I highly recommend this app for those of you who,at the end of the day (week, month..) want to know where you spent your money.Expense Log is simple, easy, reliable, and isn't bogged down with features that most of us don't use or need. You just enter and record what you spent and where you spent it. The itemized list or a monthly summary in categories can be exported to your PC on an Excel spreadsheet. And the developer is extremely responsive to questions or concerns! Great app!
This is my favorote expense app due to how simple and easy it is to use. I also like how the calendar is set up so you can see everything all at once. Only flaw so far are a few bugs with the major one being the app completely crashes when i try to add an expense that repeats every 2 weeks (monthly works fine). I was able to get past this bug by adding the repeated expenses individually
Just what I need - a record of daily expenses - without all the fuss. Simple to use. Just a minor suggestion, would be nice for a simple calculator to be incorporated within the app so I don't have to switch between my phone calculator and the app when I want to total up expenses within the same category, but hey, I'm just nitpicking here. Love the app!
Let's me keep a detailed summary of what I've spent without any problems. The only complaint I have: the done button at the bottom of an entry seems to purposefully be positioned right on top of the ad click bait. Sometimes, if I'm not actively paying attention, I wind up clicking on a stupid ad when all I want to do is complete my expense/income entry. It gets annoying.
Nice presentation but too limited even for simple use. Multiple accounts all right but does not have the total on it and of course no detail, so what's the point? Also no details in summary view. List doesn't have balance so constantly need to go back and forth between list and summary. Summary mixed income and expense. Budget is on account instead of category. Quickly becomes confusing. Wrote email for help but no answer within 24 hours. Pity because does have good points and ideas
Would be great to be able to view expenses for just the current financial year which ideally could be configurable by the user to match their own comvpany financial year - mine is 28 Feb will get a bit messy when looking at the "year" view in the app as it stands. Otherwise a great app and I think I'll soon upgrade when I start using it. Update after a few weeks: the app has a problem storing photos of receipts - it just says 'picture not available' when you try to view, even after uploading.
I like your app very much and has great potential but clean up your layout!!!! You have stuff overlapping on other stuff, it does not look very professional. Please do it, so I don't move on to another apps. I am willing to pay once it is improved.
Great app. One flaw is that when you edit a record to change it from expense to income, the category resets. Also, each category is only valid for expense or income, it can't be used for both. Would love if this were fixed.
Fail! Thank God I used it only one day. Even though I had nearly $1,000 in expenses that day, it led me to believe that the application was categorizing the different expenses. As I did throughout the day, it looked fine but then I closed the app and reopened it only to find it lump them all into one stupid category. This application is useless. It's a kid's toy.
Edit 1: Hi dev, I have mailed the scenario please check and resolve the issue. Issue: This app has bugs with online sync to dropbox; when i enable dropbox then it redirects to chrome page and for some odd reason even after giving permissions correctly in the chrome prompt it crashed saying java.lang.ClassNotFoundException for the dexpath of dropbox, where dropbox class was being searched. i have paid for the app just. for the data sync part and it doesnt function please take a look on that.
I was using the free version to log expenses and it worked great. I purchased the upgraded version specifically for the export feature and it does not work. I've tried it serval times and it just doesn't work. I definitely wasted money on this app!
The best flexible budget app with a good user friendly interface. Give it a try and you will appreciate it's simplicity. This app is an example of "less is more".
I really enjoyed how easy it is to use and the unique functions it has are nice. I wish that it had a few more options for how to back up the data. Email, facebook, or Google would be nice options for the devs to look into :)
Really liked the app, would be nice to know how much I've already spent in a category before entering it as a record. Would be 5 stars but the graph needs to be improved. It's only logical to show a the categories spending as a graph, i wanna know how much money I'm spending on smoking and whethere it's increasing or not. Fix the graphs pls
Input can be annoying. Sometimes if you're trying to enter an expence on a past date, it'll change the catagory. Or I'd you change the catagory, it'll reset the date to the present. It's pretty annoying when you're trying to record logs in a rush.
I enjoy this app. Simple enough for my household expenses, but does have some features that more advanced users may like. I find it less intimidating to use than some other apps like mint or quickbooks
the app look clean and easy but i give only 3* . Curency setting have only 9 options. there is no option for custom curency. I think this app it can be used all over the world. Please update that.
Is there a way to sort thru via *categories and not just dates or amount $ ? Thanks Edit: I've also noticed if changed the date or time and switch to a different app (when I'm referencing the amount I spent) and switch back to enter, the date defaults back to current date&time, and the last saved entry category. Thanks. Still loving the app though, thank you.
This app does exactly what I need to stay on budget. It is really helpful to know how much money I have spent, or even more helpful, how much I have left to spend before I risk going over budget. The app is solid, never glitchy, and I trust that it will work properly. I have already recommended it to others.
Really Easy to Use, it keeps it simple. I would love to have the option to set it to fortnightly instead of weekly or monthly as that's how I am paid and budget
This is a great app with a few annoying bugs, but they're worth putting up with. (When entering a new expense, it defaults back to whatever the previous category was, even if you changed it while inputting the new expense. If you take a photo of your receipt in landscape mode, there's a glitch, and you have to go back and retake it.) But, again, this app is very much worth it.
