The app has a lot of options for nature cams to view, but it seems like half of them don't work. I'll click on one and the entire app shuts down. It's kind of annoying. I've had this app less than 24 hours and have only been able to successfully view a few videos.

I like being able to see live cams of such cool creatures. However, it would be nice if the screen rotated with the phone. Watching vertically, it is small and hard to see.

Opens up to nothing. I swear if it's not one thing it's the other. Theres always something wrong with this app. The menu is completely black, searching does nothing. So over this...

App only always opens to an error message - uninstalled, then reinstalled, but it's still broken.

brilliant idea, but has issues. the video player is not set for the screen size, so the video controls cannot be accessed. the video player doesn't handle changing from portrait to landscape, with most of the player vanishing off screen. Hopefully these are issues that will be fixed over time. I'd love to give this app 5/5; maybe some day, I'll be able to!

since the last update, the screen (from my android box) only shows the top portion of video and i cannot get the whole video to show. worked fine before the update. works fine on my tablet, but is not the same as being able to watch it on the tv screen. will score higher if this can be fixed. On the tablet, i have the ability to rewind the video where i couldn't do that on the box. Would be nice to be able to see whole video and be able to rewind on the box.

pp just stopped working all together. Every time I try to open the app, the lathe black explore screen loads, then nothing, it closes itself. I've tried restarting my phone (Samsung Galaxy S10e, emptying the cache, even uninstalling & reinstalling the app. All w/no change. I've even tried emailing the developers about the issue. Like everyone else, no response. Been in habit of bypassing app completely & just going to the website. Kins of defeats the purpose of having an app, doesn't it?

It seems like they have moved to youtube for most of their streaming needs. This app doesnt go past the loading screen on my Samsung Galaxy S9+. Such a disappointment. However, for those looking for light at the end of the tunnel, Earth Cam seems to be working great. Only downside is that you have to pay $5 to get all the cams that they offer. But atleast their app works lol

April 2021: now it won't open. I uninstalled then downloaded. Still won't open. I even uninstalled, did a factory reset of phone, then downloaded it again. The black screen with logo appears for a second and app closes. The app says the phone is not connected to a data service. Mobile data & wifi is on. Help! App has worked great. Today nothing happens. I want to watch my kitties at Big Cat Rescue. All I get is a black screen with white logo. Also website not working.

Since the latest update, the picture does not display properly. Can only see top half of the video. This is only happening on the android box. App works fine on my phone and tablet, but would much rather watch it on a big screen. Will rate higher when fixed.

Very buggy, great when it works

When it works it's great, but as often as not all I get when opening a link is a black screen. Clearing the cache sometimes works but not always. Such a shame because on the occasions I have managed to get an image it can be quite fascinating.

I help support Big Cat Rescue and they have several camera's linked to Explore. It is just wonderful to get real time, live footage of how the animals are in their enclosures in Florida, while I am at home in Tasmania Australia. It is a fantastic app to view nature around the World, better than anything on television today. Wish I had more time to watch it.

would love to give this 5 stars. But although it works great on my phones. (Various Samsung "S"series). It doesn't display the feeds correctly on my Huawei mediapad T5. Feed displays larger than the available screen size so only part is viewable. But still a great app.

Love the app. Would give 5 stars if: home screen can display in landscape, video streams can easily be added to favourites, video streams can be sorted by live (vs highlights) and/or by area.

I use to watch this all the time on my Phone, now since the upgrades I can not get onto it. very frustrating. I have tried uninstalling & reinstalling the app, turning my phone off & on. still nothing.

This used to be brilliant until yesterday. Now all I get is this video is unavailable. I've uninstalled it and tried again, but still the same. It works on my laptop, without the app, so I think there must be a problem with the app. I get the same message on my tablet.

What seemed like the perfect app for someone who loves nature turned out to be an app that doesn't work and just crashes all the time.I have Live Earth Webcam which has quality live cams from round the world including animals (Ospreys,Falcon,Falcons,Eagles,Elephants,Giraffes,Bison,Lions,Penguins,Reef Fish/Shark,Tropical Fish,Meerkats,Cats,Dogs,Tamarin Monkeys,Iguanas,Bears) just not enough though so this seemed ideal.Uses too much space,no save to sd card.,Shame!Uninstalling!:@

App doesn't let you know if your Favorites are Live or not. You have to go back and forth thinking you are going to see a live cam, but turn out to be highlights. Website is better. Uninstalled and needs work.

Like most others, it just kept crashing on me. Restarted phone to no avail. *Update: after reported bug fixes on 4/5, it still crashes every time, sorry to say.

For ease of use it's better than the website. However it's only getting 4 stars because if I view a video on fullscreen my notification bar never goes away unlike watching the YouTube streams in the website.

Love the pipeline, esp. The sound.

My homeschooled kids and myself LOVE this app but it is a little hard to tell without going into each video whether it is live or live highlights. Please make a LIVE ONLY section so we can watch only videos that are live at the moments we are viewing. And please find a way to allow us to share not the YouTube version of them only but the actual video channel in the app so friends can join us quicker in our viewing through the app.

Awful app, crashes whilst opening and goes back to home screen! Used to have this on my iPhone and it was brilliant. Sort it out please!!

I love this app...I enjoy service dog project the absolute most and from there have visited many other camera's. Thank you for making this available to so many people. Never stop learning....most excellent

I having trouble getting pass the welcome screen. I have used explore for years. I am very disappointed. 😭😡💔

Great collection of nature moments. One functional request PLEASE add casting capability. All videos are streamed via YouTube anyway and casting is native Youtube feature.

Doesn't work. Crashes as soon as you open it. Why issue an app that falls at the first hurdle? Such a shame because the web site is brilliant.

I really miss the comments section and the snapshot feature. Do add integrate the Disqus chatrooms and the snapshot feature if possible.

Very unfortunate that this app doesn't work. The videos lag, stall and basically totally don't work. Please fix.
