After the latest update this app does not seem to want to run on a phone running Android 9 yet it will work on Android 8. This needs to be sorted out as more and more phones will be using the latest version of Android. God only knows what will happen with Android 10. My other half is trying to deal with a house sale and cannot access the app as it closesitself immediately.
When it works the all is superfluous..... The app itself is another one of those web gateway apps, adding little functionality over simply using the website directly, and that is if you can get it to run. After a clean install on Android 10 you are able to login, but on subsequent launching the app fails to open at all.
Excellent portal and useful supporting app. Had a problem registering as mentioned by another user here as well. Gave the helpline a call. A helpful agent/person resent the registration email and apologised saying they are aware of a fault. I received a follow-up call as well to check/confirm with me if I could start using the eWay portal. I like the ease of knowing what actions are pending with me, a view of where I am in the journey towards completion, and most input forms were intuitive.
Got absolutely nowhere with using this app. Couldn't update anything, updates from me we're showing on the app but not going through to my conveyancer. In the end the entire process had to be done the old fashioned way by letter post.
For seemingly no reason access to my account on my device via this app was blocked. Also, app seems pointless as almost everything you do just takes you to the website. May as well just go straight to the website and skip the app.
I open the app it crashes and closes. Time after time. Yet if I open it from a link it works 50% of the time. Very frustrating especially as the task's involved are usually very lmportent.
Very easy to use app. Really good to have all of your conveyancing documents to hand during the whole process. Simply excellent.
Downloaded and uninstalled instantantly. As soon as I click the app is comes up "invalid server response" before even allowing me to enter credentials
Impossible to login since November. To make things worse, my conveyancer was replaced mid-process without letting me know. Not very reassuring.
I am yet to see the (android) app working so I can't truly rate it. Every time I try to open it up it immediately crashes and disappears.
Worked fine to begin with, now no longer loading. (Android user) Disappointing as it was useful to have a look at case progress at a glance
I am extremely disappointed by the whole app and website experience. Not working at all. It's been 2 weeks since none of them are working. Not fixed and no one can answer for how long this will continue.
Used this from October to January 19. Have to say it was great. Once you get used to what they ask for is far better than posting and going to a solicitor's. Worked all the time when I used it and can honestly say I couldn't fault it back then
Some features no longer work, seems best used as just an auto-login launcher for the webpage version, which is a time saver.
Never works. When you manage to login, the interface is far from friendly. I do not recommend this app in the slightest.
Okay when it works but every single time I open it it asks for my login credentials and then locks me out. I've stopped trying to use it and go straight to the website.
The app launched after first downloading and allowed me to sign in. After this however, the app no longer loaded. I have cleared cache, uninstalled and reinstalled but neither has worked.
Crashes all the time. Very frustrating. Have to uninstall then reinstall to get it to work..
OK design and managed to login, pretty pointless app though as any actions in the app just link you to the Web version, guess solicitors can't help but add another middle man!
Could use this app once or twice. Now it loads, crashes, doesn't open. Webpage is very useful though..
As others have said, after the first login this just crashes over and over. Don't bother, just use the mobile web version.
Just says invalid server response every time I try to log on. Having to go through email link to get on to the original one.
Once you get used to the way the app works and you obtain updates you find its easy and a good way to sell or buy a house. Professional staff that are helpful of you don't understand something.
I don't really understand why this app fires up my browser when I click on Case Progress. I might as well just use the browser.
Isn't loading atall, neither the website, hoping to see the progress on the property i'm purchasing and to see if any paperwork needs doing but i cant!
Every other time I log in I get told my device has been blocked and have to log in to website to unblock. Also majority of actions just take you to website anyway.
Worked when this was installed in but has stopped working since the last update I that when you open the app it immediately closes.
A do it yourself Solicitors! Got no face to face contact, no witnessing of documents, ended up having to post them because you have to print anyway, and that meant printing at the library at a charge. Was the purpose just to see the documents online in one place? I'd rather go to an office and not feel like I am the solicitor. If you have questions you have to call them up and wait for a call back. The eway app is useless. Next time I'll go to a local firm.
