ExSynth (Synthesizer)

Like the pulse/saw/sine for the ocs1/2 + the knob that amplified ocs2 sound, whiles being exactly the same with ACS (A Common Synthisizer) with the exception of noise, which should have it's own variant: Pink, Brown and White noise... I wish the the delay effect could have feedback amount to ocs1/2, wet/dry, time, sync/no sync, pattern of delay feedback linking to echo effect optionally and feedback gain/offset... (increasing/decreasing volume and timing after the first initial tone...

This, by far, is the best Synth App out there!! Very well done!! Worth the $2.40!!! 16 Channel Sequencer, with 9 Sequence Block Sections..True LFO interaction, several Octave Ranges, Dual Ocsillators...A real synth like this would run several hundred!!! This is a complete composing tool, as well as posessing an excellent old school synth feel with quality!!! Developer, is there a way to purchase more preset sounds?? Thank you! AliensForGod

Totally love it. Immediately detected my M-Audio Oxygen25 midi controller and was able to play and tweak via the controller. Not sure yet how to assign controller knobs to knobs in the app but by default it gives me plenty to play with.

Everything for the most part is awesome. But when I turn the reverb on it just makes a very loud crackle sound. There is also some delay of the keys.

It's great very easy to use and it's got lots of things to play with and knobs to twiddle, I did get a message when I first started it up saying that this was made for an earlier version of Android and may not work properly, but so far I've had no problems whatsoever, well worth the money!

Lovely. Has a really nice character to it. So nice to be hands on, like using a hardware synth. Absolute bargain! Just wish i could get Ableton to play it over usb, will have to buy a midi to usb converter, then i will be away...Highly recommended...

Dude update the app. It gets glichy. Meaning how can I trust an app I like that hasn't updated for 5 years. It's my go 2 synth away from a real station wid black and white keys

Although i have some latency, the synth and the effects are excellent and it works well as a quick and easy setup with my korg nano.

It's great. Used it for about 8 years now and I am yet to find another synth app I enjoy this much.

its realy a great synth. there needs to be more help .and some addon mod machine would be nice.

Tried to buy and install, but after purchasing, it wouldn't install, and now won't refund... Don't pay anything for this app

Unsupported, glitchy. Surprisingly good if/when it works. I refunded however.

Great app. But same thing as common analog synth except in a different color.

My synthesizer & keyboard or whatever for my music production along with my other synthesizer/keyboard & my drum machine/sampler which is the Electrum Drum Machine/Sampler. Epic synthesizer with lots of FX and stuff. I like to boast and brag about my epic musical gear for my music production and my epic life. Definitely 5 stars

Would it be possible to allow midi input when the screen is off?

I probably shouldn't complain too much about a progammable synth that cost $2.40, except that there are free ones out there that do way more AND come with instructions (How could I possibly test it to see if it works "within 15 minutes" if it takes an hour to figure how it works?). The good: * Does a really nice job of simulating an analog synth, producing some really cool sounds and fairly easily imitating acoustic instruments. * One 16-note sequencer with which you can record 12 patterns of notes. The bad: * No instructions except for the brief example video on the devoxxxide Youtube page. And seeing as that was published on Dec. 2013, it seems pretty unlikely there will ever be any instructions. * The sequencer only plays whatever sound you have programmed at the time and it cannot play more than 1 of the 12 note-patterns at a time, so you can only have sound A playing on the sequencer while you play sound A on the keyboard. * The keyboard cannot be expanded to any reasonable size, so it's not very playable. (Other Android phone apps allow you tube enlarge the keyboard to one large octave.) IN SUMMARY, this is a $2.40 toy. I don't recommend it.

This thing keeps crashing, and making a distorted farty sound that won't shut up, unless I close it down completely. It's totally getting in the way of enjoying it. As when it does work - for a short period - it's preety preety good.

Nothing has been fixed! Don't buy this junk app. It keeps crashing all the time and I don't even bother to send reports because the developer has stopped working on this app. It never ever works right even when I get a new device.

Great app to learn synthesis basics and actually make some really intersting sounds, FXs and sequencer as a plus. Rccomend to every sythesis enthusiast and to refresh your knowledge

Even more fun than my mini- moog in the 80's Great options! Very complete. Really fun to play through a home surround sound system and a good vehicle stereo. I think I will be quitting my job now. Thanks- B.A.

Enjoying this app quite a bit, but will there be an option for exporting a sequence via midi and mp3 / WAV? The only thing I see so far is MIDI controller abilities.
