What happened? I bought my cameras a year or so ago. The camera itself is excellent, but the software has changed drastically and not for the good! Used to be easy to access events (I want motion activated only); there was an alarm notice to my phone instantly; no cloud storage bs; software was easy to use, not all these sub-menus. Not the easiest to set up, but a great system. Now it's awful trying to use my cameras - might as well be bookends.

Okay so after my first 2 reviews (negative) it's finally working again. There should be some instructions on how to use this app if you update it with a new UI so we don't get confused. Nice to see there has been bug fixes though, binding an email finally works, camera is kept in correct time. Motion detection notification is a little slow because the player isn't loaded in real-time, so by the time you get the notification to see who's walking past, they've already gone.

App works fine and hasn't crashed on me yet. However the UI is not nice, nor intuitive. My favourite is the 'Press Esc to quit' message that comes up when you press back on the main screen. Also, there is no way to always have night mode on. You can choose Night mode to be off, or to automatically turn on, but not for it to stay on. This is very annoying as the camera physically clicks quite loudly when switching to and from night mode, sometimes waking up el child.

Edit: This app has been updated and is sooooo much better in every way. Great work guys and gals, keep it up. It's not very well.optimised. I have a one plus 6 and it's not happy displaying the app. The bottom of the screen is cut off with a nasty blue bar which covers the on screen buttons. Def needs work.

The performance of the app and camera is hopeless. The app MAY connect to the camera and when it does you MAY be able to control the camera position, but don't hold your hopes up. You MAY also be able to look at past events. The performance of the app and cam are so unreliable as to make it useless. Total waste of time and money

Well, it was working very well until this latest update, but now it doesn't connect at all. As the camera is over 50 miles away, I will need to find time to reinstall it. Not the best experience. The app was amended again, and with a remote reboot of the camera, it's all working again.👍 scrub that, it's not connecting! Update. It has been working fine again.

Even if you close the app it consumes alot of battery through processing. It worries me what it is processing? Today it used 25% of my total battery after I looked at it for 30 seconds in the morning and then closed it. You have to go into your phone Android settings find the app and select force stop everytime you have used it to stop it using your battery up. Otherwise it works OK, but video freezes quite abit.. Wish there was another option to use with my camera.

Can No Longer Access Camera when away. I had camera hardwired for more reliability. It just stopped working when I am not on the same network. Ive changed wires. Set up wifi. Changed WiFi routers. Deleted app, reset camera several times. The yellow Lan light isnt flashing but and WiFi wont connect. The lan set up juat started working. But I still have rhe same issue No Connectionif I am Not On the Same Network at the same time. So at home.

Can someone contact me, the "eyecloud " storage is not opening .. nothing happens when I tap the cloud icon. I've paid up months in advance. My alert sounds then I can only see live action after the initial reaction.. Thank you. < will change ratings when this issue is addressed, it was a great app until this point but paid cloud storage in non-negotiable >

***UPDATE: First issue from June 2019 was resolved but now months later that I renew the Cloud Storage Subscription it does not work. Will update if and when issue is resolved. Renewal is 30 days, I'm hoping if and when resolved it works for 30 days.*** Eyecloud storage has not been working. Not sure why we need to pay for the storage if it doesn't properly work. If this gets fixed it'd be a great app and camera but so far the main purpose that we got this for is not functioning.

the app is pretty great but I found a huge issue. It is auto rejecting all my calls after updating to the latest version. I can call trough fb messenger but my actual phone calls will auto rejected when picked up. this happens when sending and/or receiving calls. may have to uninstall if not fixed fast.

its a good apps for Apeman IP ID71 model security camera, however it takes awhile, a minute or 2, to launch the application when you press the shortcut icon it created on android phones before it comes up; also sometimes it wont come up, then you will keep pressing the eyecloud apps many times; it looks as if there's delay reaction just to launch the apps. from your andoid phones. Also at times when you play the video recorded, the video either lags when played or the recorded video is kinda in fast frame mode, overall it is a good apps. for Apeman IP ID71 model security cameras despite what metioned above.. I wish you could take a second look of what causing the apps. delayed reaction just to launch the apps. and others I mentioned above whether could use some improvement or new revision to its existing software / firmware

Bought the cam to watch my dog when I'm out. Needed to record footage today, no SD card so paid for cloud storage, even though I was supposed to get a free trial (never got it). Bought the storage but it didn't change anything, unable to store footage or activate purchase. Hope I never need it again as I refuse to pay if it's not supplied. Managed to get refund. Would very much like the cloud storage to work. Have emailed developer.

Once password has been updated it refused to work . Password reset not working. Uninstalled and started again. It doesn't work. Won'taccept new password. This is a nightmare. No tech support . Device being sent back to supplier. Not fit for purpose. Angry and very annoyed.

camera and controls work great BUT cloud not so much I paid 99 cents for the trial and I'm glad it's a trial as of now. it doesnt seem to save and as of recently i cant even access it. the app needs a push notification when motion is detected I'm not receiving one on my galaxy s8+

Version 5.5.1 worked fine for a few days. Now it does not. Camera appears always offline. *Update: after several resets, the camera now works. It's frustrating with the random "offline" status of the camera when you least expect it.

You will pay your subscription then it will keep cutting off on you. It won't let you get into the storage setting part. It is a horrible app! I installed the newest version and now I can't get any of it to work. Can't get help with app. It's a rip off. Should have listened to the reviews!

What happened to being able to backup a video if we need to recheck something if we missed it. Use to be able to do that, not now though. Ok now I am getting an offline thing. I am and have always been connected with internet since I bought the camera and installed this app. I have been keeping it updated as well but still getting an offline thing. Please fix.

always offline for some reason and talks about upgrade. too many errors and not satisfied with the camera. not helpful when I need it. countless times trying to troubleshoot and it's not easy to follow instructions

Update removes SD card functionally. Since my Android phone updated this App, the only storage available is by subscription Cloud. This makes both security cameras useless for viewing footage remotely, only a live picture available. Downloaded Eye4 instead, works a treat.

It worked fine until the last update. Now I can't log on and view anything unless I'm standing in the same room. Update: I reset my camera and reconfigured the network and I have all the updates but still nothing if I'm not on the same network. I can't view anything away from home?? Whats the purpose of having a security camera that I have to be home to view.

You can't really look at video from before. It cuts off a lot so you can never see what actually happened. Sometimes it just completely cuts off so nothing was saved to the cloud.

Just installed yesterday. Camera is working but no audio & don't know why. In the app it says Video/Audio settings but no audio settings available. My phone doesn't have SD card slot so I can't use that feature at all. Any help would be appreciated & will gladly update my review
