eWeather HDF - weather, alerts, radar, hurricanes
eWeather HDF is the most informative Android app about weather and your environment. It includes current weather and weather forecasts from different weather providers, NOAA radar, weather alerts, latest earthquakes, geomagnetic storm forecasts, pressure changes indicator, wind and moon and sun calendar, visibility on the roads and METAR etc.
Annual archives of air and sea temperature for any city in the world allows you to choose the best time and place for your travel. You can compare the weather so far in the current year with the weather in the last year.
eWeather HDF has a barometer. A diagram shows the atmospheric pressure changes for the past and next 24 hours. A warning will be displayed when the barometer detects pressure changes causing a headache.
The unique feature in this application is the Weather Clock Dial. It is very interactive.

I've used eWeather HD for about 7 years. Without a doubt, this is the best weather app, with widgets that are super customizable. Current weather data, numerous forecast options, radar, satellite, barometric and other trend graphs, and many other features. Customizable widget font colors, background shading, transparency, etc. And it's light on device resource use. Dev always responds quickly and helpfully.
Elecont provides a quick response, (same day), and excellent customer service. I've used the paid HD version of this app for many years. When I switched to the HDF version, it didn't recognize my paid status. It took only two emails, and one day to correct the issue. Kudos to Elecont for this app, and their customer service!
I have used the eWeather HD app for years and now have moved to this eWeather HDF app that is being maintained. This is by far the very best weather app I have seen and used. Even better and more importantly, the developer is exceptionally responsive and helpful. The app itself has a boatload of options. For me, the widget is also what I also love with the quick glance options and the clock options (I might be accused of having a thing about clocks!).
I absolutely love this app and believe it's the best out there. However, I've been having an issue recently where severe thunderstorm/tornado watches and warnings are not showing up on the map. I see all other alerts including hail warnings. Will update to 5 stars when this gets fixed.
What a great weather app for the money! Used eWeather HD for over 7 years. Recently upgraded to eWeather HDF. Everything you could ever need in a weather app all on one app. This app is highly customizable... so there is a learning curve. One time cost of $4.99 for no ads is well worth it. Other weather apps similar to this one charge $19.99 per year for no ads.
App quality is excellent. The support has exceeded my expectations. They answer their support email in a very timely fashion and do their best to resolve issues. I've used this or the previous version of this app for a decade and can report its the best I've found in the weather app and weather widget category by FAR.
I really appreciate the detailed, highly accurate reports, as well as the simple temp and AQI widgets I set on my home screen for at-a-glance info. I've used other weather apps, but their data is often incorrect, or can't distinguish fog from smog. This one is much better.
No other app will show so much information at once, in a very easy to read form. I especially love the widgets, giving me hourly and weekly weather at a glance. Been a happy user for many years. The endless customization options really let you set it up just the way you like.
There is no better weather app. I have used it for years and love it. The level of detail is unbelievable. The dev is super helpful, courteous, and also generous. You don't find app support of this quality very often! Well worth the price for pro. And over the years it just gets better. So good. Please add a way to backup widgets!
I have had this program for over 10 years and by far is the best weather app out there. Not only can I get all the data that I'll ever need but the customization is terrific! I can truly set the program up as I would like it to look with the info I need. I also use several of the widgets to have what I need at the ready. Years ago he was able to show me how a certain aspect worked that I couldn't figure out and when my original site didn't support it any more they told me to get it at Play Store and then renewed my ad0-free status. The service is excellent and fast! They definitely stand behind their product!
It remains the ABSOLUT best weather app. PERIOD! I've been using it for more than 10 years and I've tried many other weather apps but I've always returned to eWeather. The level of customization is absolutely unmatched and it employs three of the world's most reputable weather providers (MET Norway was just added), thus it's always accurate no matter where you are in world. Almost any aspect of the graphs and widgets can be customized to your liking. Highly, highly recommend! Excellent job guys! Keep up the great work!
Don't you think it's about time for a visual refresh of this app? It has literally not changed for years. It has major android 4 vibes. The downloadable themes for the clock have not changed at all, and most are not great. If it wasn't for the date, you would think this hasn't been updated for years. Edit. I was using the clock themes as an example. You have many users that message you saying they like the look? Really. I'm talking about the entire app. The Holo look was over a long time ago.
Very configurable; compared with all the others I have used, this weather app has the most information (e.g., projections, history, maps, air quality, electical magnetic storms) and, for each, has the most detail. It took a little time for me to learn how to use all its features, but I think it was well worth the effort.
I use it all the time. It helps me to determine what the barometric pressure is like so I can plan my day. I am affected by dropping barometric pressure. It's too bad the are going to start charging for the app! It would of been five stars if they were not going to start charging for the app!
This is by far the best weather app I have ever used, and I consider myself a weather junkie. The interface, graphics, widget, and ability to customize is outstanding and so well thought out.
Just moved over from Elecont eWeather HD, and so far, functioning as expected. Broad range of visual options, and tons of info. Have suggested this app for friends with migraines triggered by barometric changes, and it gives them a chance to prepare for or prevent headaches!
This is by far 100% the best weather app available. Its worth the $ and has so much detail, the developer has spent a tremendous amount of time making sure you the user have so much control and capability of seeing all aspects of weather! I highly recommend this app and the eTIDE HDF app as well as eMap HDF. I am on the water fishing 300 days a year and the weather is so important. Thanks eWeather!
The only weather App I've paid for and used for well over a decade with several phones and never a hiccup! Recently, I had occasion to contact the developer, Sergey. He responded promptly and advised the answer(s) to my question. A great App, with great support, one couldn't ask for more!
I had issues with the rain-possibility percentages ie they were only 0, 50, or 100. Sergey responded immediately and assisted in directing me to the upper-right portion of the screen to get to Open Weather. He's helped me before........one of the best app owners I've worked with. Keep up the good work!!! :)
So much information! More than one source available, and invaluable for outdoors folks. Lots more under the hood; just poke around the app for the advanced features. 100% worth the price. I have it 4-stars for ease-of-use because some features may present some challenges to those with low proficiency with technology.
Supplies every piece of weather data one could conceivably want. Multiple settings and complex so there's a learning curve but it's a learning experience. Interface is utilitarian but colorful and still pleasing. Convinced it isn't a data miner as I suspect a lot of free apps are. Must force stop to exit. Outstanding support. NOAA addition appreciated.
The Best Weather App that you want/need on your gadget. You can list the weather, in cities where your Loved ones are, and w your alerts turned on, you can call them and let them know, of a bad situation that's coming @ them. That only scratches the long list of options, that you can choose from. One very well built app.
I have used this app for over a decade. It shows the most information in the best visual layout of any weather app I have tried. It has numerous display options, but the 12, 24, & 48 hour forecasts, the 10 day forecast, & radar display are what I primarily use. The ability to set multiple locales and scroll between them is also very nice.
The most customizable and the most detailed weather app ever.The widgets are amazing. This app is somehow able to combine a massive amount of weather info into something very easy to use. A simple glance at the widgets is all that is needed to know whats happening with the weather. Extremely accurate and reliable with the choice of weather providers. I have all the top weather apps and this is by far the best.
Able to see what I need when I need to see it. It is a little complicated to set up, but once you figure it out. You won't want another app. Although I still use a local news station for up to date radar. Everything else I use is on here. I started with the previous version and probably had it 8-10 years until this one upgraded, and they gladly transferred my ad free from the old one to this one. Great people if you ever have a problem.
