Used this daily for years now. I love it. The ability to have it read any exercise name I type in is fantastic. I do a lot of programs from old books with strange names for the exercise. It's super easy to use and to create copies of routines with different breaks or exercises. There are some handy settings to explore in the options. Great suite of features and usability. I highly recommend giving it a try.
Although a bit hard to set up.... WORTH IT FOR THE OUTCOME! I've had to do Physical Therapy for my knee and it's so much easier to just add exercises as they're given to me. Plus some exercises I need to focus on form, timing, and count.... this app allows me to focus on just my form. A few things I wish it did, but I think the premium version does... I just can't afford the premium version. Even without extras... as many others I've tried.... this is by far.... THE BEST!!!
Hit or miss, when I do interval training, (running mainly), the timer sometimes, only sometimes, tells me that a break is coming up after an interval of running. It can be quite frustrating when trying to build up my progress. The app itself is easy to use and building your own timers is straight forward. Would be 5 stars if the app didn't give me any issues when running.
Love that I can (input) a workout and use along w/ my own music (in split screen). If I don't wanna hear music choices of youtubers I'm following. My issues: 1) Exiting the app & returning(answer a call, change music) starts the WHOLE workout over. What happened to Pause = PAUSE? 2) Oftentimes I can't hear the voice announcement over my music. MY WISHLIST: 1) be able to preview sections while customizing (currently must view the entire wkout) 2) female exercise icons
Cool app. I can edit my reps and timings accordingly. Just started using it so not sure if new exercises can be added in the circuit. Since I am using it only for my abs circuit, the number pre-loaded exercises are quite less. All in all, it's a really good app. Works for me.
Spent a few hours creating my custom workout plans and deleted them from my workouts to have things more organized. Little did I know that they would not be saved into exports. Somehow I needed to sign in again and it wiped all my plans and workouts. I was able to import back a few workouts, but not the plans which had everything... Also wish I was able to reorder plans and have a folder system for workout organization. Besides this, the app's timer is the best I've seen in any workout app
I've been using this app for about a week for my weighted interval training. I needed something that would time activity and rests as other apps don't have that option and this app is exactly what I was looking for. Fair warning: I can't get the app to record my workout history when using the watch app. Might be locked behind premium.
Great app but limited and premium is way too expensive. All I want to do is create custom interval workouts for my smartwatch. But ofcourse it limits the smart watch application to three exercises. Basically unusable to me unless I edit the sample Tabata workout. I already own an expensive smart watch. Might as well use a Garmin smartwatch where all these features are free. I'd only be willing to purchase a full subscription if it had Google Fit integration.
This is the best exercise timer I've come across. It's very customisable, with many options, plus illustrated suggestions for the most popular exercises. One improvement I'd like to see is to make it more editable. When I forgot to add a break between exercises, there was no way to do it without deleting the whole thing and starting again. But still a fantastic app.
Almost perfect. I absolutely love the possibility to place exercises in groups, the interface is beautiful and easy to use. Just so pretty and intuitive! However, I would really like to unlock the premium features, but why would I take a subscription? If you chose a different business model I'd be prepared to pay 5$ for this and simply don't understand how a utility app choses to monetize as a subscription. I would also appreciate a web interface, so I can create and edit workouts behind my PC
At its core, this is a great timer. However, with each update, it's simplistic functionality has faded. As a program designer, its preference for neat grafics, menus, transitions, etc. have dramatically increased the amount of time I spend creating routines. Lack of ios compatibility is an issue. And, finally, the subscription model is straight up silly.
Awesome app to go exercising with. I can save all of my exercise steps with time duration, and time for breaks in between. And the best part is the feature that speaks-out every upcoming exercise and starts counting down 3 sec before the end of every exercise and break. So I don't have to remember what to do next, and don't have to count the sets and reps.
Thank goodness for this app. I had downloaded about 10 apps, none of which did what I want. I wanted multiple exercise notifications before a rest - that's all. This is the first I downloaded that was customizable enough to give me the workout I wanted. I haven't tried it in practice yet but so far it looks good. I did check to make sure my Spotify playlist would play at the same time and it does, but the workout notifications may be too quiet when on. I'll have to see when I try it for real.
Was happy at first because I finally found an app that can input workout in the way I wanted to. Unfortunately after a few workout the app stopped in the middle and it happened multiple times. When I opened it I wanted to restart when it crashed but it seems that this is a premium feature. Cannot help but think that this is a known bug as I don't know why such feature of coming back in the middle of a workout who be needed except for this kind of "bug". Very disappointed and not trustworthy app
This is a very cleanly designed, elegant app. It does exactly what it says on the tin, and I've been using it for over 3 years. What do I like? Easy to create your own workouts - fencing drill, juggling drill, Indian Club swinging, interval training, stretching routines, running paces, etc., I've used it for all of these and more over the years. Good user ergonomics. It's easy to use. Easily personalized within the options presented. What I'd want in a new version: A better yoga gong. The one that's there is more annoying than calming. A one time fee instead of a monthly or annual fee.
This is the all time best workout app I have ever seen. It has everything you need for it. THIS APP NEEDS TO ADD a way for you to drag a exercise or break around where ever you want in the workout u are making. I had trouble with this. For example, I had to restart my workout because I needed to move something somewhere but I couldn't. This would really help the app. Also this app could use a music option so you can jam out while working out. Thanks for the awesome app.
For me, it's the best workout timer. very handy, easy to use, simple & nice minimalist looking. you can upgrade to use more advanced features, but the best thing is the free version was already have all you need, and that is what i really like, not like the other timer apps that trying so hard to make you pay them money.. i like it so much.. my suggestion, this app would be so much better with adding "10 seconds left" sound in exercise, and make the voice can read the description as well👍
App is great but they're taking advantage. I only use it to create my own custom timers, but only two custom timers can be accessed on the free edition before having to go premium. This is the only feature I want to use. I think the app could benefit from a one off paid upgrade to remove the limit on user generated workouts. We will have no problem paying for a premium app, but I'm not going to pay £30 a year to create my own timers.
Awesome interval timer. So far have programmed over 50 different workouts with all kinds of variations. I also use this with my group class and the voice system really helps me out when I'm on the floor and can't see the timer. Buzzers are also loud enough to be heard over the music, hence no need to lower the volume when it goes off. 5/5!
This is my new favourite app! It's so colourful and fun to use. I haven't experienced any glitches at all like some other circuit timer apps. So very convenient for anyone looking to try a circuit type workout. No more setting timer after timer, just set and forget! I really love the gifs that come with some workouts but I wish there were more. I also love that the app runs in the background so you don't have to worry about your music pausing or being interrupted at all (except for the ads).
Fantastic app! It took about 30 minutes to figure out. It was confusing at first. But once I figured it out I loved it. I use it for a strength training routine but it should work for anything from yoga to HITT. Before I would always forget how many sets I had done. I love the fact that I can change the amount of time for each exercise. I love the fact that it is tied to the voice reading app on my phone and so it calls out each exercise. Probably couldn't do this in a gym setting.
Finally the perfect workout app I was looking for. I can create my own workouts, insert breaks anywhere in the workout, and repeat the whole workout as many times as I feel like. The app sound does not interrupt the music playing but plays over it. I can save workouts and repeat them later. I have tried many workout timer apps and this is by for my #1 goto app now and will go premium today. The in-app ads and interruptions is the only thing I do not like, but for $5 to his is a no brainer purchase. Thanks!
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! This is exactly what I've been looking for to use with my Samsung watch. I've been wanting a simple timer that I can customize with exercises and will alert me when the next event is. I did not want to have to carry my phone with me to use it. Surprisingly, the Samsung software does not have this capability, and there were no apps that I found that could handle this under the old Tizen OS. When Samsung switched to Android I was excited because I knew there would be a solution, and I just found it. However, I have some feedback. It would be nice this would automatically export your workout data to Samsung Health or Fit or Fitbit so that I didn't have to run the Samsung app in the background on my watch to capture the data. Also I would love to purchase the lifetime upgrade, but $45 is steep in my opinion. I feel that $20 is a fair price. Thanks again, you nailed it.
Customizable exercises and easy to use. Comes with a library of exercise names accompanied with an animation which is quite usefull. The app gives vocal prompts and will pronounce whatever exercise you have set up next in the program. This feature could be quite useful for a person with vision or memory impairment.
Clean, intuitive interface. This is such a Godsend as I do my Physiotherapy exercises at home. I can line up all the exercises I need to do, set time or number of reps and insert breaks. I can also set a countdown to start the exercise set. I can see what exercise/break is coming up so I can mentally prepare to switch. As my current exercise ends, there's a voice countdown and prompt. Brilliant! Please Improve: "next up" sometimes does not display correctly. Lap counter not counting
This app is simple, useful and its free! It has a REALLY good feature that allows you to create your own workout, you can set it up so it counts down the last 3 seconds and tells you your next exercise 5 seconds before and it's really easy to figure out how to use. I recommend this app to anyone who wants to create their own timed workouts quickly and easily.
Thr new UI is amazing!!! Congrats! But still remains one minor problem: When you configure the sets number in a group of exercises, three, for example, the app only reads 1/1 three times. So annoying. Also, it would be great to change the last break time, between groups of exercise. Thanks a lot!
The app is very user-friendly. From rope training to full abs, that was what I'm looking to easily personalized different workouts. I only find the premium version with the monthly payment a bit expensive. I would jump into a "No ads" payment system to support the dev team
