Extensive Notes - Notepad

Love this app! I've used it for a few years, & have been tapping into more of the features lately in order to be better organized. Things aren't always intuitive, & the help section is actually helpful. Only 2 small issues: 1) Glitch - I occasionally start a to do list/note, save & exit the app & it'll disappear. If I enter a little bit of text, save, & go back in, I don't have any problems. 2) I'd love to be able to add to-do lists to folders, and hope this becomes available in the future.

Has been super great until recently. I've used this for years. Would like to have the most recent on top instead of bottom, monor.. But I need to go elsewhere now because on my samsung s8, if I touch something underlined in the text, it exits and dumps everything I've typed in. Too bad, but I see this hasn't been touched in years, so not expecting a fix.

I installed it to get a robust notes app and it has potential. There are plenty of predefined lists and the like. The Bad: My biggest problem with it is the size of the text and the text/background color for notes. As it stands I find it difficult to read the note I have typed in. Maybe the "Pro" version takes care of this but I'm not going to pay to find out I don't like it.

This is a fairly easy to use app but there have been several times I used the "to do" list feature for my grocery list so I could check off the items and when I arrived at the store and the list was erased. This happened a few times and through no fault of my own. I saved the list and re-opened it to make sure it was there but after anywhere between 5 and 60 minutes it was gone. Very frustrating, so I wouldnt rely on it for the "to do" list.

Update: Newer phones that don't have a menu button can't use features such as adding a photo. The app doesn't have a menu button, so those functions are no longer available until the app is updated. Needs tabs at the top instead of the tiny links, which make them difficult to select. Maybe make the preferences viewable, but not usable without purchase, so we can at least see what is customizable.

How can I retrieve backed up notes? App claims I set a password but I hate passwords and cannot guess what someone else may have setup. [Meaning set by developer(s)] Apparently I am not the only one faced with a phone gone bust and no possible way to retrieve my notes. Stopped using another note app for a similar but different problem. Had never heard that apps come with preset passwords. Will check every app in the future. This has been a very painful experience.

I've used this app for approximately 4 years. The first time was with one phone and I could never figure out how to transfer the database when changing phones. I lived with it and just surrendered the data I had accumulated. Well here comes the last few days and my company has upgraded my phone. I contacted the developer and did everything I was instructed to do. I even went into Verizon to see if one of their people could figure it out. Nope. So I am left emailing ,copying & pasting each note .

This app is a beast. I wanted a notepad because the stock on my s3 had limited characters. So i found this, did the job i wanted but on top of that im keep finding all these features that are amazing. Conversion, stopwatch, weather, translate cod go on the list is endless. Dont let the name fool you, this isnt just notes its a shed load more. RECOMENDED

This is an amazing app! A small app that doesn't take up to much storage space, yet powerful, packed with essential functions, and so much more. Especially awesome if you are a writer, writes lots of letters or email ...very easy to copy all to paste all to email app so you never lose them + great organizational interface.

I have tried so many note apps and liked some of them but this is my final choice. The description sounds like there is too much but it is SO well organized and easy to use. From someone that rarely purchases apps and is hard to impress, try this app it is with it.

Good idea but I have to tap on 3-5 icons (after starting) while I can write or access a simple text note. Also hard to organize and oversee. Most of the added features would never be used but the primary function is not user friendly at all.

You have to pay for ANY settings changes. The first picture I needed to try to mark up was mostly gray. The color of the default 'ink' is gray. If there was a 30 day free trial of the paid version, maybe I'd be interested in using it. It has a lot of good features that interest me, but I'm not willing to pay for 'maybe' it's what I need. I am willing to pay if it turns out to work for me. DEVELOPER: How many other people have passed on this because they don't KNOW if it's what they want/need?

3* or 0* depending on phone. I had this app on my lg motion and it worked ok. When I installed it on my new LG Optimus, it does not work as designed. The app continually stops working and it is impossible to create a paint note. NO options to change the color, brush size, or edit paint notes due to lack of menu. This app will be uninstalled for now. I may give it another try if and when I get another phone. It was a decent enough app until I installed it on my new cell phone.

I've been using for a long time & I still can't believe all that it has. Great job........ but after this long I can't believe it hasn't made it possible to move these extremely important notes to a new phone or even load to cloud in case of lost phone. I've needed both in both scenerios but here I am trying once again as I go to pick up new phone! if the option doesn't work again I may have to search elsewhere and quit recommending to friends. Wish it was more eye appealing too. Please! Easy?!

The font is quite small, which might be annoying for some, but it fits a lot of info on 1 page. It doesn't have any ads, and has lots of side apps like currency coverter. I wish I could customise it to arrange it in alphabetical order, though - settings aren't available in the free version. But please, PLEASE, ADD A "CANCEL" BUTTON OR AN UNDO BUTTON! I've lost some data due to this a few tines now and it is so frustrating. This is the only thing that's stopping me from using this app.

It won't let me give more than five stars or I would. I really really like this app. The greatest thing about it is that I am able to search for a word or phrase. It will take some time to learn about all its capable of. I suspect much more than I have tapped so far.

Looks like quite a great app and I installed it at some point after reading about it on Lifehacker. But the one fatal flaw of it for me is how it doesn't seem to offer any sync features, which I absolutely need in a note-taking app. Until then, I'm sticking to Evernote.

Went through 24 note applications trying to find one that was easy to use and had the necessary basics, like syncing. All the trial & effort was wasted as I kept coming back here. This isn't just a note taking app it's a veritable treasure trove of goodies, just like the companion Notepad app. An entire office suite of functions are all here. Don't waste your time searching, dwnload and start your learning curve today cuz there's a lot to learn here!

Nice app. I've been using it for years. All I ask; Please move the "delete" and "clear" button from the main notes writing screen. Can't tell u how many times I get in a zone, tap the clear or delete button, and lose EVERYTHING! I mean it's seriously right in the pathway of sloppy thumbs. way too easy to lose precious information. Thanks

I almost can't believe the myriad of things this app can do, and the number of resources you can access all in one easy to use app. Easily one of my favorite and most-used apps. Will probably upgrade to paid version eventually. Don't hesitate. Sometimes things AREN'T "too good to be true"!

Though sadly, even with all its features, it doesn't seem to have the one I need most; a full sized widget so I can view my shopping lists etc right on my home screen...

It's MUCH better than a normal notepad, but a little over-confident to call it "ridiculously full-featured." FreeNote is way better. You can actually add elements such s images, audio, video, and handwriting on top of each other. THAT is ridiculously full-featured.

This app needs to have the ability to hand write notes like "Papyrus". But also be able to reject palm touch. This would make it so that this is my sole note taking app. It should have every feature every other app has. This would be awesome! Hey dev, please! Regardless, this is still an awesome note app.

I just upgraded my phone and I am disappointed with this update. Auto backup does not work and I lost my note 3 times b/c of where the back button is on my new phone. I can't do anything with the settings so I don't know if I should pay for the full version. If I don't come across a troubleshoot for it I will most likely delete it.

I thot this app was so cool, it has so many features, I couldn't believe wat it could do!¡ Then I used the calculators, turns out there's no option 4 CND, only USD. In the sales tax calculator, every US state is listed & a lot of other countries too, but not Canada. Maybe the devprs thot we could use US currency & tax percentages, (that's if they even thot of Canada) but it doesn't work that way. Since this app isn't Canada friendly I will delete it. It's a shame, I wanted 2 buy the premium version.

I have never seen such an amazing combination of tools under 1 app. it's a pretty much has every option I would ever need to keep notes document. voice tools, calendar tools, share, email blah blah blah.....Get it!

This app has lots of features and note types. Organization is complicated, retrieving notes is hard. I lost quite a few of them. Uninstall I'm afraid.

I am aggravated with the fact I cannot seem to figure out how to delete or name a new folder that was created inadvertently without its title. Frustrating. If possible to do this, then star rating would be upped. If not, may uninstall.
