APP is always having issues.... now it holds the previous view selected. Does not allow for new views to be saved. Already uninstalled & reinstalled APP. Already on the latest version... This us Very Frustrating!
Worst app I have ever downloaded. First of all, you can't select what port you want to use. Second, doesn't matter if you use port 80 still no connectivity. I can get it to work on a web browser, but nothing else. ExacqVision do something, you customers are telling you how much of a disappointment this app is, not sure why its taking so long for you to respond. 100% do not recommend.
I see why so many 1 stars. If there were zero stars this app would get it. Just got the cameras (4)installed last week and installed the app and 99% of the time only 1 camera shows up. If I repeatedly go out the app and come back in all 4 will eventually show up. It does it on both my iPad as well as android. I wished there was another app to use. The web version of the client is just as bad. However, the client itself works like intended. Please fix/update the app.
I have been using this software for almost 5 years now. For the most part it functions well. For some reason many times the app will update and I loose connection to the cameras until I reboot the server. The problem is you never know when this will happen. In short the app update shouldn't be automatic. So you can wait until your near the server.
After the recent update I am having the same problem with the app as many others have reported, can't change the view.
For anyone who is still struggling with the issue of no cameras showing up. I found a solution that worked for us. First apply any updates to the web server/service. Then uninstall and reinstall the app. When setting up for the first time CONNECT TO THE DEMO SERVER FIRST and select any one of the services. Then configure your own server/service. For some reason you need the demo linked on your app for it to show any cameras, demo or not. With the demos connected, we can now view our cameras
Just installed and all we get is acquiring video then video error. Really wanted to be able to see the videos. No way to exit out of the app - there is no exit or back button and the phone back button doesn't do it either. Beyond frustrated.
Good app, but since the last update it is intermittent loading video from 64 bit web servers. Have e-mailed support with no response in almost 2 weeks. This kind of support would be expected on cheap eBay equipment, not professional grade software.
wow was surprised there was so many negative reviews. But I updated to there current app version. Now there is a problem with some cameras not letting me zoom in, unlike the previous version. That was a feature I uses alot. Hopefully things Change. Frankly other than that seem to work ok for us.
It works, but as another user mentioned, only when you have at least one HQ Demo Server selected. Otherwise you can't view your servers at all. You can't just disable the demo server either or yours will not be visible again until you reselect a demo server. Also, you can't view your servers until after the demo server connects first. Makes using the app a bit frustrating.
I first had to uninstall the old version, when reinstalling the new version the application ran smoothly and as expected. The quality feature is gr8 setting it to 40% quality in the settings still showed really good images and an increased update.
With every update, the app has gotten worse. Lost the ability to have more than 8 tiles, search function is sketchy, and now my phone keeps warning me that it's overloading the OS in the background.
I can view live video, but searches do not work at all. It always says nothing found. However the same search in the desktop produces results. Wish mobile app worked nearly as good as desktop app.
Finally can view my cameras again after a few months of no help from the support team. After playing around with settings in the app after app was updated. When app is updated it turns on a setting in the app called "Display Association Overlay", this setting needs to be off. This is how to get to it in the app. First go to configuration, then press setting, then press advance setting, the display association overlay is under camera setting, press to turn it off. Reload cameras and you good.
Very disappointed in this version. Always had good flowing views with older versions but this one is VERY slow and drops some cameras to show others. Can't show all at the same time.
Cannot see my cameras anymore since update. Please fix. UPDATE: Still cannot see my cameras for no reason. App is complete trash and Exacq does not care at all. Moving all my camera to UniFi because of the terrible support and willingness to keep their apps working with the money they make. 0/5
This a a great example of how to destroy your company 😂. For every looking for a work around. Download an older version of the apk v19.11.0 or before. A quick Google search will bring up the results. Next you will want to open Exaq on the market place. Tap the settings icon (the 3 dots) and uncheck auto update. Update I believe version 19.12 updates the app within the app its self and overrides google super scammy. 😑
Not for people who are not willing to read instructions. Streaming quality depends on how it's setup and how you want to stream. Frames per second, resolution etc. Have your installer help, communicate what you are trying to do. Maker sure system software is up to date. If the app is fresh but NVR is out of date, you will have problems. Not a toy, a professional video system.
HORRID UPDATE! Now no cameras work. Webserver and client server also updated and locked me out! Every time it updates there is ALWAYS an issue! Time to look at other options.
The application could not connect the exacqvision server since I was updated it. I have no problem with my Iphone but for Samsung Note9 and another android phones facing same problem. Somebody please give me advise how to fix it.
Absolutely Terrible. Exacq is pretty much useless unless your connecting through the windows application. Good luck seeing your cameras any other way.
No longer works as of today's update. Update to review: Had to uninstall and reinstall app, set up server, cameras, views, etc. It now works. App updates shouldn't require this. I wish I hadn't updated.
Terrible app, there's no port selection and you can't even change a port. This is absolutely a piece of garbage.
Mostly doesn't work when launched, need to disable, re-enable my system, then shut the app and launch again. Otherwise all I get is "network error". Older version worked fine, wish I could roll back. Also why the app always tries to connect to all the systems that I have disabled from connecting, which takes ages to eventually fail? This makes no sense, disabled doesn't mean disabled anymore?
