Excellent game! Just have an error when I start the game all of a sudden. Unknown exception, can't cast dynobj to #state. Some help would be awesome. Already tried reinstalling. Think it might be my saves that broke? Is there a way to go back to a previous one? Edit It seems to have gotten fixed. I just lost an hour of gameplay, but that's fine. I don't know if you guys did anything, just glad I can play again Edit 2: nope same issue again
Thank you for that cardboard box in a prison... Loved e metal cog reference and nickname solid snail... It's early on but definitely good, even the five final fantasy games all referenced, four in the intro boss area... If you can't tell, enjoying every minute, definitely worth playing the first that was more just a nod to the history of games than this being a full on what if elements crossed over and how would it work... Well evoland 2 perfectly answers that
Much better and more complete than the first game, very sassy and funny , love the graphics and story so far. Why am I rating it it so low? I absolutely abhor the f ing controls, i have to push so hard on the "joystick " to make the characters move on my phones, that playing the game is tiring and annoying, makes playing the game a complete chore. Once and if this is fixed i will update my review until then this is seriously hindering My gaming experience with this game.
Overall a pretty good game. It hit me right in the nostalgia. The controls can be wonky and frustrating (especially during platforming) and certain sections overstay their welcome, but all in all definitely worth playing
Much longer and more enjoyable than Evoland 1. Lots of puzzles that really make you think. Story is deep and very complex. Pleasant suprise from the more light hearted short story of its predecessor. Highly recommend. Im about 9 hours in and there is still much to go!
It's fun and neat. and you will probably get stuck at some point if so google what to do, or don't. but what I recommend is don't skip text, and take screen shots of stuff that seems important 10/10 would recommend
One of the best purchases I had so far in the Google play store. It really is worth it. I love everything about it especially the puzzle solving sections and how challenging it can be. It's full of gaming references as well as having it's own A e s t h e t i c. Chef's kiss *mwah* 5 stars rewarded 10 outta 10 would recommend !
I've completed 100% within a 30hr time. But I only got 36/38 achievements. It's says play more to reveal achievements, but I couldn't find any. Also there's one item missing in the boat, flying machine and that time traveling gadget section. There's a fourth one, but I couldn't find any?
It's fun and all. Note on a glitch. When hunting ghosts In the Haunted woods, at the top right at the exit, I got stuck after going left and ended up stuck on the right path and couldn't move forcing a restart.
Great game, gameplay is fun, story is decent, challenge is moderate ( the aerial fighting is pretty difficult due to being spam shot), and the graphics are great. Overall one of the better I have played so far.
Game is amazing, I love the jokes, card battles and the storyline, the controls are not as smooth as I would have hoped, made things difficult at times. Hint for last boss, use your potions 👍
Best game I've played in a long time! I love the premise of this game. Decent story, fun throwbacks to games I grew up with, and still a tad tricky in places to keep you working. Highly recommended. Biggest shortcoming of the game is the touch screen controls although it seems you could use a controller.
Literally unplayable because of controls. With gamepad slightly better, but still game is total downgrade compared to the first part of Evoland. Worse in every aspect.
Glitchy. Keeps giving an error "Uncaught Exception Can't cast dynobj to #State" I have cleared data and cache. Uninstalled and reinstalled. It refuses to open and ice barely started playing
Like the first Evoland, the onscreen controls are meh. The game is best played with a controller. Haven't finished it yet but the game is just as captivating, if not more, as the first one. I hope it lasts longer.
It was great, the quality was great and the story was awesome too. But now I can't progress because there is a glitch in the game.
Love this game! I did find a bug where I was stuck in the coliseum without anyone to fight. Which I guess would be the trigger to progress the story
Game does not launch. No response from developers. I have a useless icon I paid good money for on a previous phone that is now useless.
One of my absolute favorite games has made it to mobile and I'm thrilled that, so far, it seems to be an excellent port! I'm playing with a controller and it feels very close to the original -- loading screens between areas, but that's understandable. And I can play in Spanish! Last I checked, the PC had only French and German, so being able to replay it while learning Spanish is wonderful. Guess we'll see if the bullet hell area is even worse on mobile... if I get that far. Recommended!
Game definitely does NOT support gamepads/controllers and since im playing on a Chromebook. This cant be played any other way.
Does not start, stays on shiro games loading screen for like 5 seconds and then the app closes.
Was a huge fan of this game but recently came back to it and now it won't open without crashing, please fix so I can give this game the 5 stars it deserves
Played the first one loved the concept. Seconds also really good just wish it played like the first one a little more either way great sequel
3 stars because this game is poorly optimized for larger screens. Otherwise the game is amazing and is awesome for entertainment
Story is fascinating, and gameplay is fun. Unfortunately the controls on mobile are very bad. They feel clunky and hard to use because of the way the gamepad is made. There are some portions of the game that depend a lot on precision controls , and this game lacks that precision, which makes it extremely frustrating at times. Maybe the PC version is better. Would be a 5/5 game if the controls would be better.
A really fun, full fledged RPG, I'm around 82% complete and enjoying it immensely. The evolution/transitions are very well handled and fit nicely into the story, and there is a very interesting and pretty deep story. Good dialogue, sufficiently challenging quests, thoughtful puzzles, and lots to explore. I'm playing with a controller, and I think it's the best way to go.
Very nice, the story is much more complete. Different kind of gameplays. However I loved unlocking the basic functionalities in the first one. It missed me a bit in this one. Still, I enjoy this game even after +9hours of gameplay (I still haven't finished it yet). Edit: 80% done after ~24h of gameplay. There are lots of details, and things I didn't discover yet. It's very nice and entertaining to have several types of gameplays in one coherent game. Much work has been put into it, I love this game.
