EWTN

There were a lot of complaints about the app being buggy. Especially when trying to cast to your smart TV. A month ago I could never get it to connect to my chrome cast. I tried the app again this week. i think they did an update finally. The app works Alot smoother and I can connect all there shows to my smart TV without problems. My kids like their children's content and I like watching the various news shows. Thank God it works really good now!

Really liked the update, until it began glitching all over the place. E-mailed the EWTN support team days ago but haven't heard back from anyone. Uninstalled then reinstalled countless upon countless times, now, no matter what I do, it just sits on the first screen. So sad... So frustrating... I miss my EWTN! I really hope they can work out the bugs quickly as I was so happy when the old app received it's new makeover!

3-8-22 Cannot get the live stream to work anymore. 😫 & other countries. Used to be able to get the mass at least. Update either made it worse, or something...3-11-22, was never Able to successfully send an email to the address you listed, Gmail tried for several days then notified me it could not be sent there. I can pull up only one of the foreign countries radio with English, that air the mass. All live streaming from any country will immediately show, play back error please try again.

Upgraded and now the Live stream for North America does not work at all. I get a pop up stating "Playback Error: An error was encountered while trying to play this media. Please try again." Have tried again and again for days. :( It seems like North America is the only one not working.

When I click on Adoration. I keep getting a playback error and shuts down. If I uninstall and reinstall, then it works again until it goes to the error at some point after.

Getting worse. Constant play back errors when I try to livestream US and Canada... blank screen for Asia Pacific and Philippines (audio only works) I have not been able to watch EWTN using the app in months. EWTN shows are amazing.

New update, now not working! Was a great app, everything worked fine. Updated last week, now I can't get anything On Demand. Circle just keeps spinning. Used to watch Mass almost every night, now I can't. Useless!

This used to be a good app. Then it was "improved". Now it crashes all the time, especially in livestream. For the love of God, PLEASE fix the problems. Look at the app ratings - you're losing a lot of users.

I really like the new updated app. The icon being red instead of blue confused me for a minute, which is a little disturbing when you're old, but so far the update is great! God bless everyone at EWTN. I pray for you all, daily.

Some of the audio/video programming feeds are very poor quality. Pixelated. Other programming is clear. Seems to be the broadcasts that take place in actual churches. Daily Mass, Rosary. Initial app startup also seemed labored. At first, I thought the app froze or crashed. So I started tapping the screen for feedback. Finally, it allowed me to choose a region and continue using the app.

I love EWTN but their Android app is extremely glitchy and unwieldy. It constantly freezes and crashes and doesn't work with my Chromecast. I had the same troubles on my previous phone, which was an older and cheaper device. Unfortunately my switching to a newer and more powerful phone hasn't solved the problem. I hope they will fix this problem soon as I would appreciate having access to EWTN's livestream services through the app.

Eliminated CC - crashes when selected. I don't understand... Been using this app on my phone and fire TV. On the fire app they eliminated closed captioning completely as an option and on my phone app the box is there but if you select it the video crashes with a "playback error." I have even uninstalled and reinstalled each day hoping this was fixed to no avail. Many need this feature. As a returning Catholic it has helped me recall and relearn prayers and responses. Please fix this.

App continually crashes when I first open it! Radio streaming works fine but live video streaming does not! Video streaming constantly stops and buffers! It does not seem to work too well on wifi but will work well on my iPhone as long as I don't have it on wifi! Would prefer to watch on my android tablet! It's a constant source of frustration for me as I am a fan of EWTN programming and because I live in a seniors residence, I am unable to get it hooked up on satellite! PLEASE FIX!😡

EWTN keeps messing with a good thing and ruining it for elderly folks and others with special needs. They have too many apps named EWTN, in my case for fire TV, which causes voice commands to fail every time. If my elderly mother asks it to "open EWTN", which is installed, it tries to install the EWTN Player which is the wrong app. Perhaps they are just trying too hard to compete with Netflix. Either way menus and operation are far too complicated for those who are most at risk during this pandemic.

It works for me. I like that I can easily flip from Isaiah to Matthew in the Bible of this app. I can also choose another translation. This app was crashing every time I tried to use it, but now it seems that things have improved. I am so pleased to have this app up and running again! Thank you

I wasn't able to open EWTN since 2018... So I downloaded another EWTN app.for Android. Seems someone said some terrible things about them and they blocked out quite a section and I was in that block. Since 2018! I called them up and, ewtn said to change username and download again.

Only tv I watch all the time I can. Great teachings, books and Catholic items, always learning new and enhancing my relationship with The Lord and gives me a family community.

The app takes a very long time to load, a d isnjumpy when it first opens. Also, the audio and video streams cut out frequently whether I'm on wifi or data. Sometimes, the app just freezes altogether and I have to close it, reopen it, and get back to where I left off

Optimum cable (Altice) only gives us a few hours of EWTN programming per day in their "Broadcast Basic" service tier. Thanks to this app I can now stream EWTN's live video, and also choose previous episodes of programs and watch them whenever I desire, 24/7 on my tablet. It's certainly a comfort. I also picked up a Roku device to stream EWTN directly to my living room set. EWTN gives us several options, ao we can always hear the good news, and for that I am very grateful. Thank You EWTN.

Worked fine on old phone, used daily, got new phone, won't go past choose language screen, not working?! Plz help..

Won't close once open. Had to restart my whole phone samsung Galaxy..to exit the TV stream 😒..afraid to open it now. Please fix

The app was good. Not user friendly now. Terrible. I will be removing it. Can't find shows anymore. Very disappointing. Not much audio either. Only video for the most part. Why?!!! So frustrating. An app I used daily....
