EVO Flow Planner System

Bad. Just when I start to get in the flow of things- it crashes. I cant even open up the app without it crashing. I have a note 8 and it was working flawlessly for 2 weeks. Hope they fix it soon. The book wasnt cheap. It was fixed for a little but as of 2/1/2020 its having the same issues. Sad. Wish they would just dedicate more time to streamlining the whole experiance.

I love the planner, but it doesn't work with the app. The app crashes a lot, as people have mentioned in other reviews, so I can't really use it. Not to mention it doesn't let you edit any data you put in, so if you made a mistake and uploaded the wrong page, you can't go back and change that. Overall, the planner is great, the app is awful -- if the app could work, I'd definitely give this planner five stars.

So far (day one) this app has been working well. There is a bug when it comes to setting a Ritual (only unique feature). As you type in your answer for a ritual the letters don't show on the screen. I relied on my autocorrect keyboard and ended up setting the ritual I want. I may have changed the wording initially but I didn't want to mess with it.

This app is really buggy. The planner has issues too. Not a single QR code in my planner went anywhere. All of them gave me 404 errors. When I try to enter my monthly ritual, it doesn't show what I'm typing. I tried to change it, but the change doesn't save. Also, May+June+July together have 92 days but the planner only has 90. There's grammar errors in it too. This is a really great concept but there needs to be a lot more attention to detail for what it costs.

App needs a lot of work. Sounds like this is a port of their iPhone app. It does have a lot of potential, but doesn't fit the screen very well (Pixel 3XL) and I have never gotten the QR scanner to work. Additionally I can't find a place to turn off the sound when you complete a task. Lots of potential but a two star first effort.

0 stars is more appropriate! This is billed as a planner and app working together for best effect. The app worked for me for about a week, then completely stopped functioning. I've uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times...nothing. I've tried contacting customer service... nothing. I like the planner, but it works far better with the app integration. Maybe save your $ on this very expensive planner ($40 for 90 day planner!!) until they get the app actually working.

Frustrating that I can't scan my pages because my phone isn't good enough. The weird little creature that is displayed whenever I submit my daily metrics is completely out of place and makes the whole experience feel childish. When manage to ignore both of those experience-ruining aspects, the focus on incremental goals actually is helping me. The whole system is a great idea but needs a ton of refining.

I was really excited about the app/planner combo. Unfortunately, starting today the app only intermittently loads and crashes every time I try to scan in a day. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app with no change. I hope this is a bug that can be remedied with the next release.

Planner is amazing. Software not so much. Planner is focused and includes only what is needed, except for the tie-in to software, which sounds nice in theory, but - constantly need to re-login; software crashes (1/31 build broke something) ; can't edit or revisit past dates, can't add additional online comments about an entry.

Not once have I been able to scan a page yet. And I just updated my profile info. No manual entry or even scroll wheel to enter my birth date? Just a calendar that I had to either swipe of tap the arrow to go month by painful month. I'm almost 50 - do you know how many swipes that is? The whole point of the planner and app is to become more efficient and mindful, but the app is the least efficient thing I've ever tried to use.

The planner is great, but the app is pretty useless. Scanning is near impossible, even with a great camera. Very frustrating, especially since they stress the importance of using the app and the planner together for maximum effectiveness and efficiency.

Planner is cool, but app is very meh. It doesn't scan the pages, so I have to enter them manually. Also, there's no way to change the dates once entered. I tend to do my daily reviews after midnight bc night owl. If I forget to change the date, then the stats don't add up.

I really wanted this app to work well with my journalling, but the app isn't very intuitive and the journal just doesn't work for me. I do think that the thought behind this concept is great though.

App continually crashes on multiple devices. I have tried to use this app on a Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 4 XL. After installing and uninstalling the app multiple times with clearing all stored app data and cache, every time I open the app and try to access the settings the app crashes and closes. Also, when I scan in my week, and review my EVO Life Score I only have one view, compared to the iPhone app which has 5 different views of the EVO Life Score. Also, the Focus area doesn't exist.

I honestly like the part where I write in the planner. The technology of writing in the planner daily really works. However, I'm not exactly that enthused with scanning the barcode. It never works. I'm really hoping that they devise another system that really tapped into my brain and tells me some information based upon what I manually have to put in.

The journal/app combo is compelling and has a lot of potential, but it's not very well-realized or mature yet. I'd prefer the app tell me more useful data about my days other than I tend to be less productive on Wednesdays. That's a cool insight but it's the only one.

rating as 2 stars bc parts of the app do work if you manually input your data. however, the sales pitch for the solution shares that use of the planner and app is as easy as open and scan, but scanning has not worked but a single time in the 3-4 weeks ive had the planner and app. really wanted to rate as 1 star but had to give credit that manual input does technically work.

I recently ordered my journal wanted to download the app to check it out before the journal got here. I can not get past the sign in. It crashes every single time and from the other reviews I have read this isnt a new problem. Those in charge of fixing the app and creating the codes or whatever need to get on this issue. If I have paid for a journal that has an app specifically created to use with the journal then I expect the app to work regardless of whether it is android or iPhone.

Update 9-8-2020: The app is broken again. For the past several weeks it isn't saving to the correct day. The app doesn't let me log in anymore. I can't even register a new account. Edit: works on my Samsung tablet but not on my Pixel. Edit #2: Evo App is now broken on both of my devices. It crashes at the login screen. Edit #3: Now it's started crashing when I attempt to scan my day. Comes back with an write that it can't find the user.

I love the planner but the app needs work. Scans from the day aren't consistently saving, there's no way to go back and edit mistakes from a day once you've submitted, and worst of all the days of the week don't match up in the progress overview (what I entered for Sunday shows up as Saturday, Monday as Sunday etc). You guys know how important details like that are to certain brain types so please fix it!

The app is not reliable. It's a challenge to get a good scan which isn't the end of the world because I often manually enter the data. However, the daily entries are often not recorded on the correct day. For example, today is January 1, 2021. I entered my progress and it doesn't show up for January 1st, it's recorded as December 31, 2020. I don't know what the issue is since it's been happening for months now.

The app doesn't scan. No one calls me back to refund me and cancel the subscription that I never signed up for. Don't buy it! If you can't sit all.day and tediously tend to this app, struggle with scans that don't work, fill in the calendar dates the tasks and activities and Reflections...and for sure so not buy if you need customer service. No scan means no video access....so now what!? -Star

The app is just okay. The ability to change entries is a big miss. i can't edit the dates of entries so even though I've journaled every day, if it doesn't get entered on that day the streak is broken which in turns skews the stats.

While the planner is a good idea and probably works well if you use it, the company's business practices are deceptive. I was not aware that I had somehow signed up for a monthly subscription, my fault, but good luck getting it cancelled. There is nothing on the website for cancelling, I have emailed several times over the last few days with no response. I'm going try to call them to cancel but I'm probably just going to have to cancel my credit card to get the charges to stop. Clearly they want to make it as difficult as possible.

Fortunately, this is rating the app not the actual journal. But now being able to log in with out the app crashing is unacceptable. Considering this app is designed to be in conjunction with the journal. Please fix the app so that I can get the full effect of this Project Evo process.
