Not a puzzle game as advertised. Mostly an idle game. Puzzles are about 3% of the actual game and could be completely eliminated without any changes in gameplay. Also, the puzzles aren't really challenging and you get to play only 5 per day total. Truth in advertising matters. So if you want an idle game. Cool. If you want a puzzle game, don't bother.

For a game that advertises that they hate games where the game play isn't what's advertised, this was very disappointing. What's shown in the ads are actually mini games that you have to unlock by building a city. Advertised itself as a puzzle game. Is actually an empire building game with timed resource farming with occasional puzzles you can unlock. The puzzles are fun. The slog to unlock them is not. Not worth the time.

After the ads, was surprised to find this was another city building game. I've done a lot for Tapjoy, & it's 1 of the better ones: the graphics are good, the UI is smooth, & it seems to be well balanced & generous with resources. It's downsides: At some point you stop getting tutorials/reminders for new buildings & just have to check empty spaces yourself. Similar situation w learning to fight. Worst, it auto uses speedups that go over the time, which can be detrimental w big ones.

Too glitchy for an expensive game, update: it just keeps getting worse. Every two weeks is an update and it comes with tons of crashes. I can't even get into the app right now. These updates take up massive space on your phone and it's telling me I'm out of space even though I have 4 GB free. In game it is very glitchy, when marches are returning to your keep they are stuck at 0 seconds left in the return for about 5 to 8 seconds. During this time you can be attacked and lose everything.

After playing this game for 2+ years I have changed my ranking from 4 stars to 1, this game is definitely designed as a "pay to win" type of war strategy and kingdom builder game. People have spent ALOT in order to gain access to higher levels, it is possible to achieve high levels without paying, but not easy. The game mechanics are designed to constantly drain resources in order to protect yourself.

Beautiful ads might be tempting to download the game, but then it hits harsh reality of another buildings game. At some point game can be generous at throwing time buffs, but you need to be buying them as for example armoury will take 67 days(!!!) to build. Puzzles are nothing like advertised with them being limited (4 after big upgrade or 6 repetitive daily with 1 of them being buggy).Animations are awful and game is boring as what's the purpose of upgrading apart from puzzles. Pros: No ads

Way to many issues staying logged into the game and delays while playing. Even when on wifi. The game events are also designed for players at higher levels so it's really not fair to those that want to play and build but don't want to spend money on the constant bombardment of event packages that cost as high as $99. That's insane.

I left a review after trying this game because the primary content didn't match the ads. The developers left a reply saying I was wrong. It's NOT a puzzle game like the ads represent, it's a strategy game with a SMALL puzzle component. It absolutely did not match the ads, and I wish I could block future ads from them because I know how false the ads are now. This is false advertising plain and simple.

Just like many others have said, it's NOT like the ads. The puzzles are a side quest after spending hours 'upgrading' your city that unlocks... wait for it.... THREE PUZZLES AT A TIME. I just upgraded my Keep (town hall) to level 9 which took nearly a day by itself after a day of other upgrades to be able to upgrade the keep. Just to unlock THREE PUZZLES. so AT BEST you can get to play only three of those puzzles every 3 days IF you stay on top of upgrading the city exactly when you can.

Not really impressed with this game, first of all false advertising, I only downloaded this game because the ad video showed it was just a puzzle game, but when I downloaded it and started it turned out to be one of those build your civilization games, even the screenshots show just a puzzle game, I just wanted the puzzles. I think you should redo the ad video showing exactly what the game is, not have the person in the video lie right to you

I decided to download this game based on the ads showing a puzzle game. Where puzzles are an aspect of the game, they are secondary to a battle and city growth game...which I hate. I decided to give it a try anyway. I found that most of the times I earned gems they were never credited to my balance. Pointless to keep trying. I uninstalled in less than a week.

The game is actually an MMO war game similar to many such others in the market. It is ridicules how the app market itself as a puzzle game where the puzzles are a tiny bit side part of the game and in the daily routine activities, it is actually repeating itself every day, and is boring. It has a very nice UI. But it is full of bugs, on a daily basis, and opening a customer service ticket doesn't help much, since if it is answered, it takes weeks to months and always rejected.

Rubbish. it's a building/fighting/strategy game. If you want puzzles you have to build, train troops etc. can't somebody just have the puzzles with all the rubbish?? Uninstall..edited to add in response ..exactly!!! It's a strategy game but you're advertising it and showcasing it as a puzzle game. In the real world trading standards would have a field day. I downloaded this because your ad said it was not like all the other games who advertise that their games are puzzles. You lied too.

6 yr veteran. This game is run by scam artists now. Two years ago it was a good game, fairly balanced. Now, it's a shell of it's former self, designed to maximize profits. They keep adding new content but never fix the bugs it introduces. Everything costs money; the new gears, beasts, dragons all require you to spend and you can't compete without them. You used to be able to earn it by being active, instead of spending. They removed the skill factor and replaced it with a spending factor. Avoid

It does have the puzzles from the ads. But at its core its one of the stupid "build this, build that make city strong" games you can't skip it and you can't ignore it. The puzzles feel like an afterthought so that the developers could say "but it is in our game play/spend more to do puzzles" unless you love games like rise of kingdoms for its building aspects and want some bare minimum puzzle elements then don't download this. If you love that stuff then get it as it's not completely trash.

Why this game is NOT like the ads 1. Doesn't even mention about the premise behind those puzzle games, you pick and play as a country and build and level up 2. You have to level up in order to play the games. Which takes time, literally time, to make these buildings and upgrade unless YOU WANT TO PAY MONEY 3. The puzzles are basically side quests, it has no importance to the main game and the fact that they dress up their ads as if their games were about the puzzles and misleading people is sad

First, the clickbait, like everyone else, I thought the main game is the puzzle. But I guess it nevermind tho, I like how it based on historical, graphic was kind of okay with miniature and cute military doing the march. It is free to play but your growth as a monarch will be 5 times slower than those who actually paid something in the game, but still can enjoy the game. The only things I don't like from this game is the time to upgrade something, take tooo much time for an upgrade, overall ok

This game is super addicting. The colors are great, the graphics are great, and you get new prizes every so often. It lights up the reward center of one's brain like no other. Be careful while playing! If you're the type to lose half a day on games, it might behoove you to set an alarm so you can still do productive things with your day.

It is NOT the advertised game, however I have completely enjoyed the complexities of the actual game. It's a city building and war game where you see the most benefits while allied with other players. The community aspect is, for me, the most satisfying part. Without it I likely would have stopped playing ages ago. I joined for the puzzles, but I barely even play them any longer. Also it it ridiculously time consuming and addictive.

This game has potential to be a lot of fun, the user experience can be extremely frustrating!!! There is a translator, but it isn't terribly accurate. There will be brutal lag times and glitches, that will help you lose your troops, and stunt your development. Where this game REALLY stands out, is the customer service; it's TERRIBLE!! Have an issue? Contact C/S and have someone either try to gaslight you or ignore you altogether. If you don't screenshot everything, nothing happened. TERRIBLE!!!!

Since the last update, the game keeps freezing upon login. It kicks me out once it loads. And when I try to go to world map, the app freezes on the white screen! Please fix this and I will amend my low rating! (P.S. I'm on Android. Yes, I tried troubleshooting my phone and app MULTIPLE times and still no improvement!)

The new ads state the gameplay is exactly as the ad shows. This is completely misleading. It isn't a puzzle game, it's a city building game. I'm sure the game is fine, but not as advertised. Especially since they specifically state the game is as advertised. There's only a small portion of what the ad shows. It's a ripoff don't trust it

I really like this game but developers have been constantly modifying everything to make it more and more pay to win. It's an expensive game all ready and it's only getting more and more expensive. Current event they are advertising that you can get the event items without paying and that this isn't capped. But this is outright false. Many have written to them and they say it's completely random. Absolute lies. False advertising. Greed and a lack of ethics have obviously taken them over!!

Glitches galore that never get fixed. Update, after contacting support numerous times over the course of 10 days, providing over a dozen screen shots as requested on 2 separate occasions, days apart, was informed that their logs showed nothing wrong with the game and thanks for my understanding. I wish I could change rating to zero 0 stars .... **update after posting this review received response from support but nothing done to actually fix the issue. Lipservice only.

After seeing countless ads for this game I gave in and downloaded it on the premise that it was going to be a simple draw the pin game. While it certainly has lots of pull the pin games it's also a lot more. It's an emersive Risk like game that gets you invested from the beginning. I love the fact that I could start my own alliance and feel very bonded to the players in my squad. This is one of the reasons I haven't been able to stop playing that and the fact that the game is fun.

It is a fun game, but every time it updates they make it tougher to upgrade things. Trying to get people to spend more for the things they used to get a lot easier. You used to be able to trade goods for other goods you needed now thats not even an option. They make the boss's tougher to kill. But they do it slowly so you dont notice a drastic change.

Very nice game. I am happy with this experience. Hopefully, this game become more interesting and enjoyable in the future. Just I would like to request, the buildings upgrade time to be reduced because amazing things that I have found become less due to this long period of time to upgrade. Other than that, everything is ok.
