! Uninstalled after 2 days.

Despite good Game quality and concept I have to rate it the least because there is no back up support from the team if the player has to format / change its device even after paying for some levels and that too after signing through Google play. Crashes are always there repeatedly. Keeps on Crashing especially in Wastelands on summoning MacHellman. . Kindly improve if you guys want to stay in coming years.
