■ What is bluelight?
- Bluelight is blue colored light with very short and visibel wavelength between 380 and 500 nm(nanometer). It used to serve as medical treatment for pimples in dermatology. However, many experts say that persistent exposure of blue light is quite dangerous. Namely, long time exposure of bluelight might cause xerophthalmia and even bring damage to retina nad eye lens. Furthermore, bluelight exposure from smatphone and TV in the late night, sound sleep would be interupted by hampered sleep inducing hormons secretion.

Adware. So disappointing after years of using this app. I loved the design of the simple notification bar and having the cute ghost icon turn the filter on/off. Also liked the flashlight being there. But then the creator added sneaky adware to the app and it took me awhile to pin point it back to this app bc I had had it for so long. What's weird tho is I didn't get adware until after I recently formatted my phone & redownloaded all my apps.
It used to be a fantastic app before the incessant ads began, especially the ones which silence my alarms in the morning. In the past it would have received 5 stars from me, but no longer. I am uninstalling it and replacing it with a different ad free filter.
This app suddenly put pop-up ads on my phone, showing up while unlocking my phone, texting, playing games, everything. I had to uninstall the app. I loved it but I can't stand pop-up ads.
WARNING: SNEAKY UNDERHANDED FULL SCREEN ADS THAT MALWAREBYTES DOES NOT DETECT SOURCE ON. You may find yourself searching Google for potential likely apps that are the sources to find out that other people who had the same phone affliction used a pinpoint method and tracked it down to this very app. Do the pinpoint method yourself, and guess which app is your culprit as well. Disgusting, despicable business tactic. Makes you wonder what else they package their compromised app with.
I was so sick of the pop up ads this app put on my tablet (even when it was locked). It was so frequent, it hindered me using the tablet, so I started to delete apps one by one til I found the culprit. I do NOT recommend this programme to anyone.
I like how i can select different colors of bluelight filters in this app which makes it very unique.Plus i can also adjust the brightness or intensity of the bluelight filter which is a bonus.
The app, 2 years ago, was okay... Now it has become very intolerable. The app exits itself every tap I make on a button.
Perfect and easy use. Just download it so it won't hurt your eyes in the dark.

I wish it had a timer to turn on and off
Intrusive ads. A video ad with sound could even start when the you enter the lockscreen. In the morning my alarm would start and i couldnt close it any more with power button because ads started playing on phone wakeup

Helps with reading night time
It's almost been 4 years since I installed this app. And it does its job very well. But now smartphones have changed and I am facing problems. First sometimes this app does not start on its own even if I set the timer. And second it does not fully cover new phones display especially those having 18:9 aspect ratio. Please fix this rest is good.
Constant full screen pop up ads are annoying when you don't even have the app open.
Full screen ads. This was one of the best screen filter apps out there. With lots of features that other apps didn't have. But it's just not worth it with the sneaky full screen ads that appear when you unlock your phone. Uninstalling asap.
