Unlike the other monitoring services, you can't manage your freeze with their app. Everything is a paid service. If that weren't bad enough, the app is buggy as heck and crashes every time I hit the setting gear. Experian needs to allow consumers greater control over their credit and allow easier freeze control like the other services offer.
This one is worse than credit tracker. At least the other one worked. This one gives you "Error getting dashboard, financial, personal, action cards" on everything. Only worked twice in 5 days. It can't pull any info. I do not recommend you purchasing identity premium if you were thinking about doing it, this app can not pull your info with full app errors. Update: signing out and back in seems to work. I agree with everyone about Experian; credit lock is free with two other bureaus. Just not Experian. Which is very strange.
I've had an Experian account for years, and was forced to switched from their Credit Tracker to this, but this doesn't work! $25/month and I haven't been able to login for 4 months?! Ridiculous. Login says "complete registration" and I enter the same info over & over and the app keeps crashing. Absolute BS. Calling for a cancellation and refund.
I signed up for a free trial & fully intended on purchasing, but could never access my online acct. After password resetting multiple times, I'm told my app's incomplete. How do you get an acct if your app isn't complete? I was able to provide my security question & PIN as requested. Then they want to delete this acct & I'm to reapply with a different email acct. I canceled. Lots of wasted time & frustration. Very disappointed!
These upgrades are horrible! I've subscribed for years but now I'm canceling my membership! Not user friendly and not easy to navigate. Can't find any of the information I previously found useful.
Constantly receiving an unspecified error connecting to the servers when reviewing alerts. I am cancelling my subscription and uninstalling this app, this has been going on for over 6 months without being addressed by developer. Terrible app!
App keeps closing or crashing. Sends me alerts about my email and when i select those alerts it crashes and closes down. Its been going on for over well over a month. Now it says "unexpected error"..
This app is horrible. I have not been able to log in as it it requires a second verification that uses an old phone number that I updated but has not been pushed to the app!! Contacted support but have heard nothing. Not worth the money at all...lazy support needs to fix the log in screens.
App crashes and is unusable. I was forced to swap from credit tracker to this and it doesn't work at all! At least credit tracker worked fine for me....
Update on the latest version. Doesn't crash now. Now we just get an unexpected error. Problem connecting to server. Must be written by millenials. You know the kind that got a trophy just for participating. This is the result folks. Welcome to our future.
1 app just updated but it days it can't connect to internet 2 it doesn't allow you from the app to freeze your credit 3 always trying to sell identity protection you can get for free if they allow you to freeze. It's allabout making money from people
You can't lock or unlock without a paid subscription???? You gotta be kidding me!!! Transunion and Equifax provide that feature for free using their mobile app. Now you have to call Experian once a year to keep your credit Frozen...
I am having the same difficulty as others with the apps both force closing and not being able to use the services I am paying for! if this continues I'll just drop the services and not worry about it. Get us an update or something!
App opens but as soon as I click anything, the app crashes. Every time. I've never been able to use the app.
This is a billion dollar company that clearly doesn't care about the consumer who makes a fortune selling our personal information without our permission. App is worthless. The government makes freezes easy and two bureau's respond with great apps. Experian makes it harder.
Can't view alerts due to a server error, which makes the app not particularly useful. Sent email to support and a full day later still no response.
App doesn't work properly. Whn launching I get a message saying there was an unspecified error, please try again. App issues have been ongoing for this company. They need to hire someone for app dev that knows what the heck they are doing........
Why do I always get a 'signin error' notification when I exit the app??? I'm a paying customer, so show my credit score in the app!! App is sort of okay. Customer service is poor!
Does not work any longer. Tech support is non responsive. Phone call in is nonexistent. I had confidence in Experian, but not now.
last app was way better. this app doesn't even show any information. you click literally anything and it all just tells you to go to the website. Why have an app if it just directs you to the website for everything
Can't view any details on identity monitoring without getting an "unspecified error". This has been broken for months.
Just made an account and can't even sign on with my credentials through the app. Yet, on the internet browser using the same credentials, I can log in. 💩💩
I can login but when I click on alerts it says it has issues connecting to the servers. Makes the app useless.

I try to sign in. It says it can not complete registration and gives me a phone number. I call the number and there is zero options that help me sign in.
The app errors out when i try to log in with my fingerprint, i have tried reinstalling it as well as reregistering my fingerprint on my phone and it still doesnt work
this is the most screwed-up app I have ever seen set up an account have not been able to get back into this account suits I set it up it is junk and worthless
App sucks. Set up acc't & it won't allow me to log in. It says I have to "finish" setting up my acc't.... When I do it gives me an ERROR MSG. 😡
Seems to me this app used to work okay on my older Android 6 phone, but it no longer works on my Android 9 phone (Moto G7). As others have mentioned, you can sign in (most of the time anyway) but then it crashes as soon as you try to use it. I received a Financial Alert notification, but the app crashed every time I tried to view it. I cleared cache, force stopped, and even uninstalled and reinstalled app, but it still crashes. I finally had to login to the website using a browser to view the alert. That's not good; it defeats the purpose of having the app.
